We went in with an idea of what ee wanted. They didnt have any customers, but as soon as I came in, so did another couple. Trying beds is kind of a silly process. You're there for 20 minuutes, you really dont get a true feel for what you would be sleeping pnce purchases. Nothing on the store, its just a strange process. Misty, on the other hand was patient and wonderful, we ended up buying a cooling tempurpedic. And with an instant credit, we got free sheets, a free mattress cover and free delivery. After a terrible experience with Mattress Firm online, I went to their store in Crystal River, Fl. I had spoke on the phone with the manager Misty and went in and dealt with Jake. He was able to fix my problem quickly and to my total satisfaction. I would never recommend dealing with Mattress Firm on line. The customer service for this company is HORRIBLE, and totally not customer oriented. They left me in the lurch and could not care less. Recently, we were in the market to purchase a new mattress for our home, here in Citrus County, Florida. After some research, we responded a local business, Mattress Firm, which is located in Crystal River. Upon arrival, we spoke with Misty, who was very personable, and we explained the situation to her. After some discussion, she assisted us with quickly finding the perfect mattress that we were looking for. As she guided us around their impressive showroom, she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable as it pertained to the inventory that she had in stock and what specific features her company provided once we purchased our mattress. Mattress Firm carries a complete line of various mattresses from top quality manufacturers and they are readily available for you to examine as you please. She went the extra mile to be pleasant and very accommodating as she answered all of our questions regarding the various mattresses on display. Subsequently, we were able to schedule a home delivery within a very reasonable time frame. On the day that we spoke with Misty, and also on the day of the impending delivery, I was contacted via text (which was our choice) and by home phone, that kept us informed of the delivery time every step of the way. The warehouse delivery team responded to our home at the stated time as promised and proceeded to do a very quick set up without issue. The delivery team was also very courteous and friendly, and meticulously cleaned up everything after the delivery and set up were completed. Throughout the entire process, they took the time to thoroughly explain everything in the process from beginning to end. It was ultimately a quality service completed in a timely manner. Misty was truly one of the nicest people that I have met and made us feel totally comfortable and confident with our choice of a mattress company. I have to say that this company really has it's act together in every way and we couldn't be happier with our new bedding. This place was great. The store manager Daniel was a big help. I went in a tad skeptic that I was going to get the salesman approach but this was definitely not the case. He listened to what I needed and stuck to that, no hassles. What I appreciated the most was that he found a BETTER mattress for the PRICE I wanted in a different location. I've had mattress 'issues' for a long time....we did the local thing, which did not work out...we did the online thing, it was a nightmare...so we decided to go to a reputable company that deals STRICTLY with sleep comfort. Yup, maybe we did buy an expensive mattress but it has been worth every penny! The crazy part was even tho we purchased in CR, the item was not available in our area (Gilchrist County).... Went in yesterday to price a bed. Only needed a box spring, and when the manager learned we loved our mattress she helped us to pick an affordable, but quality and 10 year warrantied box spring!! No push for upsales like other places we had visited. Delivery was very affordable and it was delivered today quickly and with no issues. They had a rug they even put down to keep it clean. What a wonderful store. The 2 salesmen were Bryan(mgr, I think) and David. Both were knowledgeable of their products. I ended up shopping with Bryan. I had done my homework and had my figures. At first he showed me an adjustable frame by Tempurpedic but the pricing was high. I asked about another companys frame and he also had that. He took the time to explain the difference to me and this one also had a position where the foot of the bed dropped flat. The wireless remote is great and also has the massage features. Various speeds and positions make this adjustable bed fantastic. I explained that I was shopping and not quite ready and that didn't phase Bryan at all. He was still attentive and answered all my questions. I had shopped this specific mattress in other places and had a lower price. He just said when you are ready to buy we will meet your price. After 23 years my own adjustable frame gave out and it was to old to fix. I went in and we made a great deal. Three days later I had 2 new adjustable frames to put my mattresses on. Such a pleasure. These 2 guys were great. No pressure to buy and when the time to buy was a hand, a perfect deal. Thank you Mattress Firm of Crystal River. My husband and I had spent much time looking around for a place to find a good Matress. A friend recommended us to try here...when we walked in the show room is beautifully done ...the guys that were working greeted us immediately and very willing to assist. With the help from Danny we found the perfect Matress ..Andrew also helped with questions and helped me find a pillow that I never knew could be so amazing. I'm not sure what I love more the Matress or my pillow. Danny spent much time in helping us and explaining. There are so many kinds these days and my husband was in need of a certain kind for his back. Without his help this sale would not have been able to take place and it is perfect . Much more sleep and less back problems we love this luxury firm. A individual coil that allows you to move and not disturb your spouse. Sound alseep and rested. Now the delivery . I have never seen more professional then the gentleman that brought the Matress .They placed a carpet in front of the door and wore booties ...can you believe ? Now that is customer service...to be sure not to track anything they went took these precautions ...they were fast and very polite. I would highly recommend this place. Went in to buy a new bed for my 2 yr old.After looking around and being shown a couple of set the manager says I have some clearance mattresses .He showed me a mattress