Once about our insurance declining (and when we called the insurance company, they confirmed they never even ran a check of our insurance). The second time was telling my spouse wrong information about the condition of his mouth and what was needed for it. We have since found a new dentist, and found that if we had gone through the plan that Powers place had, it would have worsened things and been far more expensive for very little to show for it. Absolutely disgusted by the service the past few times I went. Lady at the desk was incredibly rude and nosey, and repeatedly made my spouse feel self conscious over the situation and the fact that we did not financially have the ability to get the priciest options. Very poor quality of care. Went to a new dentist recently, and most of the things we had been told in the past from Powers was wrong, and things that SHOULD of been addressed (that we were told were "no big deal" ended up needing adressing) Never again.

There is a nice waiting area and this year they have upgraded to digital x-rays and you can even watch TV while your teeth get worked on. The aesthetic of my smile and health of my teeth have been greatly enhanced. 2. long term staff- from front desk to the hygienist. Dr. Kaplan staff loves to work there and it shows in the nearly zero turnover. 3. personal attention- Dr. Kaplan makes time to sit with you and talk about your dental health. Very unrushed, the opposite of a factory. She has provided her home number after procedures in case I had questions or discomfort. I'm not sure if she provides a guarantee per se, but Dr. Kaplan has always made sure I'm 100% happy with whatever work is done. The environment is warm and inviting, very comfortable, even kind of homey. The technology appears to be state of the art.
