Once measurements were confirmed and we put down a 50% deposit, it was less than four weeks before they were ready. The two installation men were a class act. When they arrived (right at the time they said they would), they took off their shoes at the door--something I didn't ask them to do, but a VERY nice touch. We don't wear shoes in the house, so I especially appreciated this gesture. They also treated my home with exceptional care--I noticed they leaned each shutter gently against the walls, taking heed to not knick or bump anything. We closed on a home 6/22 and within the first 30 days we took bids for many different projects such as plantation blinds, spray foam insulation, whole house generator, and 24x40 metal outbuilding/shed. We also visited the two factories in Jacksonville that make shutters, which was a huge consideration to my wife and I. We wanted to deal with a local company so that any future issues could be more easily resolved. Having the various companies come by the house was quite an education. Not only did we learn a lot of details that we would not have known to consider, but we also got a feel for the professionalism of each company.
