I had a great purchasing experience. However, delivery administration was rocky. They promised a delivery date and then told me that they didn't receive the delivery so it would have to be the next week. My delivery was included/complimentary so it's not like I was losing money for the delay in delivery. But I couldn't hell but wonder what that means for people who lay for their delivery. When I was able to call to try and figure out what happened, it was apparent to me customer service is only a priority during a purchase. The person I bought from was apathetic at best over the phone-- even sprung a little attitude when I called. I'm sure he had to deal with the disgruntled grumblings of other customers who (probably paid for their delivery and) were upset with the delay in their delivery as well. At that moment over the phone, I wish I hadn't bought from mattress depot or at least this location. Regardless the mattress is wonderful and I'm quite content to sleep on it, after it was delivered. And the delivery guys were professional and careful with placement and setup. read more

So first you need to know that I _hate_ furniture shopping. I hate the artificial living/bed rooms. I hate the inflated prices. And most of all I hate the incredibly insincere sales people. Worse than a used-car-salesperson is furniture-salesperson! People who work on comission have a very large incentive to manipulate and LIE. That said, when we went here to find a new mattress the sales guy (I think his name was Terry) it was like talking to a real person. He had a couple sales-y moments, but hey, thats his job. Over all I was impressed with his authenticity and sincerity, as well as his knowledge. We went there during their anniversary sale, so the prices were excellent. I am not sure how they would be in general. They had natural latex beds that were mostly all natural latex and high quality. No other store in town had these. Honestly, I was most impressed with the delivery guys, Vincent & Hugo. They were AWESOME. Fast, efficient, friendly, professional and just all around nice guys. They get five stars. Came to town to stay with my mom during covid-19. Desperately needed a new mattress to stay for longer than a week. All stores were closed of course. But I was able to contact the owner who got a manager (Eric!! My hero!) to meet me at the store within 10 minutes. He was so kind, knowledgeable, and very safe about keeping social distancing. Not one to shop around but glad I did this time. Prices are about the same as other stores with the same beds but our salesman John sealed the deal for us. No pressure, knowledgeable and in a good mood for being close to closing time, we had no idea what we wanted but found a good deal on a good bed. Very dissatisfied with Mattress Depot! I bought a Beauty rest Vanderbilt collection mattress from them November 2016 and by around April of 2017 it started breaking down. I called the store and they wouldn't do anything but help me look for another more expensive mattress - the mattress I bought was the floor display and think it was around $800-900. Of course I fell for the sales pitch, my problem not there's, you know the "we're local, we'll take care of you, you have any problems and we'll make it right" I wrote the mattress off as a loss, which I was pretty upset about only having the mattress for 5-6 MONTHS! When I had the mattress for a year, it was terrible, called again to plead my case, response was yep, sounds like the mattress is broken down and you should replace it! No discount but a more expensive mattress. At this point there was no way I would buy another mattress from them. I bought a mattress from another company and called mattress Depot asking if they could dispose of the mattress bought from them at no charge. They said no, unless I was buying a mattress from them. I explained how dissatisfied I was and them disposing of the mattress was an opportunity for them to have a some what satisfied customer. They said no because it would cost them $20 to dispose of the mattress, two guys labor and a couple gallons of diesal fuel!!! I literally live within 3 miles of the store!!! read more

Best prices around, yes. And the clerks aren't too annoyingly pushy like everywhere else you go - in fact, this was probably one of the best comission-based sale I've every experienced. The delivery guys were great too. My lower scores are for the product itself. I've only had my mattress a year and it is already badly, badly sagging in the middle. And it's a pillow top of course, so I can't flip it. We are still paying the bed off and no way we can afford another one, which is too bad since I have a medical condition that makes me wake up in a huge amount of pain every morning and this bed is making it worse. The bed seemed like good quality when we purchased it, but it shouldn't be sagging so badly, this early. I can't help but feel screwed with a bad decision. read more

My salesman was Dave. He was wonderful! I had to take both of my toddlers in with me and they were running around being wild as usual. He stayed calm and talked me through the mattress choices. He smiled at my children's behavior and was extremely patient with all three of us. We found the right mattress for us and purchased it in a timely manner. He was very sociable and kind. He even gave my kids high-fives and a quarter each. Which of course thrilled them! He carried the mattress out to my car and loaded it up for me as well! Purchased a Mattress from Mattress Depot in Olympia WA 6-10-2018. It was a Simmons Luxor-Pedic. It is the worst mattress EVER within the month I wanted to return the mattress the manager said the warranty was invalid because I didn't purchase the $40.00 mattress pad he wanted to sell and to give it some time. Did not say at the time of sale if I didn't purchase there would be no warranty. Every day upon waking I have back pain and six months later still the pain. They were so sneaky reduced the cost of the mattress by the $140.00 delivery fee so they can say FREE delivery. No thanks, this one cost 1380.00. If you were to get a replacement the value of your mattress is less. Very poor customer service when you try and buy from local as advertised. read more

I had the best service here! Jon helped us pick out the perfect not too soft/not too firm mattress (Dream Balance memory foam) and we decided to upgrade to the midlevel adjustable base. We got the bed delivered the next day and enjoyed sleeping on it and playing with the adjustable base. When we woke up we saw that 3 out of 6 legs were bent. I contacted the store as well as the manufacturer of the base (Bed Tech). Between the two companies, it was determined to be a fluke manufacturer defect and they immediately sent workers with 6 new legs. I was treated with the best customer service you could ask for and was never blamed. They said they've never seen anything like it before and I was not charged for the new legs or for the extra home visit. Doug was a huge help through all of this and both Doug and Jon need a raise! 100% would recommend this company to anyone! Great prices and WOW they take care of their customers! Super impressed!!
