The staff in the reception area are so kind, and very knowledgeable in letting you know what is covered under your plan. I never have to wait too long to be seen. In fact, all of my appointments have been on time. The technicians are great with getting you through each eye test station, and scanning the back of the eye with all the latest technology. It's an additional cost (not covered) for the OCT, but it's well worth it. It's highly recommended if you have a family history of glaucoma (like me). I've been seeing Dr. Hollis and Dr. Wright for 3 years now. They are both wonderful. They've been great in addressing all of my concerns, and offering great solutions. I've also been super happy with the opticians. I wasn't really able to wear progressive lenses until coming to this practice. I'm not sure why. All I can say is that every pair I've received here have been perfect. Picking out frames by myself has never been an easy task. The opticians here have always been able to find the right frames for the shape of my face. They make the whole frame shopping experience seamless and pleasant. I never feel rushed to make a decision. I never feel like they are trying to sell me expensive frames, unless I'm leaning that way. They truly have a knack for finding the right fit, and at a good price range. I don't think I've ever had an issue with the finished product. It's always a great experience!

I told them she was insured, so they suggested I call my carrier and reschedule my wife's appointment. I guess a phone call prior to me arriving would have been too much to ask. We both left and I will not be back. I called my insurance company and they indeed verified my wife is covered. Just another example of people not doing their job properly. Horrible customer experience.

Look for another eye doctor, stay away…read more I have been going here since 2007 when we moved to Florida. Recently had an appointment for retinal laser treatment. One of the techs crashed an eye drop container into my eye ball, something that has never happened to me before. My appointment was at 10 AM, at 12:30 when the office was empty of patients and staff I inquired to who I could find about whether or not i was forgotten. I was quickly brought into the treatment room. The process involves the doctor using a device that actually touches your eye. The device was wiped and deposited on the table in front of me then picked up and applied to my eye with the end that had been on the table. The procedure was extremely uncomfortable, but completed. I was given a salve in my eye and told to call with any problems, no details on what I should avoid doing or anything that would indicate what I could expect from recovery for the procedure. Within an hour my eye was painful, not uncomfortable, painful and both eyes began to swell and tear up. It got worse overnight, finally I went to another eye Dr and found out I had a "pretty big" tear on my cornea. If I could give 0 stars I would.

As a diabetic, I put my trust in him with keeping on top of my vision. His knowledge and expertise, along with truly caring about my eyes, gives me comfort. He detected very early signs of macular degeneration, promptly referring me to a retinal specialist. Early detection is crucial so I was grateful! I highly recommend this wonderful doctor.

There are certain days of the week when the office is open until 7 PM, perfect for accommodating my work schedule. The office staff here is super friendly and knowledgeable. I've never waited long to be seen, a small miracle these days. I have a limited purpose FSA to help with expenses for vision and the team works with me to make sure I'm making the most of my benefits. During my first visit, I felt like the blue light blocker and anti glare were just add on options to increase expenses but I cannot imagine living and working without my blue light blocking lenses! I notice a huge difference when I work without my glasses on. I love this office and staff!

I would not recommend going here. I went in for an eye exam and told the doctor that I was seeing…read moreperfectly with my current prescription. I passed all of the eye tests, but she still decided to make a significant change to my prescription. While I was in the office, she had me try a trial pair of contacts with the new prescription. I immediately told her that I could not see clearly with them and that I could no longer pass the eye tests she had just given me. She said the issue was that the contacts were not the right size and that I just needed time to adjust to them. I was required to order the new prescription, but after wearing the contacts for several days, my vision was terrible. I could not clearly see street signs or even people on the side of the road. It became so bad that I stopped driving altogether. I finally went back and insisted that she change my prescription back to my original one and order new contacts. Then, two months later, I received a bill for the replacement contacts even though I had already paid for the original contacts and was told this would be handled as an exchange. I have been going to eye doctors since I was 10 years old and have never had an experience like this. Go at your own risk!

After the exam, I was given a trial contact lens prescription that left my right eye significantly blurrier than my baseline...a soft haze where I couldn't make out even the biggest letters on the chart. When I expressed concern, I was told it "just needed 20 minutes to adjust," even though my left eye was immediately clear. I was ultimately told this was "the best we could do," despite my vision being worse than when I walked in. I felt dismissed & gaslit. I've been wearing contacts for 25 years & never been to an eye doctor who manages to make your eyesight worse & then make you feel like it's your fault lol
