I had never done anything to my eyelashes before but really wanted a lash lift, and I'm SO grateful to have found Chito! I was initially nervous but Chito made the process so simple, comfortable, and most importantly, feel safe -- her practice only takes one person at a time so you're only interacting with her, and she wears a heavy duty mask and a face shield. It's all very hygienic and you can tell she's very responsible. She asks exactly what you want, looks at your lashes before moving forward, confirms a plan, etc. it's very professional and simultaneously puts you at ease. Everything is customized. As for my lashes: I did the plump keratine lash lift. I had never done anything to my lashes before so I don't have much to compare it to, but all I know is that I fell asleep while she was working on my lashes and woke up with long gorgeous eyelashes that are magically MY OWN! Just curled, (semi) permanently, and they look amazing. I will definitely be returning to Lashes by Chito to experiment further with my lashes as she really has great energy and is clearly an expert. When I found out Masterpiece was launching brow lamination I was so excited and intrigued, but also scared to try because I had seen "soapy" brows and didn't think it would look good on me. But I trust Chito with my life so I decided to give it a try. I didn't realize the power of eyebrows until I got my brows laminated. I feel like there was something missing in my brow routine and this honestly solved my problems. It's so low maintenance my brow routine only takes 10 seconds max (aka me just brushing up my eyebrows with a spooly). My face looks so lifted and even when I don't have makeup on I look and feel so put together. I've done it twice now and I think I have to keep doing it whenever I can. I think if you're a lazy / low maintenance girl you should definitely try it out, but even if you're high maintenance it adds such an oomph to your look I would 10/10 recommend. I've never gotten so many compliments on my eyebrows and people always ask if I've done anything because it still looks really natural, just more lifted I've also been getting lash lifts from Chito/Masterpiece for over a year now and haven't been able to stop! read more

This was my first ever experience getting a lash lift and I absolutely loved it! Chito is extremely nice and takes every client with an extra care! She explained me the whole process of the lash lift procedure, step by step, while I was filling in the application form and made me feel super comfortable , as I was a little nervous at the beginning (I've never done lash extension or lash lift before ) The whole process took a little over an hour and I haven't felt any discomfort even tho my eyes been always a little sensitive. After we finished and I looked at the mirror , I couldn't believe how amazing my lashes were! I have naturally long lashes and with the lift I can completely forget about mascara and a curler! Chito gave me a lot of good recommendations on how to take care of my lashes and make the lift last longer . I purchased a keratin serum that she recommended and my lashes look even more gorgeous now! Also, the studio is cozy and extremely clean, located at the prime location in Williamsburg and is very easy to get to! I absolutely loved my results ( picture speaks for itself). Lashes by Chito is a wonderful studio. If you're a first-timer like me, rest assured -- you're in good hands! My technician, Meg, did amazingly. If you're afraid at all, don't be! The whole session was very soothing and relaxing as Meg explained everything clearly and did everything gently. My lashes are normally straight and point downwards. Incredible atmosphere, very careful technicians, and the lashes felt and looked great when i first got them. Only issue is the retention has not been good from the start with multiple lashes falling out. it's only been about 2 weeks and so much has fallen out but I'm super careful about my lashes and haven't had fallout like this before usually. The lashes are attached to the extension which is good because it's not the glue, it also is too late for the change in weather to be impact the lashes I believe so not sure the cause. As the lashes began to fall out in the beginning it impacted the way the set looked and I prefer that a set can last me 2 weeks at a minimum. read more

I've had my lashes done a few times prior to my appointment, but this session with Chito definitely exceeded my expectations and was all over a better experience than the places I have gone to before. I went with the 80 lash set of the sable and asked for a more natural look. Chito really listened to me and made sure she understood what type of look I was going for. Now almost 3 weeks later, my lashes still look fantastic (barely any of them have fallen off and I'm a stomach sleeper). They feel light and natural, I have never once felt irritated by them.
