Bought this car from Matrix Motors 1997 Chevy Blazer pay them $3,300 which was way over the Blue Book had nothing but problems with it how to put a battery in it have to have the air conditioner recharge and two valves then it was leaking oil replace transmission cooler lines replaced left front axle seal change to all fluids in differential and transfer case cost $1,000 I'm found out oil pan leaking and main seal leaking another $1,000 now the engine lights coming on plus the ABS light it's coming on which they replaced at Lincoln Auto in Oak Park The Hub don't ever buy anything from this rip-off they got me good and I'm pissed read more

Don't buy a car here . I just bought a car here after the owner told me that the car was in good condition and didn't need anything.He lied. After I got it I took it in for a overall inspection and was told that the oil is leaking from a intake gasket and that repair cost me over $1,000. I live in western Iowa and had been looking for a month for a 2013-14 Malibu. We usually use Cragislist to search for cars and have had good luck with that in the past. We just weren't finding anything we liked in our price range in our area. My husband is not afraid to travel for a good find and he happened to find the car we really wanted several hundred miles away at Matrix Motors. We both talked with George over the phone asking soooo many questions. He was patient and honest. We needed to make sure the car was what they advertised if we were going to travel that far. We were aware the car was a prior salvage, and we were fine with that. George helped us out by meeting us a little closer to home over a holiday weekend. That in itself, I believe, is over and above the scope of a normal sale. He was willing to take time out of his weekend just to help us out a little. We had a little trouble finding each other, but when we finally got to the meeting place, my expectations were not only met but exceeded. I was blown away at how beautiful it was. The pictures did not do it justice. The car was immaculate, just as described. It drove flawlessly, and I LOVE it! The paperwork was ready, just had to sign and drive. Excellent experience with George! I live almost 6 hours away in west-central Indiana. I knew I wanted a MazdaSpeed3. They're hard to find, but from the description, and after talking to George, I decided to take a chance. Drove the 6 hours with my son and his girlfriend, so they could drive my car back if I decided to buy the car. The car was covered with 4 or 5 inches of snow, but it started right up. The body, interior, etc., was better than I expected. George offered me a CarFax, but I had already looked t up. Just as described. I was especially impressed with the quality of the interior at 122,000 miles. I couldn't find anything wrong at all. It was even better than advertised, in my opinion. I didn't have the heart to talk George down on price simply because I thought it was worth the asking price, so we settled quickly. Drove it the 6 hours home and really enjoyed it. Right after I got home we had severe temperatures and snow. The car sat 3 days in temps down to -15 (without windchill). I cranked it today, and it fired right up. I didn't drive it, because everything is still icy, but I was very pleased. I am very busy and don't usually write reviews unless I think it's worth it. This was a very good experience for me, and worth the time and distance it took to get the car. I appreciate George's personal care and his honesty. I live in NC and was visiting my grandma in Toledo when I saw a ad on CL for a 2006 BMW from matrix motors. The car looked in good shape and the price was low. I called George and asked if the car had any damage and if it had a clean title. He said that it was in great shape with a clean title. I was even able to lower the price a little so I was very happy. I drove an hour to see the car. When I got there George wasn't there so I had a chance to talk to the mechanic, I'm glad I did. I leaned the car was in a accident and had a salvage title, this explained why the price was so low. I was mad that George had lied to me, but I wasn't to deterred because my family owned 2 other salvage titles. The car had some exterior dents and a few scratches, and a tire still had damage from the accident. When I tried to start the car the battery died and we waited 4 hours for them called me back and Said he'd ship it down if we split the shipping. We were leaving town again that week so we paid him $200 to hold the car for a week, he'd had it on his lot for over 6 months. When we got back I called him and he told me he had sold the car to someone else and sent the $200 back to us. After that George still had the nerve to try and get me to buy a Mazda rx8 that he was having trouble selling. I told him he had destroyed my trust and I would never buy a car from him again. After about a month George called me back saying he felt bad for what he did, but never actually apologizing. He said he just got another 2006 BMW that was a lower model but also had lower miles. The car looked great not gonna lie. He said he would be able to give it to me for the same price as the other one. After the car passed inspection he went back on his word again! And wouldn't drop the price anywhere near the other one. I told him I wasn't moving a inch on the price and he never returned my calls for a week so I gave up on the car. Overall matrix motors sells cars that look great with low miles but they all have salvage titles and are over priced for that. George will do his best to convince you to buy it, any good questions you have he will ignored or talked around with a loud hard to understand voice. I would recommend avoiding matrix motors completely but if you can't resist one of his Internet ads that look fantastic make sure you have the car inspected at a real dealership, not his neighbor down the street that he will reccomend to you. My personal experience made me feel used and played, I would not reccomend matrix motors to anyone. read more

I have purchased 2 cars from George at Matrix. Both were a very good deal, but they needed a little extra work after purchase. They were late model cars with very low miles, salavge title. I took each to the frame shop to check alignment before I purchased. Be sure to get all the stuff taken care of before you put any money down. All and all, I'd buy from him again, but I'd be sure to have a mechanic check things out before payment. read more
