Honestly our experience with Matchless was not good. They contacted us a week before our wedding offering us an upgrade to a Bentley from the Jaguar we had booked, because the Bentley had AC. We took the 'upgrade', and then the Bentley broke down 2 blocks into the 1 mile ride between our reception and hotel. Obviously as a vintage car, it had no emergency flashers, so we were sitting in a hot car in the middle of a lane of traffic. Again, I understand the cars are vintage, but we ended up getting picked up by my mother-in-law, and expected they might reach out to us about what happened. They did not, and when we called 3 days later, Diane repeatedly said "you left us there!" as though it was our responsibility, in a wedding gown and tux, to stay in a broken down car when the driver couldn't give us any timeline of what was happening. She also blamed it on the AC, which is frustrating considering we didn't even ask for a car that had that feature. In the end, they only gave us a 50% refund, which is highway robbery for a 2-block ride. Not only would I not use them again, I'm going to tell any engaged friends to not use them as well. For our wedding getaway car my Mom surprised us with an exquisite 58 Bentley from Matchless. It was like a fairy tale! The car was absolutely immaculate, a true stunner. Just as stunning as the car was the service we received from our driver Mr. Jones. He was so courteous and genuinely kind; he made us feel extremely welcome, like we had known him forever. Though it was a relatively short ride from venue to hotel he made sure we got the most of it, even taking us for a scenic cruise through the Bicentennial Mall. Matchless Transportation - Perfect wedding getaway car! - Limos Near Me - Nashville, Tennessee

We used Matchless for our wedding transportation in April 2022. Pros: - The drivers for Matchless are 5 stars! They were so friendly and helpful. Our driver at the end of the night was so lovely, and took us on a special route around the city. If I was purely rating the drivers, I would give 5 stars. - Their selection of vintage cars is pretty incredible! My husband loved getting to pick one out to use as our exit car. Cons: - The person who answers the phone has a very strong attitude, and I would have rated 1 star just for that if the drivers hadn't improved our experience. First of all, we always felt rushed off the phone, and when calling with multiple questions we would have to yell "wait wait, there's more!" In order to prevent her from hanging up on us. Additionally, we asked if we could have drivers who were vaccinated for covid (this was back in December 2021 when Omicron was rampant and my grandmother, who ultimately passed away before the wedding, was immunocompromised), and she turned very aggressive and said due to a shortage of drivers and legal obligations, she couldn't guarantee staff was vaccinated. This was literally the only vendor out of 10 vendors (including our catering company who ensured all their severs were vaccinated and masked, which was over 20+ people) who refused to accommodate this request. But trying to be understanding, we asked if the drivers could just wear masks instead, thinking that would be a fair compromise. But she literally laughed at us, sighed multiple times, and said she could not control her staff and ask them to wear masks. This conversation went on and on and she continued to argue with us. We ultimately decided to hire a second transportation company to take guests from the hotel block to the venue because we didn't want to deal with her anymore. She also gave my husband attitude the day before the wedding when he called to confirm the pick up times because he didn't realize our day-of coordinator had already called as well. She could have simply confirmed it again, which would have taken 30 seconds, so the attitude just felt extremely petty and unnecessary. - Their selection of larger vehicles for wedding guest transport is also relatively slim. The largest vehicle they have is sprinter vans. Signature Transportation was able to offer coach busses (and by the way - Signature transportation told us their staff was vaccinated and could wear masks!!! It was truly night and day customer experiences lol). We would have considered using Matchless for guest transport if they had dropped the attitude and had larger vehicle options. read more

My husband is a car buff so we decided to rent a vintage silver jaguar for our "getaway" car after the wedding, even though we weren't really going anywhere. We thought it would be nice to take an hour drive around Nashville and reconnect with each other after the reception while everyone else left the hotel and then we'd come back to our honeymoon suite. This turned out to be one of our sweetest memories of the night. Matchless Transportation was great to work with from the very beginining. First of all, they have beautifully restored cars! Secondly, they are very responsive and organized. The driver who picked us up was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. While we expected to drive around town as a bonus we actually got a bit of a tour of our own town! He was charming and it was so quaint! The car was gorgeous! The drivers, cars, and service are top-notch, but management was rude and unprofessional beyond words. The night of my wedding, the car we rented broke down and my wife and I decided to Lyft back to our hotel (*our driver, Ray, informed us that it would be about a 30-minute wait and we didn't want to wait that long at 11:15pm). After our honeymoon and when we got back to Nashville, I called Matchless to explain what had happened and experienced Comcast-esque, poor customer service. On two phone calls, Diane, the general manager raised her voice, incorrectly argued details of our contract, and demonstrated that she couldn't have cared less that our rental broke down or the inconvenience that it caused. She not only was condescending, but insinuated that her driver's word was to be weighed more heavily and with more credibility than mine as the customer. I didn't ask for a refund of any amount and was met with aggression and a "matter-of-fact", cold tone. Ray, our driver, was great, but Diane extended the sour sentiment of an unfortunate incident on our wedding night weeks longer than was needed. Don't book with Matchless Transportation not because they aren't good at what they do or have beautiful cars - don't book with them because if they mess up they will take no responsibility and make no effort to make it right. read more

