Having a designated parking spot included in the price is such a huge perk. Check in was simple and secure with the door code. The in room coffee machine is awesome and it was such a nice touch to have almond milk creamer in the hallway along with fruit and snack bars. The hotel manager went above and beyond to accommodate us before, during and after our stay. Would recommend staying here.

Made us feel like we were checking into a secret spy hotel! The rooms were small but very comfy! The ceiling fan was awesome! The mini bar was on point and they had lots of great snacks. Coffee in room and really good toiletries. We also love the in room robes! The location was very convenient, parking was great and the restaurant was yummy. The only issue with the restaurant is that they take reservations for the bar so there is no guarantee you will get a seat at the bar for a quick snack and drink. The only negatives about the 404 is that there were no pastries or fruit left out in sitting area, several people mentioned this perk. There was also a little dried toothpaste in the sink and some stains on the bed when we first arrived to our room. Kinda gross but most likely a cleaning oversight. If you are looking for a small hotel for independent vacationers this is a great place to stay. We may not stay here the next time we visit Nashville but we would stay there again in the future.

They had valet parking, which is fine considering it's downtown even though it's $65. As I said, I've been to many hotels, but this is one of the steeper ones for valet prices. Only Atlanta was more at the Hilton state that was $75 a night. Anyway, our room was completely outdated. The air conditioning was poor to almost nonexistent. It was so muggy in that room. Hence, with another comments about the mold I'm not surprised there was a mold in this room as well. It was a basic room nothing special. Beinga "silver" Member we both could drink our three dollar waters for nothing. So ridiculous. So when I stay there again, absolutely not. I think generally speaking a lot of the Hilton associated hotels like Doubletree and the others that attach Hilton to their name are lacking in comfort and cleanliness. So I guess if you wanna spend $300 in a mediocre/ outdated potential mold room Doubletree/Hilton hotel in Nashville - go for it. But there's a Marriott down the street and the hotel indigo. Maybe you should be checked out them first.

The front desks is a bar, and that should tell you a lot about the property. 2. The live music in the lobby has been great. It's nice to grab a drink, hear some live music, play some pool without having to leave the property yet. 3. Amazing location steps from Broadway bars and music 4. Everything is clean and simple. The negative reviews for this property are crazy. 1. You have to be a particular kind of Karen to complain about the noise from the street. You are on Broadway. There will be street noise. It will continue until 3am. The hotel provides earplugs and white noise generators. If this is going to be a problem for you then book a hotel out in Brentwood. 2. The rooms are small and sparse. They are also clean and cozy. I love it. You aren't coming here to hang out in your room. This is a fun, unique property. If you are expecting a Courtyard (or a Sheraton) book one of those instead. If you have any level of chill and are open to something unique right in the middle of the action, then stay here.

Our room overlooked the local bars and was just the right size for us. The rooftop restaurant was perfect for grabbing a drink and a late-night snack. If you want to be right in the middle of the action, this is a great place to stay!

My fiancée and I were scheduled to stay at the W Nashville this past weekend, but our United Airlines flight (Flight 2454 on August 6) was canceled. There were no reasonable alternative flights available that would allow us to get to Nashville, so unfortunately we had no choice but to cancel our trip. I immediately contacted the W Nashville, explained exactly what happened, and asked if they would waive the approximately $290 one-night cancellation charge given the circumstances. I was told that I would still be charged because that was their policy. I called again the following day hoping they might reconsider. The gentleman I spoke with acknowledged that the hotel does occasionally make exceptions. Naturally, I asked why an exception couldn't be made in this situation--a documented airline cancellation that made it impossible for us to get to Nashville. I was simply told again that it was their policy. I then asked to speak with a manager. I was told there was no manager available, so they took my name and phone number and assured me that a manager would call me back. It has now been two days, and I have received no call. What makes this particularly disappointing is that I am a Marriott Bonvoy member, regularly stay at Marriott properties, and actually stayed at the W Nashville last year. I had enjoyed the hotel and specifically chose to return. I understand that hotels need cancellation policies, but I also believe good hospitality involves using reasonable discretion when circumstances genuinely warrant it. I wasn't asking to cancel because I changed my mind or found another hotel. Our flight was canceled, we had no practical way to get to Nashville, and I provided the flight information to substantiate what happened. Charging a returning guest approximately $290 under those circumstances is disappointing. But what bothers me even more is being told that a manager would contact me and then hearing nothing. I had a positive impression of the W Nashville from my previous stay and was looking forward to returning. Unfortunately, the way this situation has been handled has significantly changed that impression. I still hope someone from management will reach out and reconsider the charge.

They have a sign saying park at your own risk that does not give a lot of confidence in the area. Pros: location and the room was large. Pool seemed nice Sheets and towels were clean Cons: Pretty dirty carpet has that outdoor mat feel need a carpet cleaner Hair on floors, showers, and bathroom. Walls and lamps had sus stains, boogers, and like shampoo WiFi you have to make an account and watch a freaking ad (do better guys) and even then it would not connect. I would be worried to have anything sensitive info using their WiFi. My room had ceiling damage Furniture were quite worn. Our room had a bunch of cleaner supplies and trash cans outside of it. I really hate the idea of the surprise parking fees when you get here like really we are already paying for the room. Maybe for extra cars that's fine but come on. It seems like they tried remodeling but hired the cheapest contractor they could find. Bathroom and furniture could use some tlc moldy shower, grout coming off, grout on tiles(again cheap contractor), toilet flush was corroded and broken, ect. This is a management problem, we manage a lot of properties and know some pretty sus management and these guys are the type to neglect their customers and only care about their bottom line doing some sus things to get there. You should just spend the extra $ (which you will anyways for the parking) and get a better place. I should have checked the trusty Yelp reviews and not trust the bought Expedia reviews which I highly suspect they bought.
