We are already regretting leaving some things behind and plan to come back and scoop them up when we find ourselves out there again. I did pick up a vintage handkerchief in the most beautiful pattern. There was a beautiful mix of vintage and new items and the store was curated and each section was designed in such unique and creative ways. I honestly can't say enough good things about this store. It's an antique setting and it's a very beautiful piece. However, a number of years ago the setting broke, causing it to dig into my finger and it had to be cut off my hand. As a result of that and the age of the setting, the ring essentially split in half. In the process, I managed to lose two of the small diamonds on the side of a larger stone as well. So here I had this beautiful family heirloom, and it was a total mess. It had been sitting in my jewelry box for years. I wanted to give it to my daughter, but definitely not in two pieces with missing stones. But where do you take something like this? And how do you trust someone with something so special? Add to this, I am new to Woodland. So on a whim, I figured I would ask some of my neighbors in our neighborhood Facebook group. I received a lot of recommendations. I also have a lot of trust in yelp. Eventually, I decided I would just go to DJs and see how it felt. The woman there was fantastic. I could tell immediately that she recognized the type of piece this was and I instantly felt like I could trust her. She told me that it was a family business and I sensed from everyone that they really care about what they do. She was able to get me an estimate right away, and I decided I would leave my ring with them. They were a couple of options: I could get it done quickly for a surcharge or wait until their next repair date, which was about two weeks away. I was in no rush. They actually finished the ring a day early! And it's beautiful. It's perfect. And I really feel like it was a reasonable price for the repair. My understanding is they do custom work as well and I have a few ideas. I would love to run by them in the future. In this world of chain stores and online stores, it's nice to find a truly family owned business, particularly when you are dealing with something precious. They really care! Highest recommendation!

If you are looking for a unique ring here is the place to go. They are very patient as you pick out your jewelry and don't try to upsell you. They listen to what you are looking for and help you find just what your heart desires. Their jewelry is truly magical I love that they have free cleanings and they always check to ensure the stones don't come loose. We try to come once a month or every other month depending on our schedules. Run don't walk as they are closing their doors around Christmas as it's time to retire. They have a big sale going on now and I'm hoping to get some matching earrings. It's going to be a sad loss to the community when they close their doors.
