As far as selection, there is so much to look at, I almost always come home spending more than I planned. The shoe department is especially good. So is the handbag department. Actually every department I have shopped has had a good assortment and I can find things I want. They also have a Clearance center with REALLY low prices on the second floor.

I asked if the 4-week timeline could be guaranteed, and she told me it could not -- in fact, she said it would likely be longer than that. This directly contradicted what we had just been told over the phone. At this point, we are nearly four months in with no clear or reliable delivery timeline. The lack of transparency and inconsistent communication has been extremely disappointing. I would strongly caution others about purchasing furniture from this store if it requires warehouse delivery, as the estimated timelines do not appear to be accurate or dependable.

This is a quirky store that fits in for the area. I'm trying to think of a place to compare it to in the area but cannot. I was bored one day and pulled up a map and looked for places I have never been before. That just happened to show me Ken's. I actually never heard of it until I saw the map. Ken's sits in a position that overlooks Route 219 and is about a mile or two from the exit. Not much else up herein terms of shopping beside the thrift store. Parking lot is a bit tricky as it is gravel and not marked in anyway. Once inside you are greeted by several different rooms that are filled with stuff. It definitely covers all departments that you would find at a store. Not as large as you would find in a typical store, but definitely covers a fair share. Like many stores like this, some of the items on the shelf could be questionable. Read that as some packages are damaged, maybe some are near their sell by date. One last thing, go by their Facebook page not their webpage.

When this place started to pop up in his conversation I had to ask what it was. The best way I can describe this to you is the following: think Amish store, consignment shop, thrift store. You can't necessarily put this place in any given category because it is not completely one particular business. The items they have on their shelves you can tell come from other stores, especially by the branding. There are some really good deals to be found here, or maybe just find a new item you have never seen or heard of before. It is best to come here when you have time to spare because this is not a spot to dash in and grab something. What I found great was that this is taking up two storefronts in this plaza that were formerly empty. I want to say that one of the spaces used to be the post office. It is a welcomed addition to this plaza as they are kind of going under a revitalization of sorts. Other businesses are moving in as well. The consignment portion is pretty mixed. You really need to have time to go through what is offered. But overall, the store has food items, cleaning supplies, toys, small appliances, outdoor furniture, outdoor items, and so much more. Cash is encouraged here, but they do take cards with a surcharge. You will be surprised by the final price once you do pay.

Great people are in store, but it appears their corporate office is either penny pinching or this store is on way to closing. 1st follow-up issue: planned and ordered new kitchen cabinets advised their designer we wanted farm house sink, was told would need on-site for installer and counter folks. Installers are not aware of it even though it's in the plans. I assumed counter folks install it. Counter folks could not measure until the sink was set (cut into cabinet). I had to call cabinet folks and pay another $500 for them to come back and do this. Countertop folks had to come out 2 more times to finally accept installation. I was billed an additional $350 for multiple trips So due to hd it cost me $850 more than the $27k I already paid plus time with no usable kitchen. Their office of the president did nothing, including no response. Most recently ordered new storm door to be delivered. They no longer have installers, so you're on your own for that. Anyway, the door arrives at the store. I got a call they only have a 18 wheel truck to deliver it. I was informed that corporate took their box truck because they are losing money on delivery (hmm a 18 wheeler is so much more efficient). I had them cancel the order they could not uphold what they contracted for, went to Lowes door, is cheaper, they can deliver, and they have Installers. Re-doing 2 bathrooms, will be using lowes and advising others as well

Most of the shoes in here you can find elsewhere and most times at a cheaper price. It's rather large, but I think that is a downside for this particular store. There is too much inventory. There is a small section in the back that is for clearance inventory, but it is rather sparse at times. They also have other items on hand for purchase. Socks, shoelaces and other shoe-centric items. But they also carry watches, jewelry and candy as well. Located on the lower level of the Galleria mall in Johnstown, which is a slowly dying mall.
