Told me I would be serviced at 11am but instead showed up at 12pm ( I had to call him at 11:30am to inquire where he was at because I got no call from him to let me know he was going to be late). And once he finally was arriving I kept getting asked for the address I already provided (He kept getting lost)?!? I came here specifically because this is a family owned business. These guys aren't like all the other corporate companies around town that all belong to the same parent company. When I called I didn't get some call center schmuck instead I spoke someone who assured me my key could be replaced. When I arrived a young man looked at my broken key and told me he could replace it and for $5 a key I couldn't believe how great of a price it was. He cut the key with his machine instantly. Highly recommend! This was my first time needing a locksmith's service. He came to Ontario from Riverside without hesitation. I was stranded at work and he was quick to respond (I say he because I didn't catch his name!) I didn't have to wait for hours! He also didn't give me any run arounds and was straight to the point. He knew if he had the key in stock and didn't give me any of that "let me call you back" kind of deal that I got from other places. I'm super happy it was the original key fob as well and it came with an extra key, which was a nice bonus. The whole process took about 20mins so it was pretty quick. I am definitely going to be using him again especially because it's cheaper compared to having to get my car towed to a dealership and paying their overpriced amount for a key. read more

This company is a rip-off. They are listed under several different names and one of them is Charlotte locksmith service; locksmith service and several more. They are listed on the Geico website but once they arrive and complete the work they state they do not accept insurance and they over-charge. They charged 189 dollars and when I called to ask about the price, they would not answer the phone. The tech that came out said he texted the dispatch, which is how he gets notices to go out, but they did not respond. I started not to pay but it was not the tech fault (I guess), so went on and paid after talking with Geico who was willing to reimburse. Beware. ML quoted $35 to program a keyless fob by phone. The following day I called to confirm the price and he said, "I have to see the car." The counter person spoke no English. A sign above the counter stated a surcharge of 8.75% would be added to ATM and credit cards. The tech man arrived, looked me up and down, said nothing for a good minute, then grunted, "$150." Don's Lock and Key, fast and professional, did the work for $80 as quoted. I had no issues communicating with the counter person. I was not surcharged for using a credit card. read more

My motorcycle key snapped in half while I was at work, got off at 1 am, went in early the next morning and had two keys made extremely quickly and for an amazing price! When I say not the most professional, I don't mean they were rude in any way.
