If you are looking for honest and upfront service, don't go here. I called and was quoted a price over the phone for rotor replacement and brake pads for my truck. I made the appointment, and they told me they were slow and could get me in that day. I rearranged my schedule, canceled meetings, and figured I would get some work done in the waiting room while they worked on my truck. After I had been waiting for about an hour, they came out and told me the cost was going to be three times the amount I was quoted over the phone. I could understand the final price being a few hundred dollars different, but not 3X the quoted price. At that point, the whole thing felt like a bait-and-switch. Quote a price that gets the customer through the door, get their vehicle in the shop, and then come back with a price three times higher. I have to wonder how many people, after already rearranging their day and waiting around, just give in and pay it. I have been coming here for over 20 years. I've purchased multiple vehicles from this dealership and typically had all of my service done here. Despite that history, they weren't willing to honor the quote. Their explanation was that the person who gave me the quote over the phone was inexperienced. Your lack of training is not my problem. If your employee gives a customer a quote, schedules the appointment based on that quote, and the customer rearranges their day and shows up expecting that price, you should stand behind what your employee told them. After more than 20 years as a customer, I'll never be back. I also won't recommend this dealership to anyone again. Unfortunately, not the Food experience I expected. I purchased a Raptor Ford F150 and it was an okay experience. Then I traded in for a Ford a Bronco. Initially good but the vehicle leaked constantly. Set up an appointment with their body shop to fix the leaking and they kept my vehicle for days didn't fix/repair anything. When I tried to go back I got blow off because the end of the month. When they finally accepted to reschedule the manager didn't even have the professionalism to speak with me. Regardless, I ended up selling my Bronco. I know I'm just one person but very disappointed in the Ford experience, especially the Matthews-Currie Ford Experience. read more

I am not going to sugar coat it. I had a very frustrating time with service when I brought my car in for some issues and routine maintenance a few months ago. The situation itself doesn't matter so I won't waste time spelling it all out. What DOES matter is that they really do care about their quality of work and that customer satisfaction is really important to them. After the issues I had, they went above and beyond to make it right. They didn't have to....I am just one customer out of thousands, but they did and for that I thank them tremendously. People screw up sometimes and I get that. It shouldn't happen but it does and if it does, MC Ford puts their customers first and does what they need to do to remedy the situation. I thought when you buy a $65,000 vehicle you could expect courteous and friendly service. Not here. From the front desk staff to the salespeople and the finance person we experienced the minimal pleasantries and service. Heck, we even had to purchase a can of coke while we spent all that hard earned money. The salesperson set up the media but did not demonstrate all of the cars features. "How do you take the roof off?" we asked. "It's pretty straightforward", was the answer. No demonstration. The one nice thing was we felt no pressure. I went there just now to get information on my 2014 Mustang and to possibly buy repair parts. I was told to drive around to the Service Department and someone would help me. I did that and was completely ignored for a good ten minutes. I observed several shirted Employees walk right by me. No one acknowledged me or asked a single question. Nope not going back. I ordered a brand new Ford Lightning online through Ford's web site and I picked Matthews-Currie Ford as the dealership that would sell me the truck and get the commission. That was a mistake and I wish I'd ordered it from a different dealership. The dealership wasted 5 and a half hours of my time so far and when I wrote them an honest review of the experience the sales rep called me and yelled at me about the review. My brand new truck was delivered to me with over 100 miles on the odometer. Someone took it joy riding, there's no excuse for a brand new truck to have that many miles. I have a very minor issue with the truck that needs to be fixed under warranty. I called the service department and asked them to fix it here at my house instead of me coming in because I don't want to see the sales rep who yelled at me ever again. They haven't said yes yet and it's been over 24 hours. On top of that the dealership didn't do a good job preparing the truck for delivery. Attached are photos of "strings" of plastic that should have been removed by the dealership. I'm dreading what other things they missed or did