I was giving him the cash and he asked if I received a text. I said, "yes, after I walked and got the cash already." He took it as me having attitude and backed out of the original deal he offered us. He agreed for us to put half down and make payments and then told us to get out of the shop, he's closed, and until I had the full amount, the car would have to sit there. 3 people in my household use that vehicle for work. I used my last money to get an uber and he knew it. He left us stranded there. He took his stress and frustration of previous customers out on us unnecessarily. I had to scrounge money for an Uber, call family to help with getting the vehicle out, spent $60 in Uber fees, and was 3 hrs late to work. My son also had to call an Uber to go to work because the owner can't control his anger. Poor management skills! Neither my partner or I raised our voice, cussed at him or was angry. I was frustrated that I had to waste time to walk if he was willing to take cash app from the start in that situation. We were repeat customers and he has previously been good to us and we even hunted him down to make payments to ensure he had them. Now, I'll never use him again or recommend him after what he put my family through. All bc others haven't paid him on time and he "has 7 kids to feed". Maybe take care of the customers that HAVE been good to your business and you wouldn't be in this situation. Definitely needs lessons on business management and communication.

Not only did they have the best prices around, but they also waited on me to arrive to pick them up. They were not mounted, which was a slight problem for me. However, they informed me that they had a dealership where we were headed, and that if I was able to have the set there, first thing in the morning, they would get it done for me. So, we showed up to Jones offroad & Marine in Afton at 8 AM the next morning, they start putting the wheels & tires together. We ran into a major issue; the wheels were marked wrong on the box from the manufacture. Wille at Jones Offroad & Marine called the owner and let him know the big issue, without hesitation the OWNER sends a guy from Jones to Grand Lake with the right wheels, has them put together and then brings them to us at our campsite that is well over 30 minutes from the Grand Lake store. Not only did Jones Offroad save our trip, but they also earned a lifelong customer that will send them business for anything offroad or marine related. Calvin's Wrecker Service and Mike were assigned. Mike came as fast as he could from Shamrock, and was in constant communication with me. Mike assessed the situation, but couldn't change my flat as I didn't have the right equipment. Mike towed my car back into Bristow with me and my dog, stopped at a motel so I could check in so I could have a safe place to stay overnight, dropped off my car at Bristow Tire and secured it, and dropped my dog and I back off at the Bristow motel, all the while ensuring my dog and I were comfortable, warm and safe. My experience is that AAA picked a great vendor and gets great value from Calvin's Wrecker Service and Mike. Called AAA at 7:59am and this company was dispatched to change a flat tire, was told they'd be there at 9:30 at the latest by AAA. Was relieved as I was traveling with my 3 children and was stranded in the Oklahoma heat. At 9:19am someone from this wrecking service and told me he was "about to leave" and told me he was going to have to charge any toll fees to me and asked if I still wanted him to come out, "yes, of course, please hurry" I said. About 10am someone showed up in an older, beat up small pickup truck. No problem, just needed him to change the flat. He gets out of his truck and the first thing he says is "you're going to be charged for the tolls fees" and asked me some to the effect of "do you still want me to change the tire, because you owe the toll fees". Flabbergasted and knowing the toll fees would amount to no more than $2-3 for his round trip from Bristow to Stroud and back to Bristow, I joked "hmm..no please just leave me stranded here on the road". My husband was there by that point to get me and our babies out of the heat; as I was walking past the service guy to my husbands car, again he was talking about the tolls fees with my husband. I said to him we already said that's fine, and he said "you're a basic AAA member maam. you have to pay the tolls fees". I was amazed..no one argued about toll fees with him, I Dont believe he wanted to change the tire. It was really bizarre. I see on my credit card statement today that he charged us $15.75 for toll fees on top of the payment he received from AAA. See the chart below for the tolls fees charged by the state on this route. With a pikepass it would be $2.60 for the round trip, without a pikepass it would be $3.50. I've already reported this to AAA and will be contesting with my credit card company as well. Shockingly dishonest, no integrity. I would never recommend them to anyone.

We went back and forth on the phone and I told him I would come get it. Picked up my fork and when I got home noticed my right fork was also leaking. So $460 I an back where I start and have to pay someone else to do a job I done paid for.
