Please do yourself a favor and shop somewhere else! My husband and I purchased a mattress here 2 years ago. At the time the customer service was great! We were happy with our mattress and thought everything was fine. After about a year the mattress began to have huge dips in it that were very uncomfortable. We had a baby and it just wasn't a priority to figure out the warranty. Finally it got so bad my husband called them in January 23. We were told someone would come out and look and see if we qualified for a replacement with the warranty. They said we did, told us an order would be put in and that we would have a new mattress within 6 weeks. That was on January 14th. In the meantime my back pain is awful from the dips in the mattress. It's affecting my daily life to the point that it hurts to pick up my son. We still hadn't heard from them as of last week so my husband called. He spoke to someone who said she would pass out message along and we would hear back from someone. A week goes by with no call. So I call and get transferred to Patrick who apparently handles warranties. He has attitude from the beginning. He tells me we "fell through the cracks" and says we were never told a new mattress would be delivered in 6 weeks. I said we were and he argues with me. Things escalated and he begins yelling at me and calling me a Karen. I'm in shock and obviously yell back as he's insulting me and calling me names. He completely blames me, never once admits that they screwed up and treats me just like the garbage mattress they sold me. Then hands up on me. I call the Woodland store and speak to Ann who says "everyone is human, I'm sure you just said something to upset him" uhhhhhh so it's my fault that Patrick has anger issues and can't do his job? Ok. Her and I get off the phone and she calls me back moments later to tell me Patrick says he never called me a Karen (which he did MANY times), rather he was saying he wasn't caring about what I had to say. Really? Give me a break. So at this point I have a crappy mattress, I've been yelled at and insulted and I realize if I had not called, I would never have gotten the mattress taken care of. This whole process has been a joke. Please save yourself the trouble and shop someplace that doesn't yell at their customers and then lie about it. What a disappointment. read more

Jim Hoglund has been great when needing to buy beds. I have recommended him to may people that I know. He is very knowledgeable about mattresses and has been in the business many years. He once helped me get a bed delivered out of state via a shipping company, so he knows how to think outside of the box. Jim doesn't work at this location frequently, but ask for him when you arrive. Ask him for a deal, his prices usually meet or beat those from other large mattress chain stores. read more

Just received our new mattress and adjustable bed frame. You know how good a company is not just by the way take care of your needs when you are on the sales floor, but how the process moves all the way to the end... and especially when there are hiccups along the way. Our bed was delivered when expected and in great condition. The delivery guys where clean looking and didn't leave until the adjustable bed frame was working how we expected it to, and they didn't give an air if they needed to be somewhere else on Sunday morning. The sales process was not pushy and they took care of the reasons why my wife and had come into the store, to buy a new bed to replace our 13 year old one that was making our bodies ache and our lives irritating. I'm not used to this level of service! Not only were they open on the fourth of July, they had a really great sale going and FANTASTIC customer service. No "grumbles" about anything, just extremely friendly and not pushy at all! And despite the holiday, they still managed to get me next business day delivery - FREE! I was expecting the delivery men to just drop the box off at my front door, but NO! They came in and put it all together for me and were nice about it! Plus, the price was impossible to beat, even the used bed frames on Craigslist couldn't compete with the price I got. I bought the bed frame for my mother and she says the she likes the wood tone, and that the frame is very functional and sturdy. A+! read more

Purchased a mattress from the Davis location right before it closed.m in Dec. 2019. Annoyed that my mom bought the exact same mattress at the Woodland location a few weeks later but she was able to bargain $400 less than what I paid. Well we both ended up hating our mattresses. My mom exchanged hers but then also hated the new one she got. I didn't realized they were still open during SIP and their 3 month exchange policy expired for me. My mom was again able to negotiate something with them but I'm SOL because they told me they'd do nothing for me. I have been sleeping on the floor since 3 months after buying this mattress. My back hurts like no other if I do sleep on it, to the point where I feel I have breathing problems. Matthews could care less telling me they will lose money. Do not feel bad for the little mattress stores and feel the need to buy local. This is the worst company I've ever dealt with and I will only be purchasing from reliable companies going forward. read more

There aren't many businesses these days that value customer service or customer satisfaction like this store does. Ronnie gave us a great deal on a mattress we purchased in March. He even threw in a free bed frame. I chose a bed that my husband thought would be too soft for us. It was extremely comfortable, but he was right, it was a little too plush. I felt bad exchanging the bed, but Ronnie made the exchange effortless and guilt-free and reminded us that's why they had a comfort exchange policy. He took the time and effort to make sure we got a bed we would be really happy with. And boy, are we happy with it! This time around he even threw in some free Tempur-Pedic pillows with our new bed.
