Tour is about 12 minutes long and we cruised through the atrium which took us through every section of the resort. There are lush gardens, waterfalls and it is very peaceful even with the music. I jammed out to Opalite by Taylor Swift and Amy and I chatted about her recent wedding and how happy we are for her! We had a great time cruising down the river on the boat, and NO peddling is required! The boat fits 16 and we were comfortable with our group of 10. Our guides were awesome, blasted tunes for us and pointed out historical landmarks as we passed them on the river and gave us the history of those points. I looked at booking the larger pontoon saloon also, but ultimately I am VERY glad we went with River Queen instead. The saloon boat was jam packed with 3-4 different groups of 10+ people. Upon arrival our shuttle driver helped take our food and drinks over to the pontoon where we met our driver for the pontoon for the few hours we were out. We drove to a side of the lake where it was extremely quiet and peaceful as we anchored down for a little bit and took out our donuts and other water devices. Our pontoon driver was awesome and interactive, taking professional photos for us and engaging in great conversation. People in TN sure are way more friendly than in other places! Some of us jumped into the river and swam while others enjoyed staying on the floating boat, eating fresh-off-the-grill chicken, steak, veggies, and shrimp. The food was so good that my father-in-law (very picky eater) said it was the best chicken/steak. There's something special and calming about cooking on the boat while being on the beautiful river.
