I arrived a few minutes early and they were ready for me, the artist made a few stencils before I arrived, I was already in the system and setup, asked if I wanted something to eat or coffee. Quickly seated at the artist's station and the exact size and position were determined. Kathleen Martello is a very talented artist and a pleasure to spend time with, answers all questions, addresses any concerns. Very happy with the work, this was my third time she has done work for me. The atmosphere is very calm clean and professional. Pricing was very reasonable.

The staff was helpful, though a bit aloof and standoffish at times. That said, I did run into some issues that made this a more difficult experience than it needed to be. The jewelry used was externally threaded, and they did not have 19mm bars available. I was pierced with 16mm bars, which ended up being just slightly too short for my anatomy. I was pierced in August 2025, and now in December I have had a very difficult healing process largely due to the bar length. I constantly dealt with the balls pressing in and threatening to embed because there simply wasn't enough room for swelling. Before getting pierced, I did ask if longer bars could be used or ordered. I was told they only place jewelry orders every few months and that ordering a specific size for me and having me come back was not how they do things. I was willing to pay for the proper jewelry and return, but that wasn't an option. In hindsight, I should have walked out, but I really wanted the piercings and went forward anyway. I also did not see an A.P.P. membership sticker displayed, which in retrospect should have been another sign for me to choose a different shop. I recently changed my jewelry myself to 19mm internally threaded bars, and the difference has been huge. My nipples are healing properly now and are noticeably happier. I can't speak to their tattooing, but based on my experience, their piercing policies could use improvement. I personally wouldn't return for piercings unless they begin offering internally threaded jewelry and can demonstrate A.P.P. standards.

"I gotta say im pretty impressed with the people who actually run the shop. I had gone in a few weeks ago and had a not so great experience with krystal and posted it here. The next day i was contacted by shawn and mike in regards to my review. Turns out these guys take this yelp thing very aeriously. They were very eager to make me happy. Even went as far as to offer me the money back. The actual tattoo came out good and that wasnt the problem. My original problem was with the customer service skills or lack there of by krystal. But from what im told shes no longer there. Anyway, these guys are total professionals and seem to love what they do. Im happy that mike reached out to me because it goes to show you that there are still people out there that take pride in what they do. I was lucky to find Mike Pastore after my tattooist left suddenly without a fwding address or a copy of my design. I was nervous & a little intimidated entering a tattoo parlor that was so large with so many artists. But when I booked my appointment a lovely receptionist answered & asked me to explain exactly what I was looking for because there were several artists each specializing in a different style or technique,I explained my dilemma she suggested I have a consultation.Upon entering the shop I was amazed at how clean the facility was & how friendly all the artists were. I didn't just get a consultation with Mike personally but he encouraged me to ask around the other artists. I felt like I had my own personal tattoo team! it was great! I love my tattoo,i love Mr.Pastore & his staff & I couldn't be happier with the outcome,since then I've been back for two more tattoos. Mike also isn't just a tattoo doer, he's a natural born, skilled artist, as well as a primed veteran. Yeah some people, or other tattoo artists may beg to differ, but that's there ego thinking. I just got a tattoo done on my ankle with Jerome and he's honestly one of the nicest guys I've ever met. He was so caring and patient considering this was my first tattoo and I was still indecisive about the little details. My sister also got a tattoo on her ankle, done by him. I feel like he should get a lot more credit than most people give him. His personality is great: he was funny, talkative, and entertaining. Also, their tattoo prices are the best! Other shops that we asked were very very expensive, but I'm so glad I got my first tattoo with him. It's only been 2 hours since I got it done as I'm writing this and only time will tell how the final product will look. But as of right now, it's amazing and I wouldn't change anything about it. I was referred to mike by someone who's opinion on tattoos I value highly. I went in extremely nervous, this being my first tattoo in 11 years. I went in, told them what I wanted. Rabbit drew up the lettering I wanted, then me him and mike discussed alterations to it, all of them improvements. It being a chest tattoo, to say the experience was unpleasant is putting it mildly, but Mike was extremely patient with me, as I do not have the pain tolerance I thought I had, and all the other artists there encouraged me and were rooting me on. The entire staff helped me to relax and made me feel very comfortable and confident in my decision to go there and would definitely recommend this place to others. Over the course of my life 8 other people have tattooed me. Since I have met Mike Pastore no other person will ever touch me again. He is the best artist I have ever met. His down to earth fun attitude adds the the pleasant experience of being tattooed, not to mention how clean and comfortable his shop is. Came here to get my belly pierced. Was a bit nervous at first, but the piercer (Mickey) was extremely polite and helped put me at ease. He marked off the area and was very thorough with his placement of the jewelry. he then had me lay down and set the clamp and pierced me. I barely felt a thing and immediately started laughing at just how worked up i had gotten myself. I go here for ALL of my piercings! The piercer Tony is fast, (painless) knowledgeable, affordable and hes completely sterile & professional..not to mention hot, wanted to throw that in there. First, the business made me feel extremely…read moresafe during Covid times, they practiced lots of precautions such as limiting the amount of people inside. Second, Sami was so informative and answered every question I had. A year ago, I got my upper lobes pierced at a different tattoo studio and it formed (from what I learned by Sami) a granule. I had to remove that piercing and it closed. Sami reassured me there could've been a multitude of factors that contributed to it, namely the POOR aftercare instructions I was given by that piercer. She even examined the other upper lobe piercing that managed to heal after the granule and informed me there was scar tissue but still a flat surface. SAMI KNOWS HER STUFF!!! Also, What I loved about her was not only did She take her time with matching the piercings BUT she asked for a second opinion!!! The second person also took their time to examine the location. Not just looked at it and gave a green light. I, not being an experienced piercer, would've taken Sami's first word for the location. So the fact she asked for a second opinion, and was humble enough to modify it as per the other opinion, really made my heart rest easy. Again, the lobes aren't too difficult a place to pierce but Sami handled me with care. The piercing itself was quick. We talked about trickiest place for a piercer and the longest after care piercing. Really informative and never felt rushed!! Don't know if there's a difference but this was the first time I got pierced with a labret backing instead of a butterfly! Anyway loved Sami, would come back again for another piercing !

Bri was the piercer on site and I was very specific I wanted it to be exactly where my old scar was, she acknowledged. Her technique was to pierce my nose from inside-out vs outside-in. She missed my scar. I have a shiny nose stud right on top of my scar making it even more prominent to the eyes. I am very disappointed and my choices are either to stare at my scar or to remove the stud and get an extra scar. I reached out to them via email to let them know my experience, I did not ask for a refund and did not expect them to give me one. I expected them to at least acknowledge their fault and show some sort of corrective action such as "i'll speak to Bri", "im sorry for your experience" but silence for 3 weeks now. That is really unprofessional, there is no accountability. I am traumatized.
