    Garlic naan

Solid happy hour experience in the Renton Landing! Food: The food here is very solid and flavorful. I thought the flatbread was a great value, and the chicken was extremely tender and flavorful. There was also a selection of sauces that was given to us, and each was very good. Price: I would say the prices here are a little higher than I expect when eating happy hour, but considering the modern ambiance and prime location I'm not mad at it Ambiance: The restaurant is very clean and modern. There's also a full bar area with high top seating and TVs around which had the world cup on Service: The staff here was kind. One thing I thought was kind of odd is that we had to ask for the happy hour menu specifically even though we were within happy hour times

Great service, great ambiance, and great food! This was my first time trying pani poori after months of searching and it didn't disappoint. I really like the way they display the food. The sauces were these in cute little cylinder vials and the balls were adequately filled with chickpeas and veggies! Literally a mouthful! Chicken tikka masala is good as it could get. Spice level 3 was perfect, it's got the good heat and kick! The garlic naan was amazing, you can't go wrong with it.

Came here for a casual dinner. The ambience is nice and inviting. They had some unique appetizers. 5/5 Rasgulla chaat - uniquely sweet n chatpata. Good to try. 5/5 Achari Soya Chaap - this is unbelievably the best dish. I forgot this was vegetarian for a second, so good and tangy. 4/5 Zaika Paneer - above average dish and had nicely cooked paneer. Overall recommend.

Visited here as an Uber driver raved about. Said "best in Seattle m." So we jumped on it. Service excellent. Setting nice. Pricing fair. Food - disappointing. We ordered 3 different curries. All were VERY sweet. Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken were identical. Chicken tough. Paneer ok. Naan excellent. Won't be back.

Saturday early afternoon - last day of my visit to Renton. I wanted a good meal for lunch. I searched Yelp for nearby restaurants that were open at that time and came across Clove. I believe it had just opened for the day when I arrived. A party if two went in before me. I was promptly seated. The place is classy! The decor is rich and uplifting. I was served a glass of water and placed my order. Goat biryani, garlic naan and mango lassi. I ordered spice level 3 but the server put it as 2. Spice level 2 was perfect for me. The goat meat was fresh and tasty ( but with bones but enough meat too). The mango lassi was divine! Best mango lassi I have had (and I have had many)! Service was attentive. I will return next time I am in the area.

We had such a great time at Clove. First, our family was enthusiastically greeted by Francisco, the manager and entertainer extraordinaire. He introduced himself to my kiddos, and even remembered their names throughout the evening when he stopped by our table. The service was stellar, and that was just the tip of the iceberg. We aren't massive consumers of Indian food but we do love to try a lot of things, so we tried the pani puri (not pictured 'cuz we ate them before I remembered I wanted to take pics), my kiddos devoured their butter chicken, I got paneer tikka masala, and my husband had chicken madras. As much rice as you need comes with it, and we also got two orders of naan (I wish I would've gotten 3 so I could have taken some home!). They clearly are used to people taking leftovers (their portions are great!) so they also gave us an extra serving of rice to go home when we boxed up our mains. We also ended the evening with some Indian cheesecake (not pictured cuz my kids couldn't wait!), and malai kulfi falooda (I have decided sweet cold noodles aren't my thing but my husband loved it). Overall, the vibes were great, the restaurant was huge (and so many people were coming and going!), the staff was amazing, and the experience was top notch. Would recommend and looking forward to going again!

This is a beautiful restaurant with a large seating area with some more private spaces and a large bar area. We were greeted promptly, servers were friendly and offered suggestions. As we chatted they mentioned other sister restaurants to try. We ordered a couple mango lassi, the spicy chat, lamb Rogan Josh and chicken tikka masala and butter tandoori roti. The dishes came with a generous side of basmati rice. The portions were large with a lot of sauce to dip your roti in. Flavors were amazing, the medium spice level we ordered was perfect for us. We loved every bite and had a lot to take home for later. Really enjoyed the experience and food and will be back for more!

