However, Mr. Bedwell showed me what to do to keep it useable for about 10 days until I could get a new one. That evening, he called me to say he had a customer with the same model several months earlier, so he had looked up the invoice and found the part. He offered to order it. I said YES! Really awesome with the quick service! Before he came out, he had research pricing. He took a look at the refrigerator and spent about 20 minutes on it. He told me we would need the tubing as well as the reservoir replaced, as it comes as one part from GE. He told me that the parts would be $125 and he should get them in within the next day or so, and there is a $15 trip charge along with whatever time it would take him to replace. He estimated that it should take no more than 45 minutes (at a cost of $45.) He called me the next day to tell me that FedEx still had not delivered the part but he expected it either later that night or the next day. We made arrangements for him to come out a few days later, based on my schedule. He was very accommodating and said that he could be out between 2 and 4 PM. I also requested that he call first, so I would have a better idea of time. He called this afternoon at 2:30 and told me he should be here around 3 PM. He showed up @3:03. It took him about 25 minutes to replace the part, at a cost of $30. He cleaned up after himself. He is a bit of a straight shooter, no nonsense but capable and curt, but not rude. The only reason I gave him four stars, was due to the $65 cost to come out and diagnose. But he was very punctual and had wonderfully quick service. I would definitely use him again!
