This was one of the locations that came up - the antique center does have stalls open during the week aside from the outdoor market they have outside the facility on Sundays. Similar to some of the other antique malls or multi-stall stores I've been to, there are different stalls that are rented out by different vendors that sell different items. Depending on when you visit, some may not be open for business and will be roped off or have signs saying when they will be open next. We did go when some folks were still off for the holidays, which resulted in a handful of closed stalls, but a good number of the locations were open to wander and shop. Some of the stalls sell vintage and retro items and others like the large toy/doll stall on one of the ends sell deadstock collectible items. I think there's something there for everyone - I saw booths for books, dolls, collectibles, old wartime items, jewelry, and home decor. Pricing does vary for each of the booths and items. Some may run some deals and they will have signs to call out what is on sale in their booth. I did not purchase anything, but I believe if the owner of the booth is not present, you can go to one of the desks throughout the center and ask the folks working there to assist with purchases or for unlocking locked cabinets to see something. There was a decent amount of parking when I went, but if you do go during the outside market on Sundays, I suspect you'd want to go early to get a spot.

Large variety of antiques or repops for everyone. Although I don't purchase if they don't haggle a bit. I understand they are trying to make money but the haggling is part of the experience. Also, just take their 10% off make them call the sellers and see I purchased two lamps that they wanted $495 for two I got for 200 when they said that they would never accept anything less than the 10% / 20% discount. Again I do enjoy the walkabout that antique smell is definitely there and most of the people are very friendly and interesting to talk to.

It was a WIN! One of the many places we visited was the Hospice Hope Chest. Let's start with the two ladies behind the counter who are simply lovely. My daughter and I both left with some treasures, she departed with more than I did. ;) I purchased a collectors item for a friend's birthday and a fantastic gold vintage clutch for myself. Let the record reflect I didn't need another gold nor vintage clutch, but also let the record reflect it gives me JOY! So for $8 and to support a great cause, I bought it. If you're a fellow thriftaholic and find yourself in Mount Dora, stop by the Hospice Hope Chest. It's an accessory haven and they also have a few amazing furniture pieces and lots of items for the home. The store is arranged well and the customer service is superb.

That being said, this is a very nice, curated shopping experience, so you don't have to wade through junk to see the good stuff. I had to flip to more of a boutique/antique shop pricing mindset, which was fine because I'm happy with the quality and selection of things I purchased. They also price things at half of what they find via Google images, meaning they're pricing according to prices and not sold comparisons, so just be wary on the items that are priced at more than what they should be. It's definitely worth a stop!

The Village Antique Mall is conveniently open seven days a week with plenty of free parking in front. Bring your sense of adventure and prepare to spend some time here because there are at least 60 vendors over 12,000 square feet of building. The mall's layout is a maze of aisles and nooks begging to be explored. Each of the booths were set up attractively by theme with so many items to investigate. Inventory included antique furniture, clothes, jewelry, accessories, books, textiles, ceramics, glass, lighting, home goods, vintage toys, holiday decorations, steampunk, antiques, and vintage items. Some of the things that caught my eye were a wall of vintage Tupperware, my beloved vintage Pyrex, uranium glass, an Elvis bust, and beautiful stained glass lamps. If you collect something, they probably have it. Visiting this store is like time traveling through the history of the American home. So many memories are sure to be sparked. Whether you're an avid collector or simply enjoy the thrill of discovering hidden gems, there is no telling what you will find at the Village Antique Mall. If there is a drawback to shopping here, it would be the prices are on the high side. The friendly staff and huge selection however were an added bonus.

It's near the restaurant that was converted from an old gas station. There was a good amount of parking for the mall when I went in the late afternoon. This is another location where vendors rent space in the mall and sell their goods under one roof. Any purchases are taken to the front to be rung up and paid for. This one was a bit more organized in the respective stalls and had a good balance of collectibles, home decor, clothing, accessories, and miscellaneous items. I personally saw more retro or modern items in the booths this time versus true antiques or vintage items I feel. Staff were friendly and welcoming to everyone in there.
