Absolutely worthless! Had a sleep study the end of March and was never contacted by anyone. I called and left messages numerous times, emailed several times and nothing. Beginning of May I figured out how to contact them. They sent me to the supply department, they sent me a mask. OK, the machine needs to be set on the proper settings, they never provided them. Angela Gonzalez the "office manager" at Adapt Health/Matrix Medical in Lakeland, FL is absolutely a total embarrassment to employ! My pulmonary specialist, Dr. Shah referred me to this company for a CPAP machine. I was told this company would contact me within the next "few" days. After waiting a week & a half and not hearing from them I called the office to inquiry. Maria is the lady who answers the phone. I asked when I'd be able to obtain the CPAP machine my doctor order and my insurance company approved over a week ago. Maria said that my order was placed on hold. But, offered no details as to why. She said that Angela Gonzalez, the "office manager" (LOL) was the only one who could help me. I asked to speak to her. I was told she was "in a meeting". I asked for her e-mail address so I could e-mail her and get the communication started. Maria gave me two wrong spellings of Angela's last name. Which is part of her e-mail address. So my two e-mails were returned to me as "undeliverable". Each time I called a Maria back trying to get the proper information. Maria is a nasty, rude, LIAR. It was like pulling teeth to get a simple e-mail address out of her. After the third phone call I asked for her area managers name and phone number. Maria said that she had no idea who that was or if there was even one. So, I asked for the corporate office phone number. Maria in her snotty, unhelpful voice and attitude said I should look it up online! So, that's what I did! I continued to send Angela Gonzalez e-mails throughout the day. Of course no reply was ever made. I put an inquiry in on the corporate website and called a different Matrix Medical office to find out who the area manager was and get her phone e-mail or phone number. The information was provided to me by the lady who answered the phone. So, I e-mailed her and waited for her reply. She promptly replied and said she would help me and "take care" of the way/situation that brought me to her. Her name is Debra and she is quite excellent. The very next day she e-mailed me and told me that I could call the office and get my training/orientation set up for my CPAP machine. I was OVER the moon happy! Before I could make that call my phone rang and it was Casey the trainer calling to get me set up for training/orientation. I set my appt. for the next evening (Friday) at 5pm. I arrived at the office at 4:50 pm and was let in the building by "Maria". The nasty, rude receptionist. I introduced myself to Maria and thanked her for opening the door (the front door was locked). Not one word did she say to me. No nice to meet you, I'm sorry about the other day, NOTHING. But, she did sit at her desk and complain that it was raining out. Leaving the phone unanswered to gossip about the new cleaning crew with other staff members. Outrageous! I sat in the waiting room and just observed. Then I heard someone yell out of the back "Angela, I'm leaving, have a nice weekend". Guess who appears out of an office 20 feet from me? ANGELA GONZALEZ the "office manager". Gossiping herself about the new cleaning crew and there lack of service. I looked right at her and smiled. NOT ONE WORD did she say to me. Nothing, she didn't even acknowledge me. NOW RUDE! After all she put me through for two days... nothing?!? No "I'm sorry" absolutely nothing. As I was walking back to the training room again she walked right past me. She didn't even look at me. She is an absolute DISGRACE to not only herself with her low level behavior but to Matrix Medical as well. This "women" is who they have employed to be the "office manager"? She was even dressed unprofessionally. Jeans and a T-Shirt with flip flops. I'd think that as a "office manager" you'd be dressed professionally. You would want to exemplify an example of professionalism to your staff and the customers coming in and out of the office all day. I guess these are all the reasons the reviews are so bad for Adapt Health /Matrix Medical. Personally I'm writing up my story in detail and sending it to the office manager of my doctors office so they are aware of what and to whom they are referring their patients too! If you are reading this and thinking of referring to this company- STOP! How do you give a company a negative rating? I have to give them a one but they don't deserve it. You will get fitted for Capp equipment that is not even close to fitting you which will lead to endless problems with use of your crap machine. Then they will send you supplies for a mask that they swapped out for you a month earlier. After