wrong that I'm going to find. Hopefully only cosmetic things like this and nothing serious. When I spent almost $65,000 with a company pre-tax, including a $1,000 price gouging "doc fee", I expect great service. After driving 35 miles one way to see the vehicle, I was told that there wasn't a hybrid in that trim. The salesman found the right vehicle at another lot but raised the price $5k. The dealer advertises a $2500 price match guarantee, but when I presented a different dealer's msrp that matched this dealer's msrp with a $1,400 incentive, the dealer offered to drop their price $500. Finance Department is terrible! Good luck trying to cancel any warranties bought during purchase. Chris H in finance had me on a wild goose chase trying to get bogus documents that weren't needed in order to cancel warranties after selling my car. He never returned any phone calls or texts. Something that should have been easy and just a couple of minutes of work took days and probably months if I wasn't on top of it. If it wasn't for Tracy & Debbie in the administrative office, I would still be chasing down documents required by Chris. One would think my refund was coming directly out of Chris' wallet. Over the course of many years, I have purchases several new vehicles from Matthews Currie Ford and over those same years had them serviced there as well. Took my vehicle in recently for an oil change and upon completion of the work I was informed that my rear brakes needed to be replaced along with the rotors and the total cost would be over $650. I knew they needed replacement as I had front brakes done several months prior and was informed the rears would need it within 6 months. I told them I would call for an appointment for next week. I called a few reputable places just to get a price comparison and was told to come in for a free brake inspection which i did. I was shocked to find that both places told me that my rotors didn't need to be replaced and just needed to be turned and new brake pads for a total cost of $159. plus tax. I believe this is a common practice of Matthew Currie Ford to lie and tell you your rotors need replacement just to pad the bill. I also paid them for new rotors when I had the Front brakes done and am now wondering if they screwed me then. Matthew Currie has just lost my oil changes, body shop and new vehicle service forever. Scam! My service tech was MIke Mongiovi and the mechanic was Kona Hunter. I have tried to work with Matthews Currie but I just cant on board their rude and unprofessional staff. I came in for a oil change and have my side view mirror fixed. The service staff guy said the system doesn't relay any mirror issues and would have to make a separate appointment....which I did but due to a software problem they don't get those notes. I even made a appointment with the repair shop not the quick lube. I took a morning off and now they want me to make another appointment? I said to just due the Oil change and rotate tires. When completed they said I needed a 30K service with would be over $700. I asked what about the mirror? They said they were not going to fix the mirror and had to make a different appointment. I turned down the 30K service because I can't see myself missing a service recommendation at 30K. I went home and found my service receipt from August 12 and it was from Matthews Currie. I did in fact already have the 30K service done. Bottom line they tried to upcharge me on a service I already had done at their own shop. When I called and confronted them they said, "Oh we just overlooked that" "How many times should we say sorry". They are shady and I will never go back to this dealership. Can I give less than 1 star? I have a 2013 Ford escape that I've taken to the dealer for service since it was new to me. My experience has been this. This is over several years, I have had enough and will never return. I did a lot of routine, oil, changes and maintenance throughout the cars history there most were uneventful but several have been very bad. First trip in I picked up the car and there was a dent in the door they could not pull that up on their camera, so we didn't know if perhaps another customer had done it. Still have the dent. I took it to the dealer was because I had a flat, and we could not get the Lugnuts off the car because they had swollen. I had AAA come out and they couldn't get it off either, so we had it towed on a flatbed truck to the dealer , I went to pick up the car after they had repaired the tire and the door was jacked out of alignment by about a half an inch. We never jacked the car because we could not get a lug over the nuts. Had arguments with them but finally, they finally agreed and repaired the door. Took the car in to have a front left axle replaced due to torn cuffs. Also had new tires replaced at the same time when I picked up the car it was hot so I didn't open the windows and I didn't hear it but there's a constant ticking sound coming from that wheel. It's the same sound I've heard before where the CV joints were going out, it was about a $2000 job between the tires and the CV joint. I brought this up to the dealership and they said that they would take a look at it but wanted another $170 for diagnostics. So they want another $170 to look at something that they supposedly repaired. This is the last time I will be going to the dealership. Their service department is awful. You never know how your car is going to be returned to you. read more

