Mattie Jane's on Main is both darling & delicious. The restaurant shares a space with a florist, Poppy's Garden. The space is beautiful and calming. I could probably hang out there all day long; although they may think I was pretty weird if I tried. I stopped in today during the art crawl and ordered the special of the day- a spinach, bacon, tomato, & mozzarella quiche. It was delicious. Very good flavors and the crust had a really nice texture. The special came with the option of soup or salad. I opted for salad with poppy seed dressing. The salad was very flavorful. They had good tea also-which I find important. Nothing worse than bad iced tea. They also have cookies & cupcakes. I got these to go and haven't eaten my cupcake yet but the funfetti cookie is pretty magical. The staff was attentive and pleasant. I will definitely be visiting again!

I've been here twice in 5 days and the food has been great both times. The quiche was especially delicious and the serving size was quite large. The second time I had the Double D, Double S and really enjoyed it! I also had an M&M cookie & a strawberry cookie, perfect way to top off lunch. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely continue eating here.

The deconstructed cabbage roll soup was amazing. All food was excellent and large portions. Do Not miss this place if passing through!

A friend at work brought a Veggie Quiche for a pot luck lunch. It was WONDERFUL!!! Mattie Jane's On Main is worth the trip to Muskogee.

But they've really stepped up their game with the restaurant side of the operation. The food is truly outstanding. The burgers rival any burger in Muskogee. The fried mushrooms are hand breaded and not just fried from frozen, and they are worth getting every single visit. The ranch is top notch. They offer a really delicious Saturday brunch menu, but I wish they would do Sunday brunch. They decorate big for Christmas every year, which is really fun. And they have a seasonal photo area that always has a cute backdrop. The only real struggle with Max's is consistent service. It seems like they are always short-handed and very slow. They take reservations for big groups, but don't actually use them, so you still have to wait, which defeats the purpose of reservations. But I'll continue to go for those fried mushrooms!

Potato skins are tolerable, and the ranch is made in house. Otherwise, this place is terrible and consistently the worst dining experience I have ever had in Muskogee. It takes at least 60-90 minutes to get your meal, which is usually wrong, and good luck getting drinks or appetizers. They are always woefully understaffed, and typically the staff seems like they hate being here as much as we do (tonight was an exception, staff was friendly). Included a photo of the updated fries in case you think they're the nice looking ones from years ago: nope, they're great value "McD's" knockoff fries. Thankfully this last experience convinced our group of friends to never return. Don't make the same mistake as us. If it was a single night of this, I'd give it a pass or wait and see. Well, I waited, and I saw, after 5-6 visits in here is just no salvaging the eating experience here.

A half salad and/or sandwich or half soup. Maybe a spud? My go to sandwiches are either the chicken and avocado -or the Italian. The Italian, I do not recommend for a to go order, because your bread and your clothes will be drenched in the messy oil- vinaigrette type substance on that particular sandwich. Same as the Reuben. I love their Reuben!! However, today I got a simple chips and cheese dip pick up. I am really glad how well they plan your drippy take homes, with a plastic wrapping for the nacho dip cheese. They will toss in a small sample cup with a lid full of sliced jalapeños. I do recommend! *if you're not on a lunch break, enjoy your meal anyway. Try a 50/50 tea!!

Well the guy delivering food to tables said he'd bring it out. 10 minutes more passed beyond my pickup time, and I went to the counter. He "forgot and got stuck on a call". No apology. I then waited a few minutes more before someone gave me my order from the back. And I had no honey mustard that was supposed to be in my order. This wouldn't normally bother me so badly, but it all took so long that lunch break was over. Honestly it's so expensive to eat here that I won't be back without a good coupon anyway.

The other beginning with a C with Hit and Miss service and then you have here which most of my visits as well as my co-workers have always had nothing but raving talkatives about this establishment. The ambience is wonderful and here is where you want to take a date. From the almost Edison type lights that are on top to the brick wall with a nice historical accent and the ceiling tile of decorative nature. I've tried the hamburger here as well as well as the eggs benedict and they have been on spot. The hamburger is not fried on the grill you can actually taste the charness on it from a grill and the yolks on the egg to Benedict is not overcooked it has that nice runny yolk that we all like and a buttery dream hollandaise sauce that's hard to beat. Price is medium to medium high but look at the ambience of this place you will not get too much of that in this small town enjoy it while you are here. Parking might be a little challenging at peak times because you are parking on the street. When you are tired of the mediocre to bad service as well as the food at the other Steakhouse come over here and find yourself not being disappointed. This is coming from my point of view as well as about four other co-workers that have been to both places. OH, I forgot their address I decent looking bar with a nice setup for your tasting pleasure.

As this is probably my 10th time here she always knows what I drink and what I usually order as well as the amount of extras that I need and could almost feel me out when I feel like having a Tiramisu or not. I've been happy dining room experience well and I cannot even complain about these servers here. Everyone I've also gotten has been courteous so Kudos too the management that has been keeping him on the upkeep on the service side. Dining room area is mostly clean but might be in a ketchup mode when they are busy but that's most places isn't it? The parking lot is ample when they're not busy but during hits it will be a challenge to find parking and it's not very well lit but that's minuscule. If you're staying in one of the five hotels that are around here you cannot miss it it's right there on the corner. If there was anything to be picky and complain about I would say is make sure you lift a few weights or get a strong gentleman to open the door for you because the wind is always blowing against it making you think that they are closed or it's locked or something just pull harder until they handle falls off.
