Eventually the places I did take it to were not suspension speciallists and "mistakes were made". Then I discovered Paulo and things were quickly set to rights. Paulo largely re-did the original install correcting the problems. Set the heights just where we both agreed they should be. Also installed adjustable camber and toe arms and dialed in the alignment. I really like the way he takes me under the car and explains everything, you don't get that at most shops. The prices are reasonable but the most important reason to go here is the quality of the work and dealing with someone who really understands performance suspensions.

After the diagnostic, I was quoted $2,700 for a clutch and flywheel replacement. When I declined the repair, I was told I owed $350 to retrieve my vehicle -- a diagnostic fee that was never disclosed upfront when I agreed to the diagnostic. I questioned the pricing because the parts quoted were significantly higher than OEM-equivalent parts available from reputable suppliers. Instead of a clear explanation or written breakdown provided in advance, the situation escalated. I ultimately paid the fee under protest in order to retrieve my vehicle. I understand shops need to be paid for diagnostics, but fees should be clearly disclosed before service, and customers should not feel pressured when they decline repairs. I strongly recommend getting all diagnostic fees and estimates in writing upfront before using this shop.

I Had my wife and my mother in law with me, but not our bags! They were in another hotel & we were paying 2 hotels for one night! ( I wonder if our bags missed us? Lol) anyway, our hotel was about all there was around us and ever time I googled "auto repair near me" it gave me Lafayette ( which was 49 miles away & the truck squealed & popped like the wheels were coming off! I googled again & it gave me Spring Texas accidentally assuming " near me" meant I was at home...in Spring Texas ...so Google accidentally gave me " Eagle Auto..." Jeff let me know I was too far for them when I gave him the hotel's address! I had no idea he was in Spring! That would usually be the end of the call right? Not so with Jeff.. he found a five star shop...five minutes away....by using his computer to help me out. The shop was great to us ...good price good work...friendly service....and quick enough for us to get back to our other hotel before the check out deadline for another night for our bags, lol. Thanks to Jeff, a horrible experience turned into a thankful one. He really went the extra mile for complete strangers and non- customers. If you have a vintage Datsun you should be well aware of this place…read more I found out about Doug and his team from Scroggins Machine Shop, another highly recommended place, and lets just say had I known about them I would not have taken my 76' 280Z any other place first. My car was what could only be described as mechanically "rough"; I bought it about a year ago as somebody else's project and managed to get it running but just barely. Basically, the head needed rebuilding and was in need of a valve job, the engine itself needed rebuilding, the fuel system needed replacing, as well as the brakes and electrical components to get it street legal. Awesome Z was thorough and thoughtful about the whole thing and comparatively speaking surprisingly affordable. There are shops in Houston that say they work on Datsuns but Awesome Z really has a passion for them. Go in there shop and all you'll see are S30 chassis, some S130s, and occasionally more modern Z cars. You'll also find a crew very knowledgeable about the cars they work on will give you plenty of options on which way you want to take your build. I can't wait to continue working with them, they definitely have a customer for life.

Sure they may have a lambo always parked outside their establishment, but that's really there to lure you in, thinking the place must be good if they do work on expensive cars. I brought my car here to install a 2-way pager alarm. My initial quote was $440, which is relatively cheaper than taking it to a legitimate shop. I dropped my car off in the morning and they said my car would be complete at 1:00 pm. At 12:30pm I called and asked if my car was ready and they said around 3:00 pm. That's no problem. At 2:30 pm I called again asking if my car was ready, they said 5:00 pm. Ok no worries. I arranged someone to take me there at 5:00 pm, hoping my car would be finished. Turns out they haven't even started working on my car. They started to work on my car after about 30 minutes of waiting. Once it was done, I went to pay. The man behind the counter charged me an additional $40 for "necessary add-ons". I was not happy. I was finally about to get my car out by the time their shop closed. In fact, they were waiting on the technician to finish working on my car before they could close (which made them rush the job). Success, I thought, since my car now had a new distinct chirp when I unlocked and locked my car. I drove back home to Pearland and parked the car over night. I had a lot of issues with my remote start so I decided to take it back the next day since it was already dark. The next morning I inspected their job. There was cut pieces of insulation and bits of wire EVERYWHERE in my car. They did not bother to clean up the mess they have created. Not only that, my 12V port was no longer secured to the dash or even connected. They must have disassembled it taken apart the entire console and forgot to re-attach it. As I started to fix the problem myself, I noticed that they cracked my cup holder. I drove back to the place and waited inside for someone to help me. There were three guys behind the counter eating lunch, not even acknowledging me. I guess lunch time is more important than customer. No respect what so ever. At least they helped me resolve the remote start issue later on. I didn't even bother mentioning the cracked cup holder or 12V port since I didn't want them touching my car again. Overall, I would never recommend anyone to this place. I came here because I was referred by a friend and I wanted an alarm on my car so it won't get vandalized. It's not easy concealing a Glock 19 everywhere you go...

Tried to salvage some components and noticed they pretty much crushed a tweeter. Went there once to check on an amp, they didn't even bother to check the sub wiring, they were only interested in selling me a new amp. Looking back I wish I had done all the work myself, at least I would have taken the time to do it right. If doing things the right way is important to you, please avoid this place. I totally regret going here.
