They bought the rug they didn't put it down because they put the bed down first and they didn't want to take the bed apart to put the rug down. Yeah I am a 65-year-old widow I just had back surgery I can't do that so I just I have complained to the store and they said well you know that that's just it like doesn't matter they were supposed to be a comforter and they said it's not on my sales ticket it is I just have a thoroughly disgusted experience with Ashley. The sales people that sold me this Marian, and summer did not pick up my calls and I would not take talk to me so they gave me the decorative pillows that go with the comforter so I will take those back because I'm gonna use for them and they can tell them away. Why should I empty them with my trash so I would not recommend going to that store because their aftercare is horrible like they will tell you anything but their aftercare is absolutely awful so would not recommend that so if I have to go to Savannah to find furniture that's what I'll Do.

Since the previous owners to the new ones after Big Lots closed down and reopened with new owners…read morethey have YET to fix their AIR CONDITIONER. I have always loved Big Lots but due to the conditions inside the store it makes it extremely difficult to stay longer than a few minutes. My family and I went in yesterday at this location in Brunswick Georgia and had to leave before completing our shopping list. I felt So terribly bad for their employees in particular the one lady ringing us up. While we were trying to shop we began to sweat profusely and when we decided to leave prematurely and approached our unfortunate cashier...we noticed beads of sweat dripping down her eyes behind her glasses. It's bad enough that the customers have to endure that kind of heat (yesterday's temperatures was 104° with a heat index of 113°-outside), but just IMAGINE being an employee there having to work a full shift in those conditions and it's not even August yet. I'm sure that it's affe ting their business. In fact when we were in our car making calls to try and get them help with AC repair, 4 grown men entered the store and in less than a minute walked right back out again empty handed. I have to give a star rating inorder to post this review so I'm being generous…read more I had been doing business with this store for many years with no issues until this past week when I wanted to get a stackable washer and dryer unit. I sold my washing machine in order to get the new unit. They delivered a broken unit that had been used. The associate misled us after getting our money. Four days later, we are still without a way to wash laundry, to make it worse they said they would be getting some new units on their truck by today but now they say that the units are hard to get. I believe they should have let us know that from the first day. I am so disappointed with this business. Now we have to wait to get our money back.

She was the only one working in the store and not only attended to us but she attended to others that came in and also took payments at the same time. We received our furniture and the delivery guys were from the Jesup store. The locking mechanism on our sectional was broken and would not lock. I was told after the attemp by the delivery person to take a hammer to it that the new piece that was ordered was damaged when they received it so the store manager Sandy had them take the floor model piece from the store as a replacement. To me this is passing off a used (and broken) piece of furniture off as new with no notice. The dust cover on the bottom of the sectional was hanging off of the armed couch and stuffing is coming out of that piece as well. I contacted the manager who just said we will order you a new one and rushed me off the phone with no concern or apology. This after I had to call as I never heard when the couch would be delivered and I had to call to ask... Sandy. It is a huge and expensive sectional... beware... seems like this store has issues and takes no accountability nor try to make it right with no real concern for customer.satisfaction. Glory is the only one in the store (at least that I encountered) who was helpful and should be applauded for her work. If a customer orders something new maybe it should be given new... because that is what is paid for. Sandy needs some customer service and management skill training. Looking at a very large electric sectional with another sales person that was not plugged in. My husband had to plug it in for himself havint to find the cord and find the plug. Really. I will say the delivery guys from the Jesup store were very nice and embarrassed for the issues.​