Large, modern looking place at the landing for Indian food! The space is dark and warm, and accommodates a lot of people. I came in on a Sunday for dinner, and waited about 5 minutes? Ended up sitting at the bar. My friend and I shared the pani puri, garlic naan, and chicken saag. Pani puri came prefilled with the sauces in little test tubes on the side haha. Presentation definitely interesting, but i could see a bunch of spices settled at the bottom, so I wish we could've mixed it around without having to create a mess lol The chicken saag (level 2) was super flavorful with a baby amount of spice. I definitely could've done a 3/4. The chicken pieces were also really tender. Garlic naan was fresh as well. Not super doughy, but good all the same. Overall, a solid spot. The food was definitely sufficient for 2 people to share. Service was also pretty quick as well. Would come again if I was in the area!

Great food with generous portions. We went home with leftovers. The chai old fashioned was a great take on a classic. Our waiter was fun. He didn't think I was drinking enough :)

Tried Clove Indian Cuisine and honestly had a great experience. It's a modern Indian restaurant with a nice vibe and plenty of seating, so it didn't feel cramped even though it was pretty busy. We started with drinks and ordered the Cardamom Rose Martini and the Blood & Blanco. Both the cocktails were really unique. The cardamom one especially had this really nice balance of floral + spice. For appetizers, we got the Tandoori - Ajwaini Shrimp, and Chicken Malai Tikka. Everything came out hot and flavorful, but the standout for me was definitely the Ajwaini Shrimp - super unique flavor and something I'd absolutely recommend trying. Our server, Teja, suggested most of these dishes and he was genuinely friendly and really knowledgeable about the menu, which helped a lot. For mains, we shared the Zaika Shahi Paneer and the Latpata Chicken. Both leaned more toward a North Indian flavor profile, rich, creamy gravies with lots of depth. I didn't get to try any dessert this time. If you're in the area and want good Indian food that stays true to classic flavors but also has a modern twist in some dishes, this place is definitely worth checking out.

When it comes to Indian food in Seattle I don't have very high expectations but Clove is changing that for me. Maybe it's the fact that it's in Renton lol. This is my second time eating at Clove and just like the first timel I was blown away. I had their Vada Pav and it instantly reminded me of back home.. like the true Bombay street style flavor, crispy and comforting. I also ordered the Chicken Malai Kabab which literally melted in my mouth.. so tender and yum. All the chutneys that came with it were delicious too. Chicken madras was another banger.. you can really taste the curry leaves.. the flavor really came through it.. super authentic and tasty. Rumali roti was very fresh too. The vibe is more on the fine dine side but not pretentious. Staff is sweet, attentive and just overall good energy. Clove, please don't change. You're officially my go to Indian spot in the Seattle/Renton area now!

My faveeeee Indian spot!!! Truly ! My first time coming I met this older gentleman who has a great personality on him, my friend had to take a pic with him. Next time we came we were looking for him but found out he moved out the state. We were devastated. However I've came many times after and met Abhay, who is just as sweet and makes great cocktails !!! Food is spectacular. Ofc I'm obsessed with my butter chicken but I always try to pair it with something new every time I come. I tried Latpata Chicken twice now and is soooo good 8.5/10. A bit more on the spicer end. Most recently I tried Karahi Chicken which was flavor full but ok. 6/10. Not sure what didn't make it great but the chicken was very juicy! Mango chkn curry was good but I can't have a lot of it 7/10. Fries were nice and the sauces were interesting. Really nice mixed together. However those crunchy balls thatu fill with soup - Gol Gappa Pani Puri was actually nasty.. I hated it. One was orly sweet n tangy n the other was watery in the sense of flavor. Idk how to explain it but I can say I am not a fan. The hype is not worth it. Love the garlic naan and my peach lemon drop! Lastly, love the aesthetic of the place. Very clean and spacious. Love the color in there and I love the bar area. I feel like it not very common to have a full bar at an Indian restaurant so I was very pleased. The night time lighting is beautiful! I'm excited to try more and expand my taste buds!