you get the erroneous shipment you will be getting billed by another company with no invoices to tell you what they heck your being charged for. You will end up wanting to get off the machine and save yourself all this grief but you cant or you will be charged for the full price of the machine. We crove over there to see about getting some special bandages. They are no longer there. No sign like the one in the picture. We went around the building to make sure. They should take down the website or state that the physical store is closed to they don't make people drive miles to get there. I called the number listed and its some king of medical equipment phone line. This business is only interested is sales of new product. The customer care relationship that I have experienced is very subpar. I will never utilize this company in the future unless there is no other recourse due to Insurance Requirements. I have utilized a C-PAP device for almost 10 years. ResMed 10 has been a wonderful device and I originally purchased it while we were living in the Knoxville area. I moved to Florida and in August of 2020, I needed supplies. I was sent to Matrix Medical in Plant City to purchase. I was advised my unit was out of warranty and I needed to purchase a new unit. I purchased a new ResMed 10 as I had a stock of some of the supplies. I purchased the few items I needed and paid my portion of the cost of the unit. In July 2022, the machine started to act up intermittently. I changed out attachments and it was better but continued to surge where the machine would suddenly just go into Jet mode and be blowing me out of the bed. Whistling and blowing up my cheeks, drying out my sinuses. It was very uncomfortable to sleep. This went one every night for three weeks before I switched over to my old unit and the issue did not occur. I contacted Matrix and was advised I needed a new Script from my Doctor. I contacted them and they complied. I contacted Matrix again and was told I needed to contact my Third Party Biller. I did this and the biller was told since the unit was over 5years old it was out of warranty and I needed to purchase a new one. I advised this unit was only 2years old and should still be under warranty. Biller contacted them back (on a Monday) and was advised a Tech Person would contact me in 48hrs. The following Monday, Oct 10, 2022, the Tech person called and asked a few question including the serial number and advised it was under warranty till Oct 28, 2022. I was told to drop it at their new location and it would be shipped out for repair. I was currently using my old C-PAP unit at night for over a month as I waited to resolve this issue. I dropped it that same Monday at the front desk of the Matrix Medical office. I was contacted by Matrix Medical on the following Monday, Oct 17, 2022 and advised by Ashley, who had never returned my previous calls, that the unit was out of warranty since August 2022 and I would have to handle the repairs myself. I advised her Tech person had advised it was still under warranty. She advised it was not and gave me a name and phone number to contact for the repair. I contacted Altra Medical and explained the issues to date. She obtained the Serial Number and also confirmed the unit was still under warranty till Oct 28, 2022. I am now sending my unit out for repair under warranty. I will never use Matrix Medical for any reason that is in my control in the future. I know they were just purchased by AdaptHealth and is or was a subsidiary of AEROCARE. I hope they are able to turn this place around and provide real service for their customers instead of just being a retail outlet for new items. read more

Worst company to work with if you need a C-PAP machine. If Carecentrix tells you to go here to get your machine, request that you go to another company. I have been fighting with them for over a year now about the use of my machine. I have left several messages with the branch that I originally went to and have not received any calls back. When I called this branch (Main branch) Martha the rep just gave me an attitude when I was done telling her about my issue. Instead of listening, and trying to resolve the issue she decided to take my frustration as a personal attack on her and not the situation. My 81 year old father sat without use of his portable oxygen for 2 weeks waiting for a new regulator. The techs that deliver equipment are NOT helpful. We leave messages with no return call. They will arrange delivery of equipment but it never arrives. Have to make multiple calls to get in touch with anyone that can actually do their job. My father actually ran out of battery on his phone while on hold waiting to speak with someone. I do not know how a company that deals with elderly and very ill clients can operate like this. Beware of this company! I was helping my elderly Father get a walker which he