My husband and I have been looking for a mattress for our daughter. We didn't want a standard spring mattress, but didn't know much else about mattresses. I expected buying a mattress to feel like you were dealing with a car salesman. Steven was extremely helpful, knowledgable, and best of all not pushy. We told him about what we wanted to spend and what type of mattress we had in mind. He took us around the store showing all of our options. He told us details about each mattress helping us pick the perfect one. We made a mistake on what size our daughters crib converts to. We bought a twin XL, but we needed a full. We went back the same day and explained our mistake. Steven was very understanding and quickly fixed our mistake. Our daughter loves her new bed. I bought a mattress from Mattress Firm previously and was satisfied so when I needed a new one, I thought this would do. The service was fine. The product is not. After 1 year, the problems began. 1 year. It sags in the middle, it's incredibly uneven and uncomfortable, bunches up due to the adjustable frame and the sides are breaking down. I went through the rigorous, complicated process for the manufacturer's warranty only to be told it is "normal body impressions" almost immediately. The product is clearly flawed but there is NO accountability for their product. It's poor quality. I was offered a 20% discount on a new mattress, but with a lot of restrictions attached. Pass, no thanks. I responded back and was told my case is closed. Customer satisfaction means nothing. Save yourself the time,money and hassle. This place is a scam. read more

I went to the one in Anaheim Hills. I bought my mattress online and need to exchange it. Vincent helped me and it worked out great. DO NOT tear off your tags or you cannot exchange. I went home and texted the tags to Vincent to make sure I could exchange it. Worked out great. Really easy. AND, I got a refund of $64 because the lower model bed had a pillow top! Only service as exceptional as Thomas D. gave us could impel me to return to Yelp because everyone should know that he is FANTASTIC! He listened to what we wanted and showed us various options. He was patient while we tried them out, and it wasn't a short visit: I actually tried one model so long that an entering customer thought the store had someone demonstrating bed use! He answered my three thousand questions knowledgeably. In fact, I felt like all the research I did before I entered the store was not strictly necessary because he could answer ALL of my questions (and those answers aligned with the prior research I had done). Mattress firm store associate was great got exactly what I asked for, so set up delivery. Day of delivery was on time, the issue was the corner of mattress was soaked, took over an hour to dry with a heater fan. I know it looks like only a small area was affected but the rest of the mattress is black so unable too see any water stains. read more

Would never buy from this company again . purchasing the mattress was very easy. We had a problem in the customer service we received from the Bell Towne center was the worst experience I've ever had. We were very pleased with the sales associate Carrie and her then manager Matthew. They were both knowledgeable and made purchasing easy. several months after our purchase the mattress started sinking in the center. when we contacted The store we were advised to contact the manufacture NECTAR. we reached out to the manufacture and we're told that they would be more than happy to replace a mattress with their forever warranty. They did say the claim had to start with mattress firm. I contacted the store and spoke with the new manager Thomas De ma torre. he advised me he was new and did not know how to handle this and he would get back with me. It is now been three months since our first conversation. Thomas never got back to me. I have gone into the store several times. I've asked him why he is not keeping communication open with me as to what the status of my claim is. He continues to tell me he will get back with me once he gets direction from the district manager. As I said this is been going on now for three months. Nectar is more than willing to replace the mattress and I have an email to back that up. i'm just blown away that this is a store manager and he has not gotten back to me to follow up anytime during the last three months. I have finally escalated this to mattress firm's corporate office. Worst experience ever read more

I was very surprised with how much the sales representative knew about the "science" of sleep. He explained a lot about what makes a restful sleep, what the pros and cons of all the mattress types were, and didn't just fall back on "the most expensive mattress is the best", but really talked about what the best mattress would be for our "sleep goals and habits", which sounds stupid, but it really is different for different people. read more

My boyfriend and I bought a bed yesterday with the help of the sales associate Roger Pitts, it was supposed to be delivered today between 2 & 4pm. We gave them both my boyfriend's number and my number since my boyfriend would be at work all day and I would be home all day. By 3:50pm I called the store and another sales associate answered, i told him I've been waiting & he said he would call the movers and get back to me. Well apparently the movers only called my boyfriend's number and said that there was no one home which is a lie because I've been here waiting all day. Now we have to wait 2 days for the bed to be delivered. I'm pregnant and we have been sleeping on a damn inflatable mattress and were so excited for the bed but NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT 2 EXTRA DAYS for something that was not our fault. I've never purchased a bed before from a store, Justin made it easy giving me various options that would help my shoulders as well as the spouse's lower back issues. He never pushed me to any one bed, but was patient while i laid on several different beds. He personally made sure that I got the bed I was looking for. I'm disabled (almost completely bedridden), I bought a mattress from here, and was asked if I have a bed frame at home, I said yes. She said no problem, and arranged to have my mattress delivered and to be set up "by her guys". Yes, it's on my receipt that they were supposed to set it up. But when it got here, they refused to set it up because I have a bed frame which wasn't purchased from their store... wtf?! I'm severely disabled, currently fighting for my life, emaciated, plus I have 13 disc injuries in my back and severe nerve damage in my legs. My 80 year old dad and I had to carry an EXTREMELY HEAVY Purple mattress, then set it up. This is absolutely disgusting behavior from this store. You all should be ashamed, especially you, Carrie Wells, for lying to me about this while trying to sell me everything in the store. I 100% would have bought it from a different company. I came into this location today in a hunt for a long overdue mattress. I have always considered mattress shopping akin to house or car shopping. More drama and agitation than needed in my life. Picked out a mattress & needed a full size that wasn't in stock. The night before the delivery their sprinkler system went off in the warehouse & ruined the whole delivery order. Instead of having to wait another 7 days for a new mattress to be ordered, Roger at the store sent me out an upgraded loaner mattress the following day. None of this was his fault but he went above & beyond for me, the customer. Who does that these days? I recommend seeing Roger at the 3rd Street & Bell Rd store when you are looking for a mattress.
