They are falsely advertising that they are selling his paintings for 70% off but when you ask about them they let you know that they only have one "copy" left and two Disney ones on consignment. They're baiting you to come in using the Kinkade name. The salesman does admit that they haven't been a Kinkade gallery in over two years and I asked him why they have not updated yelp and other apps and he said something about that it's a big company and they haven't gotten around to it. The real Kinkade gallery is located in Pigeon Forge only 10 minutes away. Definitely go there because it's absolutely beautiful and they also have Zach Kinkade, his nephew, now doing paintings.

This gallery was…read morewonderfully located in "At The Village" in downtown Gatlinburg, a location that looks like it could have come right out of a Thomas Kinkade painting. The gallery has many smaller rooms once you walk in that can accommodate a large selection of art work. They carry mostly Thomas Kinkade work, but also have smaller collections of local and not so local artist. When you first walk in the gallery has a large selection of all the artwork wraps and prints. Once you venture past the main entrance there are smaller rooms with room to enjoy each piece of art on the walls. They have also installed the lighting needed to fully appreciate the Thomas Kinkade artwork (you can change the lighting and the lighting in the painting changes as well to make a whole new beautiful scene). If you do not get enough out of the first floor, there is an upstairs as well. The only reason that I cannot give the full 5 stars is that the upstairs felt cramped and hard to maneuver around with other people. There were also several paintings that did not have a spotlight shining on them and made them unnoticable.

I love shopping local and supporting artists in the community and this is the perfect place for that. The history behind it is always interesting. She brings her personal experience with natural dyeing and piecing, and a boatload of patience for our many, many questions. She also adapts her lesson plans to the interests of the group, and the strengths and weaknesses of the students in the group. There are six locations around Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg with various names. We had the good fortune to meet art consultant, Ed Cothron. He was very patient and knowledgeable regarding the artists and their works. We purchased a Giclée ( reproduction of an original by the best professional ink jet print with high resolution, color, longevity, and in our case; on canvas ). Generally, one rarely will realize a return on this type of investment; so we purchased for the pleasure of the artist's work. In our case, Rod Chase. I did some research and found the pricing to be consistent with similar online sites. However, the framing was significantly more expensive. Mr. Cothron was instrumental in our decision to purchase from the Master's Edition as opposed to online. We had rather pay a little more to have his opinion and benefit of his expertise. The purchase was shipped and arrived timely in pristine condition. Will shop here again.
