I'd hit something on the road, a piece of steel that lodged inside my brake drum? Or was it an internal part that broke off??? A burst of fire, then smoke, then, screw it... Whatever it was, my wheels hadn't fallen off, so, l just kept driving my new 5.7l Hemi Dodge Durango. It was Thanksgiving night 2018 and everything was closed. I turn up the sound, Googled "trailer repair Oklahoma City" and headed straight there. Booking a hotel room, I called them the next morning and talked to Paul. Paul listened to my story and told me no problem, he could fix it. By that time the squealing noise, screeching from that trailer wheel was unbearable, but I dragged it to Terry's Trailers, unhitched and left it with Paul. Long story short, they removed the wheel, and drum. Everything was mangled, the brake pads were gone, the shoes were wrapped in a ball, the brake plate was bent and the bolts had fused. 5 hours later after 2 phone calls and 5 texted photos of the mangled parts, my trailer was back on the road. Thanks to Terrys Trailers, Paul and his crew. These guys know their stuff. Their prices are fair and they were quick. I can't recommend them enough. They saved the day and put me back on the road. Not only did they have the best prices around, but they also waited on me to arrive to pick them up. They were not mounted, which was a slight problem for me. However, they informed me that they had a dealership where we were headed, and that if I was able to have the set there, first thing in the morning, they would get it done for me. So, we showed up to Jones offroad & Marine in Afton at 8 AM the next morning, they start putting the wheels & tires together. We ran into a major issue; the wheels were marked wrong on the box from the manufacture. Wille at Jones Offroad & Marine called the owner and let him know the big issue, without hesitation the OWNER sends a guy from Jones to Grand Lake with the right wheels, has them put together and then brings them to us at our campsite that is well over 30 minutes from the Grand Lake store. Not only did Jones Offroad save our trip, but they also earned a lifelong customer that will send them business for anything offroad or marine related. So, when you have a car issue, you are looking for a quick fix at a cheap price, and will probably…read morebe pretty grumpy about having to spend money on an unplanned repair. That's me. Blew the oil filter cap / oil cooler on my 2015 Jeep (common issue), and went in to have that replaced, AND threw in a 100k mile service - since they were gonna be in that part of the engine anyway. Pros: - Mechanic was super fast and super friendly. Was able to do the entire job in about three working hours, when several YouTube mechanics suggested it would be about ten hours. AWESOME!!! - Price per-hour for labor was about HALF of what the mechanics at other places charge. AWESOME!!! - Place was easy to find, had a waiting area with a Sasquatch statue, and had a McDonalds next door if you got hungry while waiting. Cons: - The receptionist / admin clerk is super friendly; but was not technical enough to understand the work I wanted done, what parts and labor that work included, and how to accurately reflect all of that on my invoice (there were a few mistakes). This is common in many non-dealership garages. Dealerships I have been to tend to have a mechanic who can discuss the mechanical shenanigans with you at the reception desk. - The McDonalds next door smelled like a sewer inside their entryway. Has nothing to do with the Iron Goat business. Just letting you know in case you decide to grab an egg mcmuffin while you wait on your oil change. Bottom line: I will go there again, and highly recommend this place for other Jeepers in the OKC area. If you have a complex job, I would just make sure to specify everything you want in detail prior to and during the service, and then scrutinize the invoice prior to paying it.

Upon picking it up we discovered they had replaced the owning with a smaller, much cheaper one leaving original owning holes visible. Worse they decided to relocate the switch used to operate the owning to ridiculous location. Common sense should have told the person installing the switch it was too high for a 5' tall person to reach. When we addressed the switch being relocated, and to a height that is tough to reach, we were told we could pay more money and they would wire it to the original location. We were quoted, and we paid to have a factory owning (or at least the same size) installed but got a shorter, cheaper version unprofessionally installed with the switch for it randomly placed where it was easiest to install instead of it's appropriate location. Summary; this business has terrible customer service and operates unethically. Choose somewhere else to get your vehicles worked on.

I've sent trucks in for repair that came back broken. When I look at the ticket, it says that they were unable to verify the issue. Unable to verify that the ignition was broken? Really? I didn't have any problem verifying that it was still broken when I picked up the truck. When I took the truck back, I asked the service adviser what the issue with the broken part was only to be palmed off on the cashier to explain to me what the service department did to fix my truck. Really? The service department isn't all underwhelming. The last two times I took my truck in for a repair, I was directed through the Fast Lane. Honestly, I felt relieved that I wouldn't have to go through their standard service advisers because I didn't think I could make another pass through there and maintain my sanity. The service staff in the Fast Lane are always very friendly and very interested in ensuring that I get my truck repaired correctly every time. They're also very good about keeping me informed about what's happening with my truck, which I sincerely appreciate. I'm fine with whatever they must do to repair my truck as long as they fix it and I don't have to make two or three trips back, but the communication with the dealership is always very nice because it allows me to plan more appropriately when the repair is complete. Honestly, the Fast Lane is the only reason I still use Reynolds Ford service. Were it not for them, I'd most likely find another dealer to service my truck while it's under warranty.
