Stopped here on our way back from Tacoma. This was the closest one we could find on Yelp while we were on I-5. When we stopped, it was time for an early dinner. This place was just getting ready for the evening business. No customers at the point. We got a comfortable corner booth. There are no menus; have to scan the QR code to access the online menu. We ordered Street Style Noodles, Malabar Fish Curry, Masala Dosa and chai. They informed us about the wait time as they have to prepare the food fresh and we were fine with that. They served the food in around 20 minutes. The Dosa arrived first, followed by the Noodles and the Fish curry. The Dosa served with the chutneys and sambar was delectable. Malabar fish curry surprised us. Rarely that flavor is rightly picked. This was spot on and along with the rice served - quite appetizing as well. The noodles didn't disappoint either. Fresh from the pan - picked the right flavors of Indian Street style. In short a great dinner for us. Really enjoyed it. We stopped here without any expectations and walked out quite happily. Will visit again when we goes to ikea next time. Recommended.

    onion dosa

We came here because the Ikea restaurant closed early and we read the other rave reviews about the biryani here. Turns out the Ikea closure was a blessing in disguise because the biryani here is not only the best biryani we've had but perhaps one of the best rice-based dishes we've had across all cuisines. We ordered the 65 chicken biryani, the chicken tandoori kebab and onion dosa. Everything was delicious. I probably would try the plain dosa next time but otherwise very happy with the food. The kebab was very flavorful and especially nice on the sizzling platter. Dosa came with coconut and tomato chutney. The coconut one was very mild but the tomato one had excellent flavor. It was enough food to feed the four of us with a bit of leftover to take home. The server was nice and patient as we took some time to decide on the order. Restaurant vibe is casual and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Food taste was very bad. The place and utensils did not look hygenic either. Eat at your own risk of falling sick.

My family and I loooooove the food here, and it's always fresh, flavorful, and full of authentic taste. I'm a frequent guest, and the owners know me personally. They are some of the kindest people I've ever met and always show amazing hospitality and customer service. I've been coming to this restaurant for years, and it honestly amazes me that despite how I come every blue moon and how reasonable their prices are, the owners still remember me by name. You can truly tell they care about their customers and put love into both their food and their business. I had the Lamb Sadabahar, and it was absolutely delicious tender, well-seasoned, rich in flavor, and cooked perfectly. Every dish I've tried here has been consistently good. The portions are generous, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the experience always feels like home. If you're looking for authentic Indian food with incredible flavor, great prices, and genuine hospitality, Indian Curry Palace is definitely a place I recommend. 5/5 every time.

Now that I've moved away from Seattle, I still make it out to Spice King in Renton at least once a week. The food is amazing, and with how challenging and chaotic the economy has been lately, the prices are refreshingly affordable. I also love supporting small businesses. As a former chef myself, I know firsthand how much work and preparation goes into putting together a daily lunch menu. This is a wonderful place to eat, and they cater for parties too. The food is always well seasoned. If you're ever in the Seattle area -- including their downtown locations -- this is a spot you can't go wrong stopping by.

Opted for one side of rice and 2 sides of roti, which were included with the entrees. The spice levels were accurately graded and I felt like the level 3 was a true medium heat, and level 4 was medium-hot. Enough to make you sweat a little. While this place does not dethrone my favorite go-to spot, they did a good job and all the flavors were rich, complex, and meats were cooked well. The lamb curry was my favorite of the lot, and I liked the spiced rice more than the plain roti but it was all delicious - no complaints!

I thought the pricing was a little bad though, I mean it's pretty good food but it's in the realm of $20 per meal when the quality is just on par with the above-average Seattle restaurant. The staff are friendly and the restaurant is semi-modern, kind of like a stone slab sort of vibe, it's pretty clean though. We went on a weekend, which was a plus since the area tends to be quite empty on weekends. We ordered the chicken Karahi, goat curry and a pea curry (methi malai). The chicken Karahi was not at all like the ones I've had in other Indian restaurants, which is dry-sauteed, which when ordered in other restaurants, they would specifically say that this is a "dry" dish with no gravy. However, this chicken Karahi had a lot of gravy, which was unexpected. The taste wasn't bad, but it was different from what I was used to. The goat curry was just ok, as expected. and the pea curry had more gravy than usual and the taste was not great but good for naan dipping. Overall, the restaurant didn't satisfy my craving for Indian food. I'll have to find another restaurant that will satisfy my craving. I probably won't be back, but at least I gave it a try.
