Instead of a deep pan crust with layers of cheese and a sausage patty, it felt more like a basic sausage pizza with a thicker crust--similar in texture to the breadsticks--with sausage balls on top. The sausage tasted very processed, which was disappointing. The last time we visited this location, the Chicago style deep dish was completely different and much better. It's possible the menu or recipe has changed without us realizing, but we specifically came here because of how much we remembered enjoying that pizza, the small family-style restaurant and the decoration for Christmas. The restaurant was beautifully decorated for Christmas, and we were really looking forward to reliving that experience, so it was disappointing to leave feeling let down.
