Nothing against this particular store but Mattress Firm, you suck and your mattresses suck. Giant tufted divots, horribly uncomfortable. Horrible industry. Can no one make a halfway decent mattress? Me and my husband decided to drop by at this store during the memorial day sale weekend. A sales girl (can't remember her name) greeted us and asked what we were looking. She took us around showed couple of options we tried 3 mattress. We asked if they had some more options in Firm. The sales girl reached out and check with the manager on duty that day that if the store had some more options. And here's the reply that came to us from the supervisor/manager "I think she has shown you all / you have already tried the firmest mattresses options that we have. That would be the firmest that we have any if you want something firmer than that, then there is granite available in Home depot next door - we got you covered " Really, this is how you talk to your customer's ! Probably you don't know that yes there are mattress available which are Firm and not stone or granite ! Do you know Beauty rest has them ... If your store doesn't carries it you have no right to taunt the customer ! This is how you treat your potential customers ! Not at all acceptable . Horrible customer service ! Apart from this I could literally see he wasn't interested in customer or bothered about us.. was already busy chatting with an another store associate ! We recently bought a new house and need 2 king size mattresses/box spring/base. I am taking my almost $2000+ business to some other store. My boyfriend and I came here to look for a new mattress. Scottie was SO helpful and informative! Plus he had a very charming personality. He was easy to talk to and incredibly knowledgeable. He has a medical background so he really does know what his customers are looking for and what they need from a bed. We've had this mattress for about a month now, I prefer the softer and my boyfriend the more firm but it's been perfect for us both. We also got a remote controlled bed frame which was a smart upsell from Scottie :) The day that was delivered they had given us a defective model, but it was very quickly rectified. It only took a few days because our work schedules conflicted, otherwise I believe they would've had it ready the following day. The positive point is the fast delivery. They delivered our full bed on a bank holiday. However, they are not doing any effort on the price (we were obliged to show them the sale discount mentioned in the store to get this discount) and they say that you can change your mind within 3 months but they forget to specify on what. We cannot return the frame and since they did not give us the good advice in the store, it appears that the bed is way to high. We can't return the pillows either, even if there are still in their boxes and we did not use them. Poor customer client. read more

Walked in supremely ready to buy. Literally cash in hand. We were greeted by an associate who apologized for his shabby appearance. Which was unnecessary. I surmised that because he wasn't dressed like the other employees, they must have called him in last minute or something else out of the norm. At the time I was actually a little glad we got "the t-shirt guy" as opposed to the "dress code guy". We really wanted a quick experience not at all to deal with pushy salesmen. Any way... cash in hand... We're shown to two mattresses, each less applicable for our described needs than the one before it. We ourselves stumble upon something that suits us but when we turn around to ask about it, the salesperson has disappeared. After tracking him down, he tells us he'll check stock. 15 minutes later my pregnant wife looses patience and goes to find him again. He's with another customer. We walked out immediately. 20 minutes later we were being handed our receipt from Factory Mattress across the street. My experience there was incredible (link to review below). Also, and really more disappointing than the customer service, the prices weren't excellent. This is one of their clearance outlets and the first dozen sets or so are $3000. Best price! Great service Yesterday Me and husband were in the MattressFirm store #004011 on N Hwy 183 in Austin, TX. A employee named Angelina Prema helped us, and she was absolutely wonderful. After an incredibly frustrating encounter at another stores (NOT MattressFirm), Angeline completely turned our moods around. She was incredibly helpful and quick at finding us the exact mattress we were looking for, as well as being very knowledgeable and personable. Some of the best customer service we have had in a long time. I will certainly be giving this store more business after such a great experience. The delivery service was on time. Great experience. This place came highly recommended by two family members. We were already approved a week prior to coming into the store. Applied for progressive leasing online. Came into the store Saturday 8/10/19 to test out beds. Patricia was there to help us out. She did the whole speel about each bed we tried out but there was no haggle or upsale approach because we were already set on getting a bed that day, no matter what (with mattress firm or not) Process was fast and simple. She did admit to being fairly new to the position. We were surprised because she did a great job! she was also able to get us next day delivery. Omission of Information Is Still Dishonesty Long story short, the Mrs. and I were shopping to replace our aging tempurpedic. We went to Mattress Firm and Factory Mattress. Mattress firm was $400.00 higher for the exact same mattress, and Factory Mattress is a local business (Texas at least) so we went with Factory Mattress. I decided as a consolation prize, I'd buy a couple of the $130.00 tempurpedic pillows from Mattress Firm. The store clerk neglected to tell us that if we didn't like them we were stuck with them, but he was quick to tell us this when I tried to return them after discovering they were incompatible with our sleep positions. $300.00+ down the drain. Not telling a customer that all sales are final is poor salesmanship, poor customer service, neglectful and dishonest. I will NEVER consider giving this company another dollar, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering a purchase to give their business to Factory Mattress. I bought a $99.00 cool touch mattress cover from them that turned out to be to "slippery" and even though they couldn't' take it back, they knocked the $99.00 off what we had already paid after already beating Mattress Firm's price by $400.00. I experienced a warranty issue with a mattress I purchased about a year prior to this experience. I was unable to take care of the mattress replacement due to a car accident. Once able to deal with the mattress issue, the company I originally purchased from merged with "mattress Firm" causing confusion. I spoke to Aaron Brock, who quickly came to my rescue and helped me! Aaron went above and beyond to get me into a New mattress before the end of the weekend, calling managers, warranty depts, etc. Aaron worked on this for 2 days after he heard that the warranty dept was giving me a hard time. I was out running errands in the area and decided to pop into Mattress Firm and see if I could replace my broken bed frame, but when I got to the door of the store I realized some bad news--it was after hours and they were closed! My disappointment quickly faded when I was waved into the store by Caleb and another associate and asked what they could help me with, even though they were both at the end of their shift and probably ready to go home. They showed me a couple options and helped me make a great purchase that was both high quality and within my budget. Going even more above and beyond, Caleb carried the heavy frame out to my car for me, which was parked on the other side of the lot from the store. 5-star wonderful customer service aside, the product purchased is also great. My wife and I went on 6/20 to get a new bed, the salesperson Luis was nice and helpful. But he didn't inform us the sheets we got were non returnable. I called the day before our delivery to cancel the base and sheets talked to a salesperson named Andrew, he said he would need to reach out to the manufacturer on the sheets and would get back to me but failed to do that part. Then I received a call from customer service saying if I was unhappy with the mattress there would be a 20%restocking fee plus 100$ pick up charge, which they also never told us but I didn't contact them about the mattress only the sheet bundle we got talked into buying. So I responded to the email stating my problem is not with the mattress but the sheets. Today I was finally able to talk to someone and they told me they can't take the sheets bundle back. Even if the box is unopened once it's in the UPS truck it is to late to cancel that item. I even called the company that does the sheets purecare. They said it's up to the retailer if they want to do the return or not but normally they wouldn't do a return either. Yes we are happy with our mattress but very unhappy with these few surprises. read more
