I'm so glad that they've opened another location. This location is larger than the previous one by FMP and has much more seating. In my opinion, ordering right when entering could be improved upon. Other customers will have to wait outdoors while the person using the POS system scrolls through the menu and completes their order. I've found that their matcha lattes are one of the best I've had in the GTA.

Absolutely love the atmosphere love how they have mini booths and tables for you to just sit and mingle and have your drinks and pastry. One suggestion I would say is where they placed the straw and utensils because it's next to their espresso machine. I don't recommend as it might interfere if someone wants me a drink at the same time. And order checks I wish they had other signs up other than the machine that is at door that advises you, you may place online orders by scanning a QR code.

You can order from a screen or QR code inside. It was really cool to see them making the drinks in the middle like a lab. Even though there were a lot of people we surprisingly didn't wait too long for our drinks to be made. A lot of drinks to pick from and desserts to try

Our first visit here was on a weekend. The lineup extended out the door so went back on a Monday hoping it would be better. Located in a nondescript industrial mall on Steelecase in Markham the interior is bigger than it looks from the street. Parking can be tight. Ordering is done via a kiosk right inside the main door. There is only one. You can also order by scanning the bar code which is located further in. Note this is the ONLY way to order. There is no order counter or cashier. As you can expect, menu is extensively matcha but also good options of hojicha drinks and bakery items as well. Once you put your order in, take a seat and wait for your name to be called. There is a generous seating area made up of small booths and bench seating with small tables. Decor is cool and minimalist. There is a counter in the middle where the drinks are made. Depending on how busy it is your drink can take a bit. There is someone that hand whisks the matcha for each drink. The verdict? Quality of the matcha is really good and the strawberry is fresh strawberry purée. Even the hojicha was well roasted and came through, even after mixing with the strawberry. Drinks were good. We would consider returning to try other items.

Went on a Sunday afternoon and it was a bad idea. Long Line up outside of the store so people had to wait in the super cramped parking lot. The parking situation is horrible here. They have awkward parking spots where people have to basically park at an angle with little room to back out from the spots. Customers lining up outside need to be cautious of the ongoing traffic and cars backing out. I'm not sure why they decided to have the POS machine mounted at the storm door area...customers have to wait in line outside of the store before they can order. Once order is placed, the line wraps around the lounge sitting area which is kind of weird for those sitting there. Definitely not a nice sit down spot for chit chats, and better suited as a takeout spot imo. I tried their Matcha Mango drink and their soft serve. I really love their soft serve. One of the best ones I've tried. It was creamy with prominent matcha flavour. The sweetness is also well balanced. Matcha mango was nice. Wish there was more mango flavour, the coconut milk might have diluted some of the mangoes and matcha flavour. Deducted a star due to the parking situation and pricing. Total came to about $20 for these two items. It's definitely an indulgence that I can only treat myself once every so often.

That level of care really comes through in the cup; you can taste the depth and intentionality in every sip. I ordered the vanilla bean iced latte, and it was easily one of the best espresso bases I've had in a while. The shot itself was rich and layered: deep, chocolatey, and nutty striking a really nice balance between bitterness and acidity. It finished with a smooth, almost creamy note that made the whole drink incredibly enjoyable. The only downside is the size-to-price ratio. At around CAD $8.50 for what felt like a 10 oz drink, it's definitely on the pricier side for something that goes down this easily. Still, I'd absolutely come back when I'm in the mood for a more premium coffee experience. (Funny note - the barista and I had a small rant together about how people order "iced cappuccino" and macchiato expecting Starbucks milk sugary drink instead of the "proper" shot with dollop of foam. I understand their pain hahah)

My cousin and I arrived shortly after opening on New Year's Eve. The cafe has a small interior with minimal seating, mostly bench seating along the wall with small round coffee tables. Even though there was only one barista working that morning, she was efficient at taking orders and making drinks despite several orders happening at once. We did not feel like we were waiting very long. I ordered a pour-over with the Finca El Paraiso Peach Colombian beans, which use a thermal shock washed process. That was something I had not heard of before. The tasting notes listed nectarine, tropical fruit, and caramel, and it was recommended since I was looking for something more out of the ordinary. I enjoyed the wilder flavor profile, but it was hard to fully appreciate because the coffee tasted overly diluted. The barista mentioned she used a 15g to 250g bean-to-water ratio, which is higher than how I normally enjoy my pour-overs. My cousin ordered a flat white with whole milk that was very creamy with strong espresso notes. We also ordered a matcha latte for my other cousin, which was apparently too creamy. Overall, the beans themselves were good, but the pour-over leaned watery for my personal preference. The bag of beans used for the pour-over was priced at $32, which is only a bit more than double the cost of the pour-over itself. In hindsight, I felt slightly ripped off and should have just bought the beans instead.

It's more like a roasting factory dedicated to perfecting coffee. I ordered a pot of hand-drip "Melona." The first sip wasn't particularly amazing. But it was very clean. Slowly, the clear fruity aromas of honeydew melon and cantaloupe emerged, not overpoweringly acidic, but rather a gentle, restrained layering. It's the kind of coffee you find yourself drinking the whole pot without even realizing it. The space inside is also a big plus. The front area displays various coffee beans and related products, and a whole wall of transparent glass allows you to see the roasting factory in operation behind it. And their product line is incredibly comprehensive: coffee beans, equipment, instant coffee, canned coffee, espresso, and even ice cream (The most complete I've ever seen) I didn't have time to try many beans today, but I'm already looking forward to the Lychee flavor I'll be ordering in a few weeks More suitable for coffee enthusiasts (especially pour-over lovers) Clean flavor with detail, not the overly pleasing type Perfect for sitting alone for a long time