Horrible experience! Brought in 2004 thunderbird not working. Since it was a Ford prior mechanic recommended we take it there but their diagnostic indicated pcm(elect) or coils. Told Ford that info. They said it was throttle body and replaced and we paid $1500 It didn't fix and we returned. After 2 more weeks of them having car said they could not figure it out, sorry and come pick it up. Ended up going to highly recommended Pit Stop. They tested and said coil. Replaced coil and car working fine. So almost a month without our car, aggravation and worry and fought to get $500 back. They happened to have a car I needed and they were all smiles and sugar and promised to send me the second key to my car when it arrives. The pre delivery fees are ridiculous, $3000 in fees, they didn't go over them with me. I wanted to take the car back because of the fees, I texted them the same night but they refused to let me bring it back. They were very impersonal, hardly looked me in the eye. They offered me $3000 for my vehicle, they said it was involved in an accident and they couldn't sell it, they said it would have to be auctioned (they didn't bother to mention that the vehicle I bought was involved in an accident and had undercarriage damage). When I said no to the $3000, the salesperson said nothing to me, he just got up and walked away, he did that a few times. He hardly spoke to me. He came back with $4000, I again said no, when he came back with $5000, I agreed. Had I known about the fees I wouldn't have agreed, the guy who handled the paperwork signing, didn't mention the fees to me. I was told those fees are not charged by everyone. I was naive and stupid, I was focused on the interest rate, monthly payment and what I would get for my vehicle. I asked the salesperson what the interest rate was, he didn't know, he said the paperwork guy would go over that with me. I had to ask him what it was, he said 7%, actually it is 7.88%. The vehicle I bought was around $29866. My paperwork shows the price as $31700, not sure why fees change the actual price of a vehicle. Pre-delivery fees are ridiculous, just a way to take advantage of customers. They didn't even pull the factory door code number, I had to go back there so they could pull it. Loan processing fee? Isn't that part of their job? Electronic registration filing fee $249? I had just renewed the plate on my car, for two years, it was $159. Don't be an idiot like I was, go somewhere else or refuse to pay the fees. I recently called them because the USB quits working at times, they refused to fix it. I use this dealer for Service on my car and they really do a good job, I highly recommend this service department. However I can't say the same about the body shop. I stopped by because I have a rocker panel that looks loose and I just wanted someone to take a 2 minute look to see if that was something they could repair. I was told quite curtly that I would need to schedule an appointment to see anyone. They further told me that they couldn't let someone just take a quick look because they were doing payroll. I guess payroll is more important than a customer. I will let someone look at my rocker panel but it won't be the body shop at Matthew's Currie. The woman that sits at the desk has no personal interaction skills or she just has a bad attitude. Since I use this dealer for service and have purchased vehicles here before, I hate having to put a negative review. But the body shop does not seem to have the same positive way to deal with customers as does the service and sales departments. read more

So I ordered my 2022 bronco from this dealership Matthew's-Currie ford almost 2 years ago, and my sales guy was excellent. I returned last week to inform the finance guy Andrew Randenburg I traded in my Bronco and I brought the paperwork to cancel my extended warranty for a refund. Of course the dealership will lose money on this transaction. The point is I have called and left multiple emails and messages for Andrew in finance to respond that everything is processed and completed on his end, no reply. This's the deal closer of the dealership that has the the worst customer service skills. This is a small task I'm asking from this guy and he can't accomplish that. Why would you trust him to complete a bigger task of properly completing your paperwork after purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. I tried to speak to someone else to handle this issue and they're all clueless or new employees. Don't buy from this dealership! Beware!!! There are better dealerships than this one.
