My card was charged and they wrote "No show" on the receipt. I tried to schedule a couple's massage as a gift, but the website only allowed me to register 2 individual massages, which I did. However, they set up two different times. When calling the business, their mailbox is full, so I couldn't get in touch with them to clarify. However, I sent many emails that were not responded to. They did reply to a google review. The 2nd massage was never accepted by their website system, so there was never any confirmation. Yet, they still charged my card. I am a bit frustrated as I wish communication was clearer and the website reservation system worked better. I reached out to get a refund processed and will update my review accordingly if/when they process the refund. read more

Mario and Darrell were awesome! My boyfriend and I decided to get massages last minute and they didn't have any times available for a couple's massage, so we booked chair massages instead to just work on our backs. Darrell called me personally and said there was an issue with the online scheduler so they actually couldn't fit us in that day, so I asked about the rest of the week. He called me back after looking at the schedule and said he and Mario would make it work and fit us in just before they closed for the day! They went ahead and gave us table massages too and only charged us for chair massages since that's what we had scheduled. I had Darrell and he was great at helping with a strain I had in my neck. Went in for a couples massage. The guy massaging my girlfriend (Mario) rubbed her nipples, which you legally need written consent for in SC, and also in most states that allow touching of the breasts during a massage. He did not receive written consent. You do not need to be touching my girlfriends nipples. My female massage therapist didn't touch my nipples at all. Why does this guy need to touch my girlfriends nipples at any point for her to have a massage? We called them and got a refund, and he was coincidentally the one who answered. He admitted he knew the law, admitted he should have gotten written consent, and didn't fight us at all about getting our refund. He literally admitted that he knew -- and broke -- the law. He admitted that inappropriately touched my girlfriend sexually without proper consent. It was her first time ever getting a massage, she doesn't know what to do or what's going to happen, and their website even asks you if you ever had a massage before. She said "no". After the massage was done and we said how it was her first massage, they were both surprised. Why are they surprised? We told you before hand that she never had a massage. What's the point in answering those questions if they don't even take them into account? Most states don't even allow the breasts to be touched during a massage. Even fewer legally allow rubbing of the nipples.That's not a massage at that point. There are no muscles in the nipples. You're just sexually stimulating someone at that point for your own sick desire, unless the woman needs massage therapy for her nipples after having a child and her milk glands need assistance in producing milk. This man literally legally sexually assaulted my girlfriend, during a couples massage, while I was laying right there next to her. You need written consent to touch the breasts, he did not have written consent. The reason you need written consent is because no one comes into a massage feeling dominant. You expect them (the massage therapist) to know what to do. You listen to them. You do as they say. That's why the massage therapist needs to legally let them know BEFOREHAND, not while they are laying there naked and vulnerable on your bed, "I am going to rub your breasts and your nipples, are you okay with this?". Had there been an option for written consent, I guarentee he would not have rubbed my girlfriends tits, right next to me, illegally, during a couples massage, without written consent -- because I would have shut that crap down before it was even a possibility. I've been big into self-care these past few years, and massage therapy has significantly helped my self-care and wellness journey. I found Master's Touch via a search and enjoyed a relaxing 60-minute Swedish Massage by Darell. I am so grateful that I found this business and was able to snag a last-minute appointment. This business is conveniently located in the heart of Downtown Columbia and has plenty of parking in the rear of the building. Upon entering, your temperature is taken, and you are directed to your room. The set-up is very quaint. Since this was my first time at the studio, Darell asked some general questions about pressure and any areas that bothered me. On to the massage... OMG heavenly. Darell's technique is amazing, and he used the right amount of pressure. He also checked in with me during the massage to make sure the pressure was okay. Oh, and the music was bomb. I enjoyed the playlist. My only regret is not finding out about Master's Touch when first arriving in Columbia! I've been touched by the Master's! Got a deep tissue massage from Anitra Jenkins today and what can't I say about it (and yes you read that right)! I can't say that the experience was just good because it was GREAT! I can't say ahhhh the massage was just aight! I would be lying because it was WONDERFUL! Anitra knows her stuff, is very friendly and pays attention to your needs. Now my back is unforgiving. It can breakdown most massage therapists in a single bound. Oh but not her! My back have much respect and feels good! Lol. In all seriousness though, I loved the atmosphere, the massage and the fact that it's a black owned business made it even better for me.
