Worst job ever. I went through Heaven's Glory because a "friend" worked there and had been working…read morethere for a while. So I thought they would know what they're doing. I was wrong. I paid around $6,500 to have my house repainted (including scraping, sanding, caulking, and repairs to water damaged trim). First of all, the crew smoked so much weed while working that the neighbors complained. They barely scraped any cracked or peeling paint. Sanded nothing. So now a year and a half later, I have multiple code violations for cracked and peeling paint from the city. No care was taken to mask off areas that weren't supposed to be painted. They sprayed my gutters, garage door, gas meter, mail box. They missed areas all together. Spilled and run off paint. They painted over stained woodwork and bricks. Trim was only painted on one side. I thought they were going to finish the back and sides the same. So after they got paid they never came back. I didn't really want to tell a friend that this was the worst job I had ever seen. So I ask him multiple times to come out and finish the sides and back. "Antonio" keeps telling me he is busy and will come out when he can. This goes on for a while. I get a new ticket for cracked a peeling paint from the city so I message him again. This time more aggressive. He acts like he doesn't know what I'm talking about. First they don't do trim. Then they did do the trim and it's white. Then later that they only do the front and the sides cost more. So "Antonio" does stop by the house and we talk face to face. I walk him around the house and show him everything. He gives me his word that he will come on Sunday and "make it right". The night before he messages me that I will have to pay more for labor and that the back and sides weren't included. Basically pay more or I'm screwed. Any way I didn't want to bad mouth anybody but a couple of crank heads could have done this quality of work. And for a lot less money. My main contact was Antonio (which isn't even his real name) but Mario and another guy were there and did the same trash work. And scare me for trying to support a friends business. I took bids for a complete paint job and wood rot repair on my house. Brogan had what seemed to be…read morea reasonable bid, so I planned to give them the job pending meeting at the house in person. The bid was for $4,275.00. When I met with Ed Brogan at the house, the first thing he said was, "I went to the wrong house." I thought he was explaining why he was several minutes late for our meeting. But no. He siad, "I actually went to the wrong address when I was quoting your job," on a house one block over. I asked what that meant to my project. He said, "Well, I'm done. I can't do your house for less than $7,500.00." So he wanted $3,225 more than he quoted. I asked him if he was willing to reduce his $7,500 bid since it was his mistake. He got angry at just the question. I told him I had quoted much work in my career, and if I underbid or missed something, I took the hit and did the project for what I quoted. It was like he couldn't understand what I was saying. He started shaking his head. I said, "I think doing the job at or near what you quoted is the honorable thing to do." His response was to turn his back on me and start walking away. I said, "excuse me," and he turned back, only to say, remarkably, "I'm nice and you're not nice." What? Now he's going to insult me? Ed Brogan is not an honorable person, and in fact sent off all of the vibes of a bait-and-switch con man. Who drives to the wrong address when you have GPS? Who doesn't stand behind their quote? Who won't even try to find a middle ground? Deal with Brogan's Home Painting at your great peril. You are guranteed an unpleasant experience, and with his attitude about customers, who knows what kind of job they will do. The experience was so unpleasant that I wish I could give Brogan a minus rating. It's a company owned by a dishonest person. BTW, I had a witness to this whole conversation.

When we suffered flood damage in our basement, Value Clean sent in a crew to clean up. Unfortunately the water was not all that disappeared. But since we couldn't prove that the crew removed thousands of dollars worth of tools from our garage, we could not take action. The repair work done by Quality Restorations was of such poor quality, we had to hire another crew to fix the mess Quality Restorations made. Although Quality Restorations said they would reimburse us for those documented expenses, they now refuse to take our calls or reply to our concerns. This dispute has been going on for a year. Our recourse at this point is to file suit. Deal with these people at your own risk.

His team of about seven painters worked long hours on day two (8:30 am to 8:30 pm) so any inconvenience for me was short-lived (pressure washing on half of day one, wood rot replacement, scraping, caulking and and most of the body paint during all of day two and the rest of the body paint, trim, front door, touchups and cleanup on two thirds of day three). They did a great job with plenty of paint coverage. I also liked how they worked around the unpredictable spring weather.
