So given this, why would I give them such a low rating and the answer is their service is quite poor. I paid for my rug gave the owner an option as to when they would deliver it understanding that I needed assistance in laying the rug down over and already existing carpet, but that there were enough furnishings that I would require assistance so much so that I sent the owner in the process of our discussion and at her request pictures of the room and the furniture in the room so she knew precisely the situation that was being presented to her, but she assured me that that would not be a problem. I paid for the rug. The owner told me that she would have it to my home one week after the day that I had purchased it, which was a Tuesday before I left, and after I paid for the rug, she thought through it and asked if it would be acceptable That she delivered on Wednesday rather than Tuesday. This was after I had paid for it. I still consented because I did not see one day as critical, and she said she would confirm with me on Friday of the week in which I had purchased the rug. Since she had not called me on Friday, I called her since they were closed on Mondays and she said that she would confirm the following Tuesday for a Wednesday delivery since it involve my emptying two curios of glassware. I asked respectfully if she would, please confirm on Tuesday so that I had sufficient time. She did not confirm so I called her on Tuesday afternoon at which point she informed me that I would have to move the furniture she could not she did not have a sufficient number of workers and that they had gotten a bigger job. She then said that she might be able to do it on Friday, but she would have to confirm with me on Thursday. Given the track record, I asked her to refund the money. She said she could not do it immediately, but that she would do it in the afternoon. I thought better than to just leave the issue go given her performance and her inconsistency and so when I arrived at her office later on Tuesday afternoon, in point of fact, she had not even started the process of refunding the money , and I was informed by I believe it was her husband that she could not return the money without the credit card on which I charged it. So that her promise to refund the money could not have ever been executed unless I presented the card. Since I was there, I presented the card. I did receive a credit at that point and financially there was no loss. There was only loss of my time. Why do I post this with a negative review? It was clear to me that she had no concept of service. Furthermore, after refunding the money, she told me that it was never her intention to send staff to help me with the furniture, which was the whole basis of the transaction to begin with.

I entrusted him with a rare and sentimental carpet and paid a considerable amount to have it repaired . Trusting him, I wrote a check up front. Prior my recent experience he had been punctual in picking up and dropping. I am concerned as it has been a year and I cannot reach him. I spoke with him a few months ago and have called twice since then and have had no calls returned. Lesson learned, never pay up front for services rendered. You never know what could happen. I will continue to await a response as I believed him to be an honest businessman.

The tile is Ambiance 12x24 and appears to be a defective tile. It does not have the durability of porcelain tile. It is fragile and could break if someone dropped a mug or glass while standing up. I emailed Lone Star Flooring on 12Jul20 to replace the broken tile (1). Lone Star Flooring requires $125.00 for the labor alone.
