Being from Orlando, the tourist capital of the USA, I am used to very nice hotels and service ( at a high cost), on the same hand while I can afford luxury I am ok with good: Price: You can't beat the price of the room - very fair for what you get, in Florida standards cheap. Location: It is somewhat off the beaten path and in an industrial area, and nearest expressway is about an hour away, but the traffic in Augusta is not bad, so easy to get around and many restaurants not to far from the hotel. Ammenities: I stayed on the Parliament side in a newly remodeled room ( highly suggest staying on that side as more to do and nicer rooms with a gated resort which felt safer. They have a small Cafe, 2 bars, a pool ( which was being painted on a weekend ?????) , a bathhouse ( need to clean the steam room), yet unlike Florida everyone walked around dressed, and another thing they called the pig pen, which was nice. Besides the Capri lounge my favorite part of the weekend was the fire pit on Friday and Saturday night, just a bunch of nice people having a great time and some free snacks and drinks. People: When I went it was a slow weekend, so mostly locals that lived in the trailer park next door. The crowd was older, some hot younger guys, but everyone was so nice. If you are going for *** it is readily available, however have an open mind as not everyone looks like a model from Miami Beach, but they are super friendly. Rooms : I stayed in room 1 on the parliament side, great room, lots of windows and remodeled, Small Fridge and Microwave ( no coffee pot , so bring one ) and the shower had water pressure that would blow the paint off of your car ( I loved it ) - The other hotel is just being remodelded. I would give the rooms a 10 ( just add one more chair in the front for the guest in the room ). Staff: I did not run into anyone that I can complain about, everyone was super friendly. Bars: I only made it to the Capri and looked in the other bar, both very nice and fair drink prices ( 4 dollars during happy hour and 6 after for White claws), the bartenders were very friendly, esspecially Cody and the female ( brain fart ) were exceptional. Overall I had a great time, but then again I can fit in with the richest or poorest of people, so I will come back in the future. I hear the events are packed there. Thank you for a good time.

However, due to unfortunately due to car trouble, my 4 hr. stay turned into an extended stay. The staff was phenomenal. From the management to the housekeepers; they made me feel welcome and were eager to make sure I had everything I needed. A staff member even volunteered to go to store for me. At no time was I disturbed and was able to get some much needed rest. The grounds are well kept, it's located in the woods, so you're surrounded by nature. And it's surprisingly quiet. The highlight of my visit: Not realizing that I'd dropped my ring until housekeeping returned it to me. Wow! I'd highly recommend the Ashley.

Me and my girlfriend are both travel nurses and have been here for almost 10months now and we love it. They have a wash house where you can do your clothes and a dog park. They also have a nice little antique store that the park is behind that is nice. We work nights and Roy is nice enough to wait until we are off before mowing around the camper so he doesn't wake us. He's always keeping an eye out for anything odd and he also screens everyone who comes to stay in the park so chances of getting bad neighbors is unlikely. They have pretty much spoiled us on our stay here! Totally recommend!

Overall, Aiken Luxury Rentals has been amazing, Bill and Simmie have been incredibly welcoming. The property is ideally located close to downtown, within 5-minute walking distance of the wonderful Hitchcock woods (I took walks there every morning before work). They have several rental units to choose from, from stand-alone cottages to on-property lofts, apartments and housing units. They are the first people I call whenever my wife and I need a place to stay, like in 2012 when our house was being remodeled; or when we have friends and family visit for special events, like the Masters Golf Tournament and the Spring Steeplechase. I have personally spent time in La Petit Apartment, the Loft, the Gate House, the Laundry House and some of their other properties and totally enjoy the experience every time I stay at one of their locations. Locally owned and operated, the owners have received several awards from the City of Aiken for their successful restorations and improvements on many properties; most notably their work in Kershaw Square and others in the downtown area. The owners are very friendly, hard-working people who always treat my wife and I like royalty and make sure that all of our needs are met whenever we stay with them or have friends and family rent from them when they are in town. All of their rental units I've spent time in are tastefully furnished and come outfitted with only the best accessories. The kitchens are outfitted with Viking appliances and fully equipped to start cooking the moment you check in. Real hardwood floors and paneling are among the many luxury features of the properties I've visited. They have a variety of rental plans and they've always worked with me to tailor lease agreements based on my wife and I's individual needs. Most, if not all, of their rental properties come with WiFi Internet access, cable TV and other amenities available in the lease package. In addition, they employ a cleaning, maintenance and IT staff to help support them in keeping their properties running at peak effectiveness and cleanliness. They are a real class act!
