After spending much time testing out and learning about multiple high-end mattresses at various stores, my husband and I ended our search at the Ortho Mattress store in Culver City.  We tried out all the high-end ones, but we fell in love with the Ojia Luxetop Plush mattress the minute we lay on it.  It's now weeks later and we couldn't be happier with our choice.  As much as we love the mattress, we also loved working with store manager, Vladimir.  He was patient and knowledgeable and went out of his way to help us understand mattress construction and to explain the many advantages of a completely organic mattress.    We highly recommend the Ortho Mattress store, and the deliciously comfortable Ojia Luxetop Plush Organic mattress. I had the most wonderful experience buying a mattress at this Culver City Ortho. I've been needing a new mattress for a while and I've driven by the store several times before going in. I've gone to several other stores with advertised sales and could not find the mattress I needed or could afford with what they said they had on sale and a few stores had salespeople who wanted to sell me a mattress, any mattress kinda thing and that got real grading, I finally went into this Ortho. My salesperson was Dan -- and he was fantastic! Instead of 'selling' me, he asked all the right questions first about my sleeping needs before showing me anything. After hearing me out, the funny thing was, he showed me one set he thought I'd like, and I did, but before he let me settle on that one, he showed me others--had me try them out, told me about how they were made and why they might be what I wanted. Didn't matter, low price/higher price. I'm a person who likes getting options like that, especially on a big purchase on something I was going to have for a while. It took me a bit to narrow down all the great mattress options available to me and in my price range, and Dan didn't mind. He answered every question I had, he was patient. The bed I chose -- I chose and I am more than happy with my purchase. It didn't hurt my purse, It fit my needs (firm, firm, firm!) -- and I didn't expect all this. And call one hour in advance. It's not 7:09 pm. So I guess I won't receive my mattress between 4 pm - 8 pm as promised. They should call and say they are running late. I purchased a twin xl bed that came with a frame and box spring in August 2022 and it was delivered August 16th. Everything was lovely the delivery drivers were helpful and friendly. I bought this for my 19yr old son who stands 6'5" weighing in at around 230. The beginning of October he says his box spring bent. Not thinking at first I was going to buy another foundation, but then I thought maybe it's covered under warranty. I called and talked to Linda who then told me it's covered just send her photos to her email. I sent it to her and she said it was stained and damaged which makes it automatically not covered under warranty. I call her back and she says because it was outside its soiled. Then she proceeds to say in all her 12 years she has never seen a box spring break like that so it's not a manufacturer defect. So what is it then??? We barely had it for 2 months, if it's not a defect I don't know what it is. She starts telling me about what breaks which would be considered a defect, but I wasn't trying to hear that. If there was a weight limit then they should've said so. So now I'm supposedly responsible for replacing the box spring? Not so! read more

This is the worst experience I've had. I specifically was looking for a firm mattress due to medical reasons. The mattress within less a year has uneven indentations. When I called for a replacement, I'm told that I need to add more money to replace because the sale is only afforded to first time buyers. Paying $3,000+ for a mattress it should be assured that it will last more than a year. Please do not buy from Ortho if you value your health. read more

A pretty big showroom with a wide selection of mattresses and very helpful salespeople. There is a parking lot located on the side of the store so no need to drive around looking for parking. You should be able to find a mattress that suits you. As we walked in, we were overwhelmed with the variety of mattresses and what the differences were. Mary helped us decipher what kind of mattress was best for us. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and very easy to talk to. She knew everything about the different mattresses and what kind of mattress fit our needs (taking into account back problems, etc.). She was comfortable and not pushy at all. We were able to get a very good deal on a mattress and felt comfortable with our purchase. They have a generous return policy and warranty. Delivery was free and the entire purchase was just very comfortable and easy. We will be returning for our next mattress purchase. read more

Never thought I would rate and write a note about a mattress purchase, however, we received exceptional service and it is worth it to let others know of a great experience. Mike, the manager of this mattress store helped me months ago and explained in detail the features of the final three I was considering. He explained the pros and cons of each and I went with one that just felt better in the store. He said the only advantage of the one I didn't go with was that it stayed cooler at night and with the "good night sleep guarantee" I could exchange of not completely satisfied. I always wonders how genuine that promise was and sure Enough I ended up feeling warm at night and put the guarantee to the test. When I went back, Mike was there and was very receptive to my request to exchange and even had me try the one I wanted again to see if I still liked it. He said no problem Abd in fact that it was great sleep that he wanted for customers and that it was not inconvenient at all and that he was happy to exchange at the very small stated fee I. He walked me through beds within my price range (between 600-1000) and we ended up finding a clearance bed avant gx firm which is a memory foam bed with gel. Recently bought a mattress here on their Memorial Day sale weekend. Had a very good experience at the store, and spent lots of time trying out the different mattresses. They let me rest and weren't pushy or hovering, which I loved. The 4 star reason isn't technically their fault, but the mattresses I bought is definitely being returned after the required 30 day trial period. It is way firmer than the model that was on the floor, which is to be expected, as the floor model has had plenty of people jumping on it, but it immediately felt so much harder than the one in the store. I've been sore waking up every morning since I have gotten it. I also didn't notice in the store, that the mattress is super deep, and that coupled with a normal box spring, the bed is so tall! I didn't even think to ask about getting a low profile box spring when I was buying it, as this wasn't mentioned as an option, but I wish I had asked. Overall though, a really great and easy buying experience! If my bed doesn't start to feel softer soon, hopefully swapping it out is just as easy :-/ read more

We came in late on a Sunday and Michael was super patient and helpful. He didn't try to force us into the most expensive mattress, but instead listened to our needs and helped us find a great mattress on sale. The mattresses can be delivered within 24 hours, which is great because JCPenney across the street told us it would take 2-3 weeks. The mattress hasn't been delivered yet because we haven't yet moved in, but so far, it's been a 5 star experience. One thing I don't like about this place is that they cover the prices on the mattresses, so you have to flip a flap up to comparison shop (makes it hard to price compare). Updated after delivery: They also failed to deliver the mattress encasements we ordered both times they delivered the mattresses, so my boyfriend had to go pick them up. They give you a free pillow if you write a Yelp review, but it doesn't have to be positive. read more
