They painted our dining room, baby's room, master bedroom, and kiddo's closet (plus repairs). They also do exterior painting. We had a few other bids, one was close to theirs, and one was $1K higher (yikes, plus that company went dark on responding), and felt like theirs was perfectly fair and in line with what we expected. The husband and wife team came out and surveyed the rooms, got our samples so they could color match with high quality Sherwin Williams paint. I had to nail them down on a start date, but turns out they were on a family spring break (so were we) which totally makes sense. They were able to start within two weeks of quoting, and finished the project in two days. I appreciated that the same husband and wife team were doing the work with the crew, not just passing them off which happened to us before and didn't go well. Most importantly, beyond price and timing, the painting looks great! Very professional without paint drips. They even moved and reassembled the large hutch to the wall and put everything back in areas where paint had sufficiently dried. TL;DR; Quality painting, good communication, fair price point, effective process. They'll be our painters moving forward. The crew not only worked their tails off to provide results and finishes in a timely manner, but cleaned up incredibly well! I have never had a home renovation completed to such high standards! I called Mike for an estimate and was later called by Chuck Kreimendahl with a date and time for the estimate. Mike's son a very nice young man came for an estimate arriving as scheduled. Chuck called a couple of days later with the estimate and answered all my questions about pricing. Mike , his son, and wife started on the agreed upon date. They were all very friendly and very hard workers. The paint colors were matched perfectly and they completed the job in 3 days. They did an excellent job and cleaned up day before leaving. HORRIBLE! Aaron told me his company has over 20 yrs…read more experience restoring and building decks. I soon found out he's the only employee and lacks knowledge and skills working on decks. I have weeds growing out of my deck boards that sits 5-6 feet off the ground! My deck frame/support boards measure 3", he put a board 2 1/4" on top leaving a large gap for dirt, debris and water to collect and sit on top of my deck frame/support boards underneath resulting in weeds. This will also cause rotting on my deck frame/support boards. Railing boards were cut short and uneven too. He was cussing throughout the whole project replacing deck floor joists, floor boards and rails. He couldn't lift the joists and had to wait for a friend of his to come help him lift them, it took him 4 days to remove the wood screws in my existing floor boards grinding away at screws using the wrong bits or stripped bits. He said it was due to his battery on his drill being low but this happened everyday. I asked him a few time to make sure he picked up all the wood screws so I wouldn't get a flat on my riding lawn mower. I ended up finding almost 20 screws he left around my deck and yard and had to buy a magnet sweeper to make sure I picked them all up. It took him over 2 weeks to complete, a job that should've only taken 3-4 days. I know because I've had this done twice before. He spent a lot of time on the phone answering calls and returning phone calls to people while he attempted to work on my deck. When I told Aaron about weeds growing out of my deck, his response was it will cost me to come fix it and he sent me an invoice. He expects me to pay for his mistakes??? He proceeded to tell me he was a one man show and he has no retirement (his words). Like this is supposed to make me feel sorry for him and an excuse for shoddy work?

His team of about seven painters worked long hours on day two (8:30 am to 8:30 pm) so any inconvenience for me was short-lived (pressure washing on half of day one, wood rot replacement, scraping, caulking and and most of the body paint during all of day two and the rest of the body paint, trim, front door, touchups and cleanup on two thirds of day three). They did a great job with plenty of paint coverage. I also liked how they worked around the unpredictable spring weather.
