This was a great choice because it allows you to sort of keep up with the flow of traffic and you also don't have a pedal so much lol. It was so fun! They give you a bike lock and paper map with suggested places to visit or you can do the guided tour with one of their tour guides. I saw one in passing and it looked pretty fun. The bikes come with a little bag on the front to hold the lock and other small things. You also have the option to add a cell phone holder or basket to the bike, even a picnic add-on (basket, reusable wine glasses, blanket, & coupons). I would definitely use their bikes again!

I went in to get a tuneup after moving to the area and rather than charge me full price for the end-to-end service, they only fixed the couple of issues that were out of whack after the move. After returning my bike to peak operating form, they put me on the fitting rack to ensure everything was properly positioned. A couple of quick, expert tweaks later, I and my nearly 20 year old bike were back on the road running better than we had in a long time.

I crossed over Waters while vehicles were stopped in line to cross Eisenhower after the light turned green. Well a frantic lady in a Honda Accord went in to the oncoming lane racing to catch a green left turn on to Eisenhower light and suddenly BAM! I am now sitting on her roof with my feet still locked to my pedals and my Cannondale Road Bike up there with me. As I stared at my bent front forks and front wheel laying 50 feet in front of me with two VHS Tapes strawn on the road as well, I hopped off the ladies roof and she was very upset that she'd hit me. I assured her that I was fine but the Bicycle Shop I bought my bike from was just down the road. So she and I put all my stuff in her Accord, dropped the VHS's off and drove to Star. The Staff added a bit of pain and suffering to the quote, the lady paid the bill and I came out with one or two items extra once the repairs were done. I'll never buy from anyone else and I'm now a 61 year old man and this story occurred in 1987.

Unfortunately the Asian lady owner told him to get out. He came out, and told us he was told to get out. Soon after, she came out yelling at everyone "Get out of my doorway! I have a business to run, too!" So I went in, and the first thing she said was "What do you want?!" I told her that my nephew went inside to actually look at bikes. She said "no! You are blocking my shop!" It's too bad that she was so rude because we were actually thinking about renting bikes from her shop. She's an embarrassment to my Asian people. No wonder this country still looks at us as foreigners.

He's so passionate about it that we ended up getting a three hour tour instead of two. He really wanted us to get the chance to see a few things before they closed, and since we were all willing we took a few detours here and there. He gives honest restaurant recommendations and also encourages people to reach out after the tour. We even passed people on the route who yelled out to him, he clearly has a great reputation with the locals as well. If I did nothing else while visiting I could walk away confident that I learned more during these three hours than I would have going to see things on my own or on a different tour.

My husband's bike wheel needed a new tube that they did in a short time. I should mention that everyone in the establishment was wearing masks and maintaining social distancing. The pricing was quite reasonable . ~~ Store ~~ The store sells bicycles and accessories as well as has a repair shop. The area is very clean, uncluttered and the items are neatly arranged. I especially liked their collection of the bells and colorful helmets. They also had mostly high end bicycles on display. ~~ Location & Parking ~~ Near the Harry S Truman parkway, a decent sized store that opened around 2 years back. They have their own parking lot with plenty of parking spaces.

This place was the closest option and was even walkable from our hotel, which made it super convenient. I originally wanted to rent a regular bike without any power assistance, but apparently my only option was an electric bike. I was definitely uncomfortable at first since it was my first time riding one, but after a little while I got the hang of it and honestly would recommend giving it a chance. The pedal assist ended up making the rides a lot more enjoyable, especially in the heat. We ended up riding close to 30 miles over two days and got to see so much more of the island than we would have if we had just driven everywhere. We were told the bikes could even glide across the sandy beach if we wanted to try that, but the sun was just too intense for us to attempt it. We rented the bikes for 24 hours, and the total came out to over $100. The bikes themselves had a range of around 50 miles, which was more than enough for exploring. The owner still personally runs the business, and he was incredibly pleasant and sweet. I always love supporting small businesses, especially ones that make your vacation experience even better.

Bought a Big Horn utv and had him do another job for me which did not fix the problem. As other reviews stated they had the same problem. It cost me 2K to have it repaired with less than 40 hours on it. Tractor supply sells bighorn but they will not guarnatee to back the warranty. The owner has a bad attitude and has told his customers to go elsewhere. I would think twice about buying a bighorn as in my opinion they are a piece of junk. And no reliable service or backing And I would buy from someone that appreciates your business