needed . I called Medicare and they told me this co could supply one at no cost , since it was covered by his insurance . When I called Matrix to confirm this , they told me it would cost $50, plus possible delivery charges. Matrix insisted his insurance didn't cover it all. I called another co and my Father received the walker he needed at No Cost, just as Medicare told me. Matrix was trying to rip off an 87 y.o. Man ! What a disgrace ! My husband received his CPAP 2 weeks ago. He has been using the nose & mouth mask. Didn't seem to seal correctly. I called the company 5 times befor the company sent someone to help. They came with the superviser. He was much more help but it took 6 days to get someone to show up. If a company sells something to you without breaking down the cost of the items that they are selling you and simple state that the entire cost will be covered by insurance etc. then I believe this to be consumer fraud. Further they did not break down the cost of all the items provided by name so I do not know the cost of each item provided. From what I can figure out they charged $134.00 for a Cpap hose that I can purchase from Res shop online right now for the sales price of $40. Their normal price for this item is $51. Res shop show the part number as 36995. This is the same number as is on the packaging of the item I received from Matrix Medical. I want to further note that this hose was made n Singapore as stated on the packaging. Can you imagine the markup they are taking for this 6 foot plastic hose. I want to further note that my invoice says to pay this bill online at www.AeroCareUSA.com ... It is my opinion that this company is using unethical and fraudulent sales practices that pry on the elderly (I am 70 Years old) as well as other younger unsuspecting people who they cold call. read more

Customer service is the absolute WORST! Once Medicare has paid for the machine (which is usually 1 year after purchase) they honestly don't care what your problem is or that your very life is in danger without the machine. The reps on the phone appear to be uncaring and unempathetic. And THAT is not an issue you can blame on covid 19. They are VERY good at getting the supplies out to you (because that means more money for them) but if you need assistance or the machine malfunctions, I wish you luck. BE SURE to mention these reviews to your doctor if you are prescribed CPAP equipment. That is the ONLY way we can hopefully get some other companies to compete and provide this equipment in the area. read more

Friday July 2,2021at 2:30 , called Matrix Medical, an AeroCare Supplier Co. because I needed a power supply cord for my OxyGo Next , personal concentrator, that was not working. I was told that nothing could be done for me until Tuesday the 6th of July , because they don't have anyone working on weekends. I told them that I could not wait 4 days to be able to use my Oxygen machine. I asked to speak to the Manager, "Brooke Everly", who was very rude, and condescending towards me, when asked why they didn't have someone available to deliver in the middle of the afternoon on a Friday, and what does a patient do in case of emergency equipment failure on the weekend? I was told that " would you like to take my needs elsewhere, or Would I like to take her suggestions? " at which time she said she would try to Mail mea new cord over the weekend, this was very unprofessional of her to treat a scared person on weather or not they would be able to use their oxygen. I will be looking for another Oxygen supplier for me needs! Don't use this Company. He was super angry that I brought non-functioning equipment back to his office and ask for a receipt to document that it was returned. I had my first personal encounter with Mike at Matrix Medical this week with Mike. I had called to get my refill of supplies and he happened to be in the office. He shared his phone number and came out to my house personally to fit me with a new mask. Mike quickly determined that my order had sent me the wrong size nasal mask. He fit me with the new DreamWisp mask and took the other masks and committed to correcting my file personally, and swapping out my old masks for my new masks. Mike was prompt, personal, professional and accommodating with my schedule. He spent time to ask me questions to ensure I was getting exactly what I needed. My husband just got out of the hospital & could not walk very far so his dr ordered a walker with a seat. He took the RX. to Matrix & the one he ordered was on line new for less than 60.00 free shipping, they told him they cost 200.00,not true! . Matrix said they had to charge my husband for the seat & he has full coverage but they said their store charges that amount no matter what. This store in Plant City has one star & I believe they are taking advantage of the elderly because we need walkers & things like wheelchairs.