and said it would be same one as floor model and he could get it for us at about half price .I said sounds good he said he would have them there for me to pick up on Monday .I came in on Monday It was a very windy day so he said hold the door for him he will load it in my van .I said fine and got my set and left .I got home we took the twin set out of the van and placed it on the frame and in big letters across the plastic was the words "Pre Owned" well my wife started flipping out cause even at a discount this was a close to $300.00 for a twin set and at no time were we told it was pre owned .I got on the phone and spoke to Dan the one who sold me the set and he said " what do you think clearance is it's used mattresses that have been sanatized .I said I was not made aware of the fact that it was used and he asked would it have made a difference at the time I said yes I would never buy a used set for me kids .Dan went on to say well when ever you buy something that says clearance its used I told him no I worked in retail for years and clearance is marked down not used .He did give me a refund but still when I got to the he saying clearance is normally used items"like at best buy when you buy an open box item"I said first an open box item is at leastvtelling you it could be a return and to be careful and Second you don't sleep on a stereo or tv . Now he was basically polite but nice don't matter if there conning you at same time.He also said that he got distracted by what we were the only people in the store from the time we got there till we left which was about 40 mins plenty of time to say you know it's pre owned.So be warned mattress firm is deceiving customers by not disclosing the facts.And for future reference retail clearance is a mark down in price and does not refer to its condition not disclosing an item as used prior to sale is fraud . I was just contacted by mattress firms corp.office explained my post again plus some parts I left out where the manager had mentioned he had a gulf club for people like me.after explaining everything I said not like anything will be done about it. I went in to Mattress Firm, Crystal River on Thursday, toting my 3 children. Danny, the manager greeted us warmly & professionally upon our entrance to the store, even though he was dealing with several other customers at the time. He told us he would help us ASAP. Danny promptly walked us through almost every mattress in the store and answered all of my questions. (And also dealt graciously with the expected distractions of my 3 children). When I informed Danny of the budget my husband had given me, in addition to what I wanted in a mattress, he informed me of the pre-owned (Clearance) mattresses (mattresses that had been sold new, returned within a 4 month warranty window, had passed warehouse inspections and had undergone a stringent sanitizing process). While I was on the phone with my husband, Danny called the warehouse to see what they had "ready to go" in the Clearance inventory. He was up-front, knowledgable and helpful and told me exactly what the cost would be, delivery fee and removal of old mattress (FREE). Danny was sweet with my kids and even let them hit some practice golf balls. 3 Days later, our perfectly pre-owned, thoroughly sanitized, King hybrid mattress has been delivered by the courteous and professional Red Carpet Mattress Firm delivery guys. And I couldn't be more impressed with the entire process. Thanks Danny! For getting me a great mattress, at a 70% discount. Jamin was wonderful. He spent at least an hour with my husband and me, explaining the different styles and options. He was extremely knowledgeable, attentive and informative. Ok , so I recently went into this new "Mattress One" location the other day , obviously in search of a new bed. After shopping several other locations. My first impression of this store was that I had to just walk around for at least 20 minutes while waiting for a salesman to even acknowledge my existence. So the manager tells me he will be with me in just a moment. So I wait some more. Then another couple walks in about 20 minutes after me and the salesman starts walking right over to them and starts helping them . I was just about to walk out and then the manager barks at the salesman to help me because I was there first. FINALLY! So I've done my research on beds and had a fairly good idea what I was looking for . I told the salesman I had shopped elsewhere and was interested in a particular model of bed with an adjustable base. So after he tells me that the bed I liked and am interested in is basically trash. ( it was only trash because they don't sell that model of bed and wanted to make a sale) The salesman brings me over to a different bed made by a different company. Before I layed on the bed he tells me that this is the Mercedes if beds. So I ask him about a coil count and foam encasement, and the numbers he gives me doesn't even compare to the bed I was actually interested in from a different store. I lay on the bed and it feels cheap and flimsy. So moving on from that ordeal I start asking about price match and all that good stuff. This salesman legitimately started bad mouthing the other store I had been to previously. He said so much rude stuff about that store that it was beginning to bother me. It doesn't get much more unprofessional than badmouthing your competition just to make a sale . So long story cut short I am very unsatisfied with this "Mattress One" They lied, Bad mouthed Competitors, And made me wait over 30 minutes before I got any service. I decided to go with the other company located in Homosassa and am very satisfied with the product, and customer service I received! read more

I read the previous review and was very surprised. The other review called the store Mattress One not Mattress Firm, so maybe he was talking about another store. The salesman introduced himself as soon as my wife and I entered the store. He was very helpful and I explained that we were new to the area, but I had looked at other companies and i new what i wanted. We had not bought our home yet so we had to go back in about two weeks after we closed on our new home. When we came Bryan met us and called me by my name. Explained a sale that they were having and saved us some money on the mattress we wanted. It was a very professional experience. About a month after we had the bed part of the threading came loose. I went back and told them what had happened. They ask no questions and replaced the mattress the next day. Both deliveries were on time and the delivery people were courteous and cautious in our home. read more
