Shopping for a big ticket item from my perspective is akin to an uncomfortable medical exam/procedure. I do not like it. However, my wife and I needed to replace our mattress. We had purchased a new mattress and box springs from Kohl's.com in January 2017. We had a deplorable experience with the contracted freight carrier for Kohl's and the merchandise was never delivered. I had met Keith T. and he had very professionally assisted me with the purchase of a new bed frame. We to returned to Mattress Firm and Keith assisted us with the purchase of a new Beautyrest mattress and foundation. He was professional, knowledgeable about his products and was not overbearing. I am so happy with the service I received! Keith was excellent, he answered all my questions and was very personable. He made several phone calls for me to be sure that I was able to get something I really liked and didn't let me settle for a mattress just because it was in my price range. I made a few trips to make sure I was satisfied with the one I chose. The delivery was super fast and came the day after it was ordered. I just recently moved to Dover, De and my first big pic was going to be a mattress for my KING size bed. I believe, John, helped me with that. Service was great, delivery prompt, and set up just fine. I was so pleased with my purchase that I returned 2 months later and had the pleasure to deal with Normalyn, she was an absolute dream. She is the kind of salesperson I would love when it comes time to buy a vehicle. She greeted me, asked If I had any questions, and allowed me to cruise the sales floor until I had questions. Very good customer service, I recommend this location especially. Keith, the associate who is well versed with his job and knows his way around the store. Honest and upfront, will work with you to get what you want without being pushy about it. He even suggested that I go to the Camden location, they do have a bigger selection but I ultimately came back because I preferred his service. Don't sleep on the deals that they have going on, I highly doubt anyone could walk out not feeling confident and happy about their purchase. I highly recommend mattress firm, despite what people claim that it is the "Walmart," of mattress stores. I originally purchased a Sealy posturepedic when the store was Sleepys, the mattress was horrendous. Went back to Sleepys and replaced it with a Sterns & Foster. When the mattress was delivered it had a deep indentation at the foot of the mattress, it was replaced and the mattress again had the indentation. Went back to Sleepys only to find out that Mattress Firm took over Sleepys. This is when I met John M., he assured me that he would resolve the issue, well my new mattress (same style & brand) has arrived and there is NO indentation in the mattress yeah. My Husband and I just moved to Dover. We have been needing a bigger bed, a full for the two of us wasn't working. We decided to stop in and see what they had, walking in the door we were blown away. The store was very well set up, and the customer service was beyond fantastic. We didn't feel pressured or felt like the store manager was using all his sales tactics on us. He made my wife just full of kicks and giggles on a good mattress that will ensure she rests and heals from a major back injury and surgery. We were looking for a plan/simple mattress for our daughter. The salesman, Julio, went above and beyond for our needs. He check other stores clearance inventory and saved us a LOT! Keith was excellently helpful. The only reason I did not buy a bed there is because Mattress Firm does not carry the mattress I like in a Cal King Split for use with duel adjustable frame and the mattresses that fit the frame I did not like.
