I wasn't sure if the prices were good or not because I don't really keep track of that stuff when I shop. so I go to check out and there's 10 people in line and only one person doing checkouts. There were several staff in the store so I don't understand why some weren't transferred to the checkout. I left my cart and went to Walmart.

The seasonal items can be expensive, but their regular items seem reasonably priced. Usually I stop in for chicken and dog supplies. Not everything is price labelled and it's a little disorganized. The employees are friendly and the website is easy to use. Sometimes I'll pull up the item on the website to see what the price is and if it is in stock to save time. They sell numerous items and many of them are available for delivery and/or pick-up. They even offer pet prescriptions. Overall, decent place for pet supplies, gardening/farm equipment, and holiday decorations.

Okay look, they don't make it perfect, hence the one star loss, but it's an incredible service for $10. When you're done, you can also use the air drying station to buff your pooch up extra pretty. There are boxes and carts in the isles which makes it hard to get throughout the store. The new isles for items above $1 are nice and they have tried to keep them organized. Items don't always have tops, lids, etc. The holiday and season area is always a mess and picked over. The staff is not always friendly. The morning staff always greats you but the evening staff is hit or miss. I usually go to the holly springs location.

I tried again and yet another disappointing experience from this location. I was going to buy a large tabletop ornament ($150+). I have only ever exchanged 2 ornaments in 10 years. I know that each Hallmark brick & mortar makes their own rules so I asked what their return policy is since the ornament I wanted to purchase the store display was broken and this one is a fair amount of money. The woman working (dark brown short/shoulder length hair, late 30s to 40s, white) gave me a rude/snarky answer. They do not allow any returns on ornaments ONLY EXCHANGES. I pointed out that the store display was already broken and she got even more defensive. "We get children in here poking and pushing every button and being rough with all the displays so we can't afford to just keep putting new ones out". Okay well that means I would have to figure out what to spend almost $200 of store credit and since I've already purchased 75% of my ornaments at the July and October open houses (at a different store) that might be tough. So I put the ornament back and got a huge reminder of why I don't like coming to this store! I spend A LOT at hallmark each holiday season but I refuse to give this store any of my hard earned dollars! I will continue to drive further to a different hallmark.
