My family went there to buy a mattress. The person was busy with another customer. That was fine. But at least we were expecting to hear 'hello' or 'i will be with you soon'. We felt like invisible men until we left after 20-30 minutes. When we were about to leave, the customers left and he was already free but still, we heard nothing from staff. Didn't even try anything. There's a saying, you spend 1/3rd of your life on your bed, even more time in bed than a car! Now I've always slept on a cheap mattress, so this really got me thinking, I really need a good bed considering my back issues, so I came in on a Sunday with a plan and a budget. I didn't necessarily intend on leaving with a purchase, but I did. I suffer from frequent muscle spasms in my lower back. I'm a back sleeper, so I did some research and learned that an adjustable base would help alleviate the pain, where you elevate your feet, so this was a must have. I was greeted by Ryan, who I ended up purchasing my mattress with. I literally spent 3 hours in the store trying different mattresses, and debating back and forth on which one to get. It's a big investment, so I give kudos to Ryan for his patience. I was really debating between the Serta iseries hybrid and tempurpedic, but the tempurpedic was just too expensive. I ended up with the iseries hybrid 3000 with the MF 600 adjustable base (it has the ability to lift head and feet, and massage options with memory functions). No complaints so far, i haven't had any back issues since (it's been over a week sleeping in my new mattress). Ryan worked with me in obtaining my budget, and was quite sincere throughout the entire process, answering my many, many questions. So now, I sleep like a baby. I have my elevated head and feet in almost a zero gravity position, turn on my feet massage, and turn on some timed sleep music on Spotify. Sleep like a baby. Do yourself a solid and get a mattress that you'll be happy with. Oh and an adjustable base. Definitely needed! read more

The store itself and the people who work there are great. But I bought my mattress only 4 years ago and one side is really sinking in. So I was kindly told about the warranty and I was so happy that we would be able to get a refund to get a new mattress but nope that didn't happen. They gave us the warranty people to contact and we did everything they asked for pictures and measurements with their paper rulers. Only to be told that it was normal. Now if I, the customer is saying I can't not sleep on the mattress because when I lay on it I sink and I'm not super heavy for it to sink like that. Only to be told That it's normal and basically nothing will be done. That is so wrong. Although, I wonder if I would have paid them the $80.00 they said someone can come out but it will cost me for them to look at the mattress, would I have then gotten the warranty granted? I will no longer buy from them nor would I recommend anyone to purchase their mattress from them after this experience. Our mattress is only 4 years old. I have never had a mattress go bad so quickly. This would have been the first time I would have ever had to use the warranty and it was denied no matter how uncomfortable the mattress is now. Good luck to anyone who has to use the warranty with this company. I literally am lower than my husband when we sleep together. Our experience was AMAZING! We decided last minute to get my parents a mattress for Christmas. A tedious decision. We went to three different stores before we came here. As soon as we walked into the store we noticed a customer being very rude to the employee there. We overheard the conversation they were having and the employee, Nohemí, handled the situation very well. Despise the rude comments the customer was saying to her she was very professional about the situation. We waited until she was able to help us, as soon as she was available, she came right over to us and she didn't even let the prior situation reflect on her service towards us. SHE WAS AMAZING. This review is not for the staff because they are great but it is for the unsanitary product I received and the RIDICULOUS "delivery" The original mattress I received immediately gave me an allergic reaction. I developed a rash after sleeping on the mattress. I went to Mattress Firm to explain what was going on and asked for a replacement. The employee was quick to fix the problem with scheduling our mattress to be exchanged and a new one delivered as quickly as possible. Delivery day came and the drivers drove up to my house, attempted to park their vehicle (by no means was parking unavailable since this was around 11am), felt it was too much of a hassle and drove off. I sat and watched them out of my window the whole time. Upon calling the store to see why they didn't attempt to deliver, I was told they were at my residence for 15 min, knocked on my door, and never got an answer so they took off. Well, Not only is this untrue, but I have cameras to prove they never came up to my door as I sat watching them half heartedly attempt to do their job. Mind you I am also 7 months pregnant and sleeping on my couch because of the reaction the current mattress is giving me. The only recourse I have was to write a review since there is not a corporate number to call as I was told and no other way to escalate the situation. I am completely disappointed with the item I received since it's completely possible the original mattress I received was a return and I am reacting to maybe a cleaning agent put on the mattress for resale and disappointed with the lack of delivery, as well as the impossible way to speak with the proper party to get this resolved. read more

