Ordered the chicken tikka level 3 spice and spinach na'an. I think they forgot my rice but that's okay. The chicken was tough and a little dry but the sauce was flavorful and super spicy. The mint chutney had a funny aftertaste and I ended up tossing it. The na'an was good, little soggy because I got it to go but not bad overall.

Chicken Tikka Masala with garlic naan

Located inside the DK Market, this spot is easy to drive past. Glad a co worker told me about it. There are a couple tables inside if you want to eat but I decided to get my order to go. I got the chicken tikka masala, jasmine rice, and some garlic naan. There is actually enough food to feed two people. The tikka masala was piping hot even after I got back to my work site. The flavor was fantastic. Dare I say, the best I've ever had. Yes!! The garlic naan was just fluffy and garlic flavored enough to not overpower my meal. I have to come back to try some other dishes. Don't sleep on this place. If you're near here, you gotta make a trip to get some real good Indian food.

I have been grocery shopping at the market here for years and always pass this restaurant by. Well, no more. We popped in today and were hit in the face with a wave of the most amazing smelling Indian food. Well lit clean, surprisingly large inside and smelling great. What else could I want? The menu is decently sized to cover all the flavors, proteins and size of appetite. We started with an order of veggie pakoras, and then both got a wrap with paneer and chicken. Also in the wrap was lettuce, peas, rice, and the best sauce. I don't know what it was exactly, but it was herby and thick and everything I could want. The wraps are massive. Like, as big as my face. I took half home for dinner (it was just as good cold, btw). The lady behind the counter was so nice, and very attentive to the space. She knew ingredients to everything made in house, which I greatly appreciate as someone who has to keep an eye out for allergens. This may be the next "must stop" when I am shopping and will surely be the newest addition to the "get something for the significant other also because they will smell it on you and you can't hide it" list.

The lamb Tikka masala is so tender and delicious! The vegetable pakoras were much more delightful than I had anticipated!

This is a small place with decent number of tables near the DK International Market. They have an order and sit-down kind of system. I loved that they checked on our preferred spice levels while taking the order. Paneer Naan - 5/5. Good amount of grated paneer filling. The kid relished it. Big portion too. Chole Bhaturey - 4/5. Huge portion size! It was delicious when had piping hot. Bhatura wasn't excessively greasy, the chole was spicy like I had requested. It was tasty no doubt, but not the best chole I've had. Goat biryani - 3/5. Decent biryani, nothing much to add. Tandoori chicken - 2.5/5. Served sizzling hot on a cast iron plate with some onions and peppers to compliment. The usage of food color was a turn off for me personally. The meat could've been more tender, it was on the chewy side specially the thigh pieces. Overall, this is a good place to satisfy your Indian food cravings. The prices are also very reasonable for the portion size.

Special Veg Thali

Spice King is a nice place to stop by and get a bite to eat. I was pressed for time during my last visit so I just ordered a Thali and sweet lassie. Thali was fresh and had a good assortment. Naan bread was warm and very soft. The gal who took my order was super nice and let me substitute the Keer with a Gulab jamun because I was about to order some for a side anyway. The salad is kinda boring. Just shredded lettuce and ranch dressing. Rice was decent, kinda bland but that's fine- just mix it with the other side dishes. Spice King has always been clean inside and I've never had an issue with a dirty table. I just wish they'd bring back the full on dessert case.

Butter chicken, goat Karahi
Iman A.

The butter chicken and goat Karahi are my personal favs. Highly recommended aloo tikka chat or samosa chat. Garlic naan doesn't taste much different than the original naan.

I loved the ambience. The event was also marketing Rupees Beer - a new entry in the market, a company originally based out of East coast but making its presence felt. They have beer based out of Basmati rice and I found the beer to be of really good quality. Very smooth and has a rice after taste. For the food, the samples I tried - appetizers were spot on. Really good appetizers. The Briyani on the other hand was about okay. However this being a fusion Indian restaurant I don't expect lot of authenticity there. The pani puri were interesting but I have had way superior quality in Vancouver - but yeah not a fair comparison. Overall recommend this place.

I could say the food needs more of this or that, but the point is being at a sports bar and having sports bar fun. If your here with some friends to do just that while also enjoying some food, your in for one heck of an experience. During my experience, my servers were pretty spot on with their suggestions for beer and food pairings. I only discovered this because I took their advice first and really enjoyed my food drink combo. Afterwards I tried to come up with my own combo and I didnt like it. Oddly enough other people had the exact combo I didn't like and they said they loved it. With that said, you should understand the vibe. This isnt an all out raging dive bar. Its more gentle and elegant than your average sports bar, but still sporty enough for beer and a few rounds of pool. Like visiting your rich friends gender neutral man cave. I hope I manage to make my way back to this location for more fun and food in the near future.

