I have been a State Farm and Joseph Simone Agency customer for many years. I have a rather good…read moredriving record but I had 2 chargeable accidents in the last 30 years, 15 years apart. Although no one was hurt, damage to the other party's vehicle ran into the thousands for each incident. I NEVER suffered a rate increase, movement into the non-mutual carrier or into the assigned risk pool. The claims have been paid without saying boo! Until recently, I have been able to insure 3 vehicles at a very good price. Lately, like all insurance companies, my rates have risen dramatically. However, this is a mutual company. I remember during the depths of the COVID epidemic when no one was driving, my rates plummeted, therefore I feel that State Farm is a fair company. The Joseph Simone Agency provides an OUTSTANDING level of Customer service, exercising good guidance on whet coverage I need. they have sold me what is important and economical and have not tried to sell unneeded coverage. Therefore, I am very well protected. In addition to servicing my insurance needs, they have provided notary and witness service for Power of Attorney and Healthcare Proxy forms, all at no charge. The entire staff as well as Mr. Simone provide 5 Star, World Class customer service.

A few days ago my car overheated and my vehicle stalled while driving. I contacted road side assistance which was unable to locate a tow truck. After an hour I called back and they gave me the run around and told me that they don't usually know when the tow truck company declines or accepts the tow, they just move on to the next call. I then received a text message 30 mins later saying that my tow would be there in a whole hour. I cancelled and sought help elsewhere. I asked for refund! I called State Farm to complain about this matter and asked to be called back by Marty Oneill or assistant. After two days I received no call back so I called and spoke to Marty and told him I wanted to change agents and his attitude was very cavalier so I asked, "is there a reason why I didn't receive a call back?" and his response was, "What do you want me to say to you? I'll send you the 1-800 number so you can locate another agent." After 4 years, it was time for a new agent. Stay away! There's no need to spend money for this level of unprofessionalism. I know at least two people who have had the same complaint about Marty and his office. Goodluck