I'd recommend checking out their website to do some research beforehand (and look at prices) and then visit the store to ask about it. Prices may differ online and store because each runs separate promos, but the store price matches immediately and up to 4 months after purchase (I saved more than a few bucks with some basic research). We really enjoyed the thorough knowledge that Nohemi Medina shared with us. Nohemi listened to our needs and walked us through several options in mattresses -we wanted a CA King Firm. After about an hour or so, she provided a quote so we could make sure this expensive purchase was exactly what we wanted. After about an additional day of researching and going to other places, as we were informed of MattressFirm price match. Needless to say, we went back and purchased the mattress with the adjustable base. The President Sale was an awesome sale. Nohemi is a very nice, pleasant, and patient young lady. We are seasoned/elderly people. She explained and walked us through the process from buying to expectations of the install. I wanted to share that the delivery guys, Victor as excellent & his helper, were well mannered & provided excellent service. They took away the old mattress- CA King from the 2nd fl then proceeded to bring all the items we purchased, 2 Split CA King Mattresses & Adjustable bases. All within 30 minutes. These guys are great!!! If we needed any adjustments later we could call it in and get on the schedule if needed. We truly enjoyed our experience with MattressFirm in Alhambra right across from Costco. Great job on providing excellent service from beginning to end. This is a satisfied customer regarding service. As for the mattress we will need to take time to adjust as it is firm but with a 10-year warranty and one year return! Let's hope we don't have to worry about that. read more

My experience here started off well and went south when I was ready to close the deal. I realized I was being cheated out of hundreds of dollars. Initially, I was impressed with their variety and the sales reps willingness to help me find the right mattress. I decided on a medium firm mattress which had the price tag of 899 and advertised a FREE adjustable base. I explained to the sales person that the adjustable base was not something I needed as I knew I would not be using that feature. His response: "well it's free so it won't hurt to have". I was ready to close the deal but time was cut short so I had to return. ****** After later telephone negotiations with the same sales person I found that the mattress was only worth $599, the additional $300 expense was the price of the adjustable base which I WAS TOLD WAS FREE. I understand sales tactics will be implemented however, they are unacceptable when the sales person is trying to force the customer to purchase something they don't want. I specifically said the adjustable base was NOT a feature I NEEDED NOR WANTED. But I was secretly going to be paying for that feature as it was already included in the price. I am outraged at the fact that I thought I was receiving a deal when really the mattress and all of it's supposed coils is not worth $899. The adjustable base they were forcibly including in the price point but advertising as "FREE" is worth half the ACTUAL price of the mattress and brought the cost of a $599 mattress to almost $1000. I've never felt compelled to write a review, this is my first and it sucks that it is such a negative one. But this place was just trying to get a sale out of me and didn't care about what I was looking for. If you don't want to get scammed do more research and be weary of "FREE". read more

Reeling from a horrible experience with Bob's Discount Furniture (avoid at all costs!) I walked into Mattress Firm in Alhambra. I was in need of a standard box spring as the low profile I had been using with my old frame no longer worked with the new one I just purchased. Nohemi was not only super helpful she also tried to help calm my anger with the other store. She was able to locate a box spring thru their outlet. I actually paid more for delivery than the box spring LOL. Worth the haul away of the old box spring IMO! The item was delivered without any issues and the two guys who showed up were excellent.
