I was honestly disappointed by how much touristy junk there was everywhere. We walked by Twisted Vessel after breakfast and were immediately blown away (no pun intended with the blown glass ) by the quality of the work in the window. Within seconds of stepping inside, I couldn't believe how incredible the artwork was. The gentleman at the counter, who I later learned was the artist and owner, Steve, was incredibly kind. I had set my coffee and some of our other purchases outside because I didn't want to bring them into the studio and disrespect the space. He immediately offered for me to bring everything inside and set it in the corner so it wouldn't sit out in the heat. My husband and I ended up talking with Steve for almost two hours. He had the most phenomenal stories. He made us laugh, and he made us cry. If we hadn't needed to drive home that evening, we probably could have stayed there all day, or until he kicked us out. We left with the most beautiful hummingbird, which now hangs in our kitchen window. Steve gave me a card with a story about a the hummingbird "doing their part" during a hard situation, and it symbolized hope. With my dad currently in hospice, that little card and hummingbird have taken on an incredibly special meaning for me. I couldn't have found a more meaningful piece to bring home from my 30th birthday trip. Two weeks after our trip, I happened to look up Twisted Vessel again and was genuinely flabbergasted by some of the negative reviews, particularly the ones complaining about parking or Steve's demeanor. Our experience could not have been more different. Steve could not have been more pleasant with us. I think the difference is that we weren't looking for another tourist stop. We genuinely appreciated the art, the craftsmanship, and the stories behind the work. This isn't somewhere you go simply to park your car and check another attraction off your list. It's a place to slow down, appreciate art, and talk with an artist who clearly has a passion for what he does. Truly a diamond in the rough. I can't wait for our next trip back so we can purchase another piece and, hopefully, spend even more time talking with Steve.

He was very patient and knowledgeable regarding the artists and their works. We purchased a Giclée ( reproduction of an original by the best professional ink jet print with high resolution, color, longevity, and in our case; on canvas ). Generally, one rarely will realize a return on this type of investment; so we purchased for the pleasure of the artist's work. In our case, Rod Chase. I did some research and found the pricing to be consistent with similar online sites. However, the framing was significantly more expensive. Mr. Cothron was instrumental in our decision to purchase from the Master's Edition as opposed to online. We had rather pay a little more to have his opinion and benefit of his expertise. The purchase was shipped and arrived timely in pristine condition. Will shop here again.

a wonderful & educational experience. the most fun we have ever had spending money!…read more it was our first time making a purchase in liz beth, & we were pleasantly surprised when liz suggested that they, because our vehicle was too small, take a few pieces to our home so that we could get a feel for them in that space. we were not certain what to expect, but we got so much more! liz & bart, her son, came into our home & spent the next 2 hrs or so offering suggestions on art placement, rehanging art & giving us frank opinions. it did not feel like having a salesperson in our home, liz was actually forthright when she felt like something did not fit & bart had some great ideas on the placement of our existing art. their patience was saintly. of the three pieces they brought, we only ended up keeping one, although they allowed us to hold on to the other overnight, to decide. more amazing than the valuable service they provided, was the fact that they didn't charge a dime for the service. about a week later, we had another art dilemma, so of course we headed to liz beth's. liz picked out a piece that i was dubious of. it actually took a while to bring me around. but she taught us that often decor is best viewed through a photograph. after heeding her advice, & the advice of gregg & anne, some furniture was moved & the piece that was suggested was properly placed. the after affect is wonderful, i only regret i did not listen to her sooner! again we had an issue with art placement. we found a piece at liz beth that we loved & brought it home. sadly, although we love the artist, it did not work, so we returned it. but instead of conceding defeat, anne & liz kept providing options until the right piece was found. we are ecstatic with the piece we decided on & more importantly what it has added to our home. our experience with liz beth has been stress & pressure free; more like going to see friends. we have never been encouraged to buy anything. to the contrary, we were often advised to take a piece home, to get a feel for it in the space. at least once, liz has refused to let us pay for something, cautioning us to take more time for consideration. gregg & anne have learned our taste & are always on the lookout for new pieces. thanks to anne, bart, gregg & liz, our home has become a true showplace for some fantastic pieces. if you are in the market for art, or even framing, don't even consider going anywhere else. the true value liz beth provides is an excellent staff with knowledge of art & design & the best customer service we have ever encountered.
