We really needed a new mattress. Ours was in need of replacement and in haste, we had ordered one off the internet and it was awful. We shopped around and found Mattress Central. We were helped and guided and undecided as I like softer mattresses but my wife likes firm. We settled on firm thinking it would soften up. Once we got it, it felt way too firm and we tried to make it work but needed to switch to the plusher version. They have a policy where you can swap out within a few months and they helped us quickly. The delivery team took the firm one away just two days from deciding on the plush one and we are sleeping way better already. I'd definitely recommend Mattress Central! read more

I hate mattress shipping--mostly it's like a used car lot. Mattress Central is COMPLETELY different. David asked what type of sleep experience we preferred, sleep position and firmness. Based on that, he zeroed in on two or three, no "up selling" to the priciest. Because I expressed an interest in a floor model, he made it extremely attractive to buy two mattresses, which I did-- with NO pressure. They have a liberal return policy and price-match. Whatever you do, make sure you include Mattress Central as one of your stops. I was lucky enough to have David's expertise help me navigate the many brands out there. His ultimate goal is to match you with what's best for you and eliminate the need for an exchange; he knows his stuff. There's no upselling or pressure sales shenanigans with David. I took a deep dive into mattresses the past few weeks and what he told me matched with what I found in my research. It's so important to make sure the mattress's innards are of excellent quality; in this case, a few youtube videos explained this in length. I strongly recommend letting him know what kind of sleeper you are, if you have any specific aches/pains or recently went through a surgery, etc. Then lay on the mattress(s) for at least 12-15 minutes, not moving, in whatever position you usually sleep in to see how it feels. Ultimately, after spending two hours testing the recommended mattresses with no success David suggested trying to sleep on my back from now on as my hips and shoulders are too sensitive at this time for any side sleeping pressure relieving mattresses. Hopefully my current mattress will last a bit longer and when I figure out how to fix my sleeping style/pressure points I will definitely be back as I eventually WILL need a new one! read more
