Updated: Still terrible process renting an apartment with Fulton Grace and the Matt Engle Group. Applied for an apartment with-in 36 hours was encouraged to offer more than the rental price. Realtor was unable to provide a copy of my credit repot until after requesting multiple times. Felt that they never processed the application until after I requested a copy of the credit report or a refund on the application fee. Would not recommend this outfit. read more

It was so great working with Matt and I really appreciate him helping me out! I honestly don't have any negative things to say about my experience. I know the lease process took awhile but it was not his fault. Here are some of my positives: 1. I was very impressed by Matt from the start when he emailed me alternatives to the 1 br/2br places. Some of the listings provided were not shown on Zillow and it was really great to expand my options. The apartment that I signed a lease with for was not even on Zillow at the time! 2. Big bonus points for emailing me late at night. I'm personally a night owl myself but it also showed me that he's extremely dedicated and an even harder worker. I will for sure refer him to my contacts who are looking for a new place. Besides, who knows maybe he'll show my brother around when looking to invest in property! 3. I appreciated it so much when he scheduled all the showings after work and that they were lined up neatly. There weren't any real hiccups with the viewings and all of the management or owners were really nice. Even though it made my day a littler longer by viewing apartments after work, it was so worth it and it was a good strategy and efficient use of time. Current location in Boston made the logistics of my search and availability tricky, however, Matt never made me feel like I was an inconvenience.
