I just bought a new mattress after 20 plus years. After researching different stores, Mattress Pros was the ONLY one with all great reviews. I also wanted another Chattam & Wells and they sold them. I called and was greatly surprised to have the owner Chris answer! Needless to say, I went there and met John (I believe was his name, the salesman) and he guided me to pick out the best possible mattress. Not only did he help but also advised me to get a lower box spring since the mattress sits so high. I got it yesterday and the guys who delivered it to me were great also. It is refreshing to buy something like this from a family owned business and everytime I called them not only was it a live person -- but either Chris or John. So they both knew me right away. I had shopped around the valley and the west side for a couple of weeks. I had visited Chris Fields early on and I was quite impressed with his knowledge of the methods of construction and manufacturers choice of materials and fabrics. I was interested in a firm mattress made of completely organic materials. Chris had me tryout quite a few mattresses to compare and contrast. I felt more like he was concerned with the perfect mattress for my needs rather than selling me on anything in particular. After a thorough search, I returned to Chris and without mentioning any other quotes he beat everyone else by nearly $200.00. I love my new bed. I'm sleeping longer and more soundly. Me and my boyfriend were shopping around for a king mattress for a while through Craigslist and some other stores around and nothing seemed right, either pricing was too high or too low or the quality just wasn't doing it. We were driving around looking on yelp and mattress pros came up, so we came in and Chris immediately came up and was very helpful, he showed us a few options and we chose the one that was best for us. There is a lovely selection of mattresses as well so that was awesome. Since our bed platform hasn't arrived yet and we did not want to put our new mattress on the floor, he offered us a temporary mattress so we don't have to sleep on the floor. Found this place on Yelp and saw all the great reviews so I thought I would check it out. It was also close by to my apartment so I thought "win-win." Chris was very patient and helpful. This was my first time making a big purchase like a mattress so I was grateful for his patience.
