The dealer posted a car with overheating engines as car without mechanic problems. He figured out that you have to drive the vehicle for a while to notice this fault. I did a test drive for 5 minutes and thought everything was good. On my way back home after purchasing the car, I drove for about 30 minutes and started noticing a notice on the dashboard for overheat. I called the sales representative Hamza and he said I just need to buy a specified antifreeze/coolant everything will be fine. That was where my problem started from. Since the car was sold with over 260k miles with No warranty on sales this dealer has refused to fix the car or changed it. I only drove this car for a day. I felt I was lied to, and he did took advantage of me because am new to the United States and I don't know how the law on used cars works. Please be careful with this dealership. read more

Stated he would take care of one problem and he would help me pay for the others-but failed to do so with one repair that had us stranded within 10 minutes of leaving the dealership- he did come fix it but it was never properly working until we replaced the part. We bought a car from here in August 2013, and after visiting a few other local car dealerships, this one was a pleasant surprise. When you think of a small Detroit car lot, you think of smelly, pushy salesmen trying to pawn off poor and overpriced cars. That's what we got from a few other places before coming here. Top Gearz is a very nice place with a small and cramped, yet well stocked lot of nice vehicles. They take care of all their vehicles and even include a 1-year warranty on the transmission and engine. The car we bought was in great shape and reasonably priced. There was some rust near the wheel, but they fixed it before we bought it. They took care of everything. All we had to do was give them the money, drive the car away, and come back a week later to get the title and plate. The business is family owned, completely legitimate, and provides a no-pressure environment. Soon after, we discovered a battery problem with the car, and they said they would fix it for us, even if they weren't obligated to do so. But, we just solved the problem ourselves. read more