The service here was terrific for us. They even educated us on some of the differences between Pakistani and Indian cuisine. It was a carry-out only for us. The food was hit or miss with me. The Biryani was alright but nothing I would ever order. What I sampled was way too spicy for me and just not my flavour. The kabob were some of the best I've tasted in this city, especially the lamb. Top notch. The Lamb Nihari was very tender, as was the Keema (with peas). The star of the show today was the Haleem. Call it a Pakistani porridge consisting of slow cooked spiced mutton, lentils and barley. A true delicacy! The place is quite pricey, even for the Seattle area. The portions are larger. Just know in advance you might want to share or count on leftovers for tomorrow's lunch! 06/25

I rarely visit vegetarian restaurants, so I ordered based on the pictures on the menu. I wanted to try the Purple Yam Soup after the server confirmed that it would be very fulfilling, but they came back and said it wasn't available that day. One member of the group is vegetarian, hence a reason why we ended up going to a vegetarian restaurant for our first meal during our trip. Blossom Vegetarian is located on the southwest corner of 3rd and Burnett. We came in three cars, and the lot immediately in front of the restaurant can only hold about a dozen cars. The adjacent lot has more spots, but all three of us were able to find spots easily when we arrived. That's likely because we had arrived a few minutes prior to opening, so the door was locked when I tried to open it. Right at 11 AM, an employee came out with a signicade to place in front of the front door. Shortly afterwards, we entered and sat at a table for 8, which I found kind of odd because they had tables of 4 and 8, but not 6. Our table had a sign advertising a limited time special, which was Hanoi Beef Fried Rice at the time*. However, we were interested in the lunch specials, which were available weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Knowing that our schedule wouldn't have allowed for a lunch special any other time during our trip, we went for lunch specials, which mainly consists of rice combos. Rice combos at Blossom Cafe come with rice, either jasmine or brown, the latter of which would incur a $1 upcharge. The combo also includes an option for a juice or coffee, and if you choose either, you get $1 off. With plenty of rice combos to choose from, two of them chose the same lunch combo while the rest of us went with different lunch combos, but shared family-style with one another. I chose the Blossom Rice Combo, which consists of shredded "pork", tofu pie, "beef" skewer, and vegetables alongside a lime vinaigrette dressing. I'm not too certain of the other combos, but I do know that the Cashew Chicken was another combo, and that's because one of my groupmates heard it was their most popular dish. Since I prefer brown rice over white (jasmine) rice, I opted for the $1 upcharge for the brown rice. Between the coffee and the juice, I went with a coffee since I was needing some after a long morning of traveling. They have four choices of Vietnamese Coffee: Cheese Cafe, Cafe Latte, Dalgona Cafe, and Cafe Sua. I went with the Cafe Latte, which consists of both condensed and whole milk. The coffee drinks can come either hot or iced. For whatever reason, everybody else ordered the iced drinks, but I went with hot knowing I'd have to brave the pretty chilly weather outside. It took about 13 minutes for the kitchen to prepare our orders, and then we feasted! The coffee was ready about a minute before the main dishes arrived. Everything tasted good, but I wouldn't say great, though that's probably because I'm not vegetarian. However, rest assured that all their meats aren't real meat, and this is indicated by the use of quotation marks encompassing the meat names. You can definitely tell these meats are truly vegetarian, though it took a few bites for me to discern the vegetarianism of the "beef" skewer. The brown rice tasted kind of odd. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it was way different than the brown rice I'm used to e.g. Flame Broiler. The rice tasted pretty meh by itself, but exhibited a much more elevated flavor profile after adding the lime vinaigrette, which I'm thinking was actually a fish sauce. But that Cafe Latte was smoooooooooooth. Just what I needed after not getting enough z's the previous evening. Since I ordered mine hot, my coffee came in a mug while the others who ordered iced coffee got theirs in a wine glass. These coffees supplemented the glasses of water we were given when we placed our orders. Service, unfortunately, was quite slow, so exercise patience! We were the first customers to eat there, and there were a few others who came in after we did. We stayed there for over an hour even though I think we could have gotten in and out in much less time. They didn't really check on us even though there were very few other customers inside as well; I guess we were supposed to proactively go up to the counter to let them know when we were ready to order as well as pay. 2026 calendars were available for purchase at a cost of $20, cash only. I don't know how many people would constitute a "large" party, but we were considered one, which resulted in an 18% gratuity fee that was already added to our individual bills. One of our groupmates, who was fluent in Vietnamese, needed to let the server know prior to paying. So overall, Blossom Vegetarian is a decent spot for vegetarians; I just wouldn't recommend for a quick lunch break since service is nowhere near as quick. * My visit was back in November. I waited until January to post this review as I took a brief hiatus from posting reviews upon traveling to the Pacific Northwest.
