While the nurse practitioner that I saw a few times there was nice enough, I never actually met the doctor that I was assigned to (Dr. Vukotic). She never bothered to introduce herself on any of my visits. I wanted this to be my primary care office but they simply do not care. I was experiencing pain and reached out various times about it. I had to push to get scans done to find out what was going on. Despite more than one alarming result from the scans, I NEVER heard back from the doctor or the office at all. It has been nearly a year since I had the scans they ordered (only because I advocated for myself and they wanted to shut me up). NOBODY reached out to me to discuss the results or to even follow up on how I was feeling. I was left to Google explanations of these results because nobody bothered to reach out. I was worried about some of the findings, which seemed serious, so I sought out a different doctor and office. They acted quickly to address my concerns and referred me to other specialists. I ended up having surgery. The only communication I had received from North Roswell Internal Medicine since my scans was a handful of promotional emails about something they were selling. That is, until today when I received an automated email reminder that I was "overdue" for my annual wellness visit. I am not overdue for anything, but they are overdue in noticing that I exist and had medical needs they completely neglected. They did the same thing with my husband. He also had something come up that they received results for but they have not reached out to him either. He and I and our adult son all changed doctor's offices because these people are a joke and don't care about their patients at all. Based on these experiences, I cannot recommend this practice and wish I had an option to rate them negatively because that is what they deserve. After he had me on 2 different statins - and ignored the fact that my memory was being affected, I stopped going to him (multiple reasons). Since then I've been hoping to find a cardiologist who not only is up on the very latest medical information and has extremely impressive cardiology training - but who considers integrative options and actually listens and truly respects me as a patient who asks lots of questions. In my first appointment, Dr. Reingold took a detailed summary of my medical history and keyed into several important points on my medical history that were totally overlooked by my previous doctor (and every other doctor I've been to over the years). I was extremely impressed with his knowledge and his quest to confirm my currently accurate heart health. He prescribed two tests which we then reviewed at my 2nd appointment - and subsequently ordered some labs to get the complete diagnosis and plan of attack. (I've not yet made the appointment for the lab work for those tests which are also very impressive and not just basically standard from most cardiologists.) (Note: Dr. Reingold already changed the dosage on the blood pressure meds I have been on for 2 years. My blood pressure is low, and my internist never keyed in on this.) I am totally on board with Dr. Reingold and anxious for results in a 3 month follow-up on his suggestions and protocol.

A phone call would have been nice. When I got home, I went online to discover that I did not have a physical within the last year. They were like "oh well". I told the doctor that the only meat I eat is fish. She said that's not good, it has mercury. Yes, some fish have mercury, but not what I eat. I maintain a Mediterranean diet. It's known that the diet provides a long, healthy life. The doctor needs to retire, she is quite old and not up-to-date.