Matchless sent their London Taxi to pick up my husband and I from our wedding reception. We loved it! Everyone commented on how cute the car was and they supplied chocolate covered strawberries for our ride to the hotel. The driver even made a stop for us at Walgreens so we could stock up on Advil for the anticipated morning headache. In addition, the booking process was incredibly easy and the staff was friendly and helpful. All in all, I have to recommend Matchless for any transportation needs! We were returning home from a vacation. We stopped to gas up in Lebanon, TN (45 min E of Nashville). We pulled out and ran over something in our truck. Thought it was a rock, turned out it was one of our lug nuts. We had two (2) broken lug bolts and a bad wobble in the wheel. Thought about calling the local PD for a tow but decided to go with an unusual long shot. I called Matchless for a tow referral (just a referral). We have trusted them several times with our care when we were in Nashville and figured if they trusted someone with their vehicles, so could we. The owner (Diane Nesbitt) answered the phone. I told Diane that I had a bit of an unusual request and what had happened. Diane gave me the number of a local tow provider, then told me to hold on. After a minute or so Diane told me that they had a truck of their own that they used for their vehicles and that they would be sending it out along with their mechanic to collect us. Diane told me that they were going to bring us back to the Matchless lot/shop/office and get us taken care of. The truck arrived, along with the mechanic (Trevor). Trevor loaded the truck and took us back to the Matchless lot/shop/office in Nashville. When we arrived at the Matchless lot there was a vehicle (Ford Expedition) and driver (Jeff) waiting for us. Diane had booked us into a hotel downtown in Nashville and was arranging for parts to repair our truck. We were taken to the hotel where we were greeted by the desk staff and the hotel concierge (who greeted us by name). We were told that Diane had explained what happen, made arrangements for us and that our room was ready. We checked in, went to the room, got cleaned up and were transported to dinner at our favorite restaurant in Nashville (Skull's Rainbow Room). After dinner, we asked to just be taken back to the hotel and were told if we needed anything to contact the hotel or Diane. Diane had sent us several text messages checking on us and telling us if we needed anything to call her or who we could contact at the hotel. The next morning we sent a text and told Diane we were up and moving. We were informed that the lug bolts for our truck had already arrived and they were waiting on the lug nuts from Toyota. Jeff returned to pick us up, took us to a lunch location and then back to the Matchless lot. On our way we received a text advising the truck repair was being finished up, it would be test driven, washed and waiting on us when we got there. When we arrived at the Matchless lot our truck was fixed, washed and ready for us. Four (4) lug bolts replaced, lug nuts replaced, all wheels checked and torqued to specs. Trevor met us to explain what he had done and Diane came out to meet us. We had some good conversation and left for home. We have returned to Nashville and used Matchless on numerous occasions to save us stress, problems, concerns and just to treat ourselves a bit. I did not realize just how many times we have used them but it sure doesn't matter to me now...for sure! Diane Nesbitt and her husband Peter took better care of us than most businesses would ever think or dream of doing. Diane and Peter sent us their company tow truck, their mechanic, transported our vehicle and us from Lebanon, TN to Nashville, TN, arranged for parts to repair our truck, provided us a driver and a vehicle, arranged lodging for us, had the truck repaired in their shop, by their mechanic, test driven, washed, had us picked up and brought back to the Matchless lot so we could pick up our vehicle. Matchless does not care who you are... A big business CEO, Tim and Faith, Garth and Trisha or Ken and Tab you are treated the same! Ok...I actually have to say, we were treated.....better!! If you are going to Nashville, or someone you love and care for is going to Nashville, keep them safe and treat yourselves! Bridal party? Girls night/weekend?? Concerts??? We booked a 56-passenger bus to transport our guests from Downtown Nashville to our wedding venue in Hillsboro Village and back at the end of the night. It worked out great! The bus was on time and everything went smoothly. The driver played the CD we provided to get everyone excited and then to keep the party going at the end of the night. I worked with Kay, who was very helpful! It happened to be a very busy transportation weekend in Nashville and vehicles were limited but Kay made sure that all of our needs were covered. When I booked, we hadn't ironed out all of the details and timeline for the day, so Kay reserved additional vehichles in case we needed them. As we finalized plans, Kay was very helpful with timing and determining an optimal transportation plan. This was especially helpful, being from out of town, and unfamiliar with driving distances/traffic etc in Nashville. Matchless was a great company to work with and made everything so easy on our end! read more

The main office was efficient and friendly - and terrific in making several changes for us and sending confirmations as appropriate. We surprised our daughter for her birthday by hiring a long white limo from Matchless. The driver could not have been nicer and more polite. He had just the right balance of friendliness and reserve. He had brought chocolate covered strawberries and was right on time. Inside the car were iced down drinks, balloons, and a birthday card for my 12 year old. There was even a very nice personal message written in it to her. I was very impressed. The driver acted like it was a delight to drive us when, really, how fun can it actually be to drive around a couple of 12 year olds and parents? :) Great job and highly recommended!! read more
