I've always had a good experience here. I don't usually like going to furniture stores because it's hard to browse without someone coming up to you. BUT, I will say that the two people that have helped not only me and my partner, but my dad as well, were amazing. We found the perfect couch and and getting the card is incredibly helpful. We keep our payments down, and get something we really like/want. Everyone who works there is really knowledgeable and the two people who helped us never pushed something, rather answered all questions and gave us the facts! read more

Terrible, terrible, terrible customer service. I have no idea how Mathis Home stays in business (especially with all the negative reviews). I have been dealing with a return department for over a month. They ignore my calls. They ignore my emails. They ignore my text messages. I just visited the store this morning to buy a recliner. Sarah, the sales associate was amazing and made the experience very enjoyable.

Their commissioned sales staff just won't leave you alone. They have a great selection but dont give you time to look without them bothering you. Even the manager was on us as soon as we walked in, and said we were just looking multiple times. They lost a sale for their vulturness. read more

Using my daughter's email since I don't have one: My handle "WORDS ROCK" I live in the most convienient city (Midwest City, OK). We now have a Mathis Outlet! Zane greeted me at the front of the store... a new mattress was my aim- he brought me to Ryan (mattress PhD ish). After describing my needs, within 2 horizontal test drives- I'm in... Purple it is! Oooh & I bought that beyond squishy pillow immediately! On to the outdoor carpets- again, me with my specificities and wallah, Zane drove me right to my categories and I found carpet gold immediately! I then said patio furniture, and Zane brought me to the neighborhood where it was love at 1st covered couch. Once I described how I would use that outdoor couch, he brought over an outdoor storage table... PERFECT! I'm a very specific no-thrills client. I need no shoulder rubs (metaphorically speaking). I'm all details and Zane was pick'n up what I was put'n down. He's a Fabulous personable salesman, & the store has a beyond awesome selection. Beautiful new store in our area. They have reasonable prices and some crazy. We had several different sales people come up to us and walk awhile with us. Not sure what was going on with that. We loved a couple of them but not so much the first one. It really makes a difference and I perfer clean cut look. We want to still go to main store to look to see if they have more options. read more

customer service at this location is HORRIBLE !! Nobody seems to know anything about their product you talk to multiple people and get multiple answers from the manager down to the sales persons. Their attitude towards customers is unacceptable like who's rude to a person who's coming in your establishment spending 3k cash smh! I live about 2 blocks away so the store was very convenient for me but never again i will drive the 30 minutes plus to other locations before i EVER purchase from this location again !!!!!! the choice is yours but don't recommend having Levi , Johnnie or Britt as a salesperson. read more

I would never shop here. I was treated by one of the salesmen, and we told him that we were just burning time because we didn't want to be bothered by salesmen.just when we where walking away he ask if we would give our opinion on a product, and I said yes. To make it a short story he ended up dumping me off with a mattress guy that was really nice but I didn't need a mattress and he understood. I went back to find the guy that dumped me off to say what he did was really unprofessional, and he just laughed us off. We were waiting on a dinner reservation and just wanted to kill time. We told the guy this when we walked in and his response was, " You look like you need a mattress." He proceeded to follow us around like we were criminals. I was so disgusted that we just walked out. Mathis Furniture put such a bad taste in my mouth, when I need furniture, I'll make sure I go somewhere else. read more

I really liked the selection here, the furniture is good and very comfortable, and they even deliver and assemble it for you. It's very good value. Cameron was very helpful in the selection process, he was able to show us furniture within our price range, and help us find pieces that matched our aesthetic quite well. I've heard the sales people are aggressive here, but my experience is quite the opposite, they were very accommodating and greatly facilitated finding furniture that matched our price range. read more

I always dread going into furniture stores because I don't really like shopping and always feel pressured but let me tell you, Derek and Levi were on top of it! From start to finish they were super educated, personable, and extremely helpful!! I definitely will be recommending them and the Midwest city location for anyone's furniture needs:) read more

My fiancé and I came here to furnish our apartment and we got some great things. HOWEVER, the sales people do not leave you alone at all. They will follow you everywhere you go and chime in at any time about the product. It gets incredibly annoying and is extremely pushy. Also, they told us to go with the protection plan for our sectional which I believe is 20% of the item. Either way, it came out to around $550 for us. They told us over and over again if you don't use it, you get the money back and that was it. My fiancé read the fine print and they neglected to tell us you only get the money back as a store credit. Just sneaky little things. I would not shop here. read more

The sales people will follow you the. entire. Time. You don't have to ask questions, because they'll give a bunch of unsolicited recommendations on every single product you pass while they're stalking you around the store. There are definitely some good looking pieces in the store, but having someone breathe down your neck makes shopping so unenjoyable that I don't think I would ever come back here to buy anything. read more

Immediately walk into this brand new store, take 2 steps and have 8 salesmen standing right there to shove furniture and their credit card you can apply for down your throat. If I can give this store zero stars I would. I came in looking at furniture to buy of course. The sales man talked me into buying into something I didn't even want but I was looking into buying to build credit. He convinced me to run my credit 3 times. Of course that is my fault for being so stupid. Then when it came down to filling out paperwork I was there waiting for the paperwork to go through for 5 hours!! They said they would give me free delivery and I agreed. Honestly I was just trying to leave since I've been there for so long. The sales man said I did not have to pay until my furniture arrives. I let them know that I still could not find a place so they said they could hold the price for 3 months. Fortiva charged me the first month so I called and told them my situation and said they would put it in the notes to hold my payments for those 3 months. Fortiva ended charging me again so I decided to cancel my whole order since they did not keep their word. A reception said that she will take care of it and I would not have to worry about paying. Here I am a month later and Fortiva had charged me a 3rd time. I called Fortiva and they said I had to call Mathris Home so I did. When I called they said I had to call Fortiva. I've been calling both parties back and forth all day. Finally a receptionist said that they will call in the next 2 hours around 12:30ish. I called back around 4:30ish and another receptionist said they are going to call real soon and it is almost 5:30 now. WILL NOT BE BACK. DO NOT RECOMMEND! If you do end up buying furniture I do wish you better luck than I have. Too much time and money wasted to received nothing but stress and for my credit to go down.