They checked in on us multiple times. AMBIANCE: fancier-looking inside than you'd think. Very modern and remodeled, suitable if you wanted a higher end interior to look at while you eat! Oh I did find a hair in the chicken of my murgh masala. I didn't tell the staff though because they were so nice and I felt bad but in hindsight I should've said something.

The service here was terrific for us. They even educated us on some of the differences between Pakistani and Indian cuisine. It was a carry-out only for us. The food was hit or miss with me. The Biryani was alright but nothing I would ever order. What I sampled was way too spicy for me and just not my flavour. The kabob were some of the best I've tasted in this city, especially the lamb. Top notch. The Lamb Nihari was very tender, as was the Keema (with peas). The star of the show today was the Haleem. Call it a Pakistani porridge consisting of slow cooked spiced mutton, lentils and barley. A true delicacy! The place is quite pricey, even for the Seattle area. The portions are larger. Just know in advance you might want to share or count on leftovers for tomorrow's lunch! 06/25

I was traveling in a group of 6 to Renton, WA, and we stopped by Blossom Vegetarian as our first…read morestop in the Evergreen State. One member of the group is vegetarian, hence a reason why we ended up going to a vegetarian restaurant for our first meal during our trip. Blossom Vegetarian is located on the southwest corner of 3rd and Burnett. We came in three cars, and the lot immediately in front of the restaurant can only hold about a dozen cars. The adjacent lot has more spots, but all three of us were able to find spots easily when we arrived. That's likely because we had arrived a few minutes prior to opening, so the door was locked when I tried to open it. Right at 11 AM, an employee came out with a signicade to place in front of the front door. Shortly afterwards, we entered and sat at a table for 8, which I found kind of odd because they had tables of 4 and 8, but not 6. Our table had a sign advertising a limited time special, which was Hanoi Beef Fried Rice at the time*. However, we were interested in the lunch specials, which were available weekdays from 11 AM to 2 PM. Knowing that our schedule wouldn't have allowed for a lunch special any other time during our trip, we went for lunch specials, which mainly consists of rice combos. Rice combos at Blossom Cafe come with rice, either jasmine or brown, the latter of which would incur a $1 upcharge. The combo also includes an option for a juice or coffee, and if you choose either, you get $1 off. With plenty of rice combos to choose from, two of them chose the same lunch combo while the rest of us went with different lunch combos, but shared family-style with one another. I chose the Blossom Rice Combo, which consists of shredded "pork", tofu pie, "beef" skewer, and vegetables alongside a lime vinaigrette dressing. I'm not too certain of the other combos, but I do know that the Cashew Chicken was another combo, and that's because one of my groupmates heard it was their most popular dish. Since I prefer brown rice over white (jasmine) rice, I opted for the $1 upcharge for the brown rice. Between the coffee and the juice, I went with a coffee since I was needing some after a long morning of traveling. They have four choices of Vietnamese Coffee: Cheese Cafe, Cafe Latte, Dalgona Cafe, and Cafe Sua. I went with the Cafe Latte, which consists of both condensed and whole milk. The coffee drinks can come either hot or iced. For whatever reason, everybody else ordered the iced drinks, but I went with hot knowing I'd have to brave the pretty chilly weather outside. It took about 13 minutes for the kitchen to prepare our orders, and then we feasted! The coffee was ready about a minute before the main dishes arrived. Everything tasted good, but I wouldn't say great, though that's probably because I'm not vegetarian. However, rest assured that all their meats aren't real meat, and this is indicated by the use of quotation marks encompassing the meat names. You can definitely tell these meats are truly vegetarian, though it took a few bites for me to discern the vegetarianism of the "beef" skewer. The brown rice tasted kind of odd. I don't quite know how to describe it, but it was way different than the brown rice I'm used to e.g. Flame Broiler. The rice tasted pretty meh by itself, but exhibited a much more elevated flavor profile after adding the lime vinaigrette, which I'm thinking was actually a fish sauce. But that Cafe Latte was smoooooooooooth. Just what I needed after not getting enough z's the previous evening. Since I ordered mine hot, my coffee came in a mug while the others who ordered iced coffee got theirs in a wine glass. These coffees supplemented the glasses of water we were given when we placed our orders. Service, unfortunately, was quite slow, so exercise patience! We were the first customers to eat there, and there were a few others who came in after we did. We stayed there for over an hour even though I think we could have gotten in and out in much less time. They didn't really check on us even though there were very few other customers inside as well; I guess we were supposed to proactively go up to the counter to let them know when we were ready to order as well as pay. 2026 calendars were available for purchase at a cost of $20, cash only. I don't know how many people would constitute a "large" party, but we were considered one, which resulted in an 18% gratuity fee that was already added to our individual bills. One of our groupmates, who was fluent in Vietnamese, needed to let the server know prior to paying. So overall, Blossom Vegetarian is a decent spot for vegetarians; I just wouldn't recommend for a quick lunch break since service is nowhere near as quick. * My visit was back in November. I waited until January to post this review as I took a brief hiatus from posting reviews upon traveling to the Pacific Northwest.